Hardly affluence. Farming is hard work and butter making is too. Of course not all farmers are tv stars on the side😉
Pierre O. Park I grew up totally “lower class”. We had a chicken coop and a full garden. My mom canned the veggies. I could use a chicken coop about now.

I have been following you for decades! I have to say if I could have lived any other person's life anywhere in time and history it would be yours. The grace with which you have handled adversity coupled with your love of beauty, quality, usefulness, value and simplicity are what makes you so admirable. You are my inspiration and my aspiration! I miss you on PBS and other channels. One thing I always loved is your decorating the White House when I think the Clintons were there. I miss the earliest issues of your magazine and having you on the cover. Now I get to watch you on RUclips! Bravo!
DO NOT PUT FRUIT ON TOP OF THE PUDDING to bake. The currants come out as dried up inedible little black pellets, something akin to rabbit poo! Put your fruit under the top layer of bread. Also, make sure to let your bread absorb the custard mixture for about 10 minutes before baking otherwise you end up with toast on top of your pudding. Hope these tips help someone.
