Good times - thanks for that reminder, Steve.

I grew up under the approach to Dundee airport, everytime one of the non Cessnas flew over I'd rush out to the garden to watch! Happy days. In the early 90s I took my first ever flight to Manchester of all places. I remember I had a mini can of coke and a Mcvities gold bar for the inflight service. @SteveMarsh Nice video Steve. Was that the crowd that stopped you filming going to (Was it Inverness or Wick) Would have been lovely views if it had been clear. I Never flew into any airport at the north end of the country. Are you heading home by boat after visiting Rathlin Island?
When I got married (back in the 80s) my parents and I flew from Aberdeen to Manchester on a flight that stopped at Dundee Airport. It was a wee red plane with Royal Mail on the side. There was low cloud so the first view I had of Dundee airport was out of the plane window at about 45 degrees looking up as we banked in a tight turn over the Tay Bridge.

Cheers Thomas, was a really fun wee flight!
Bit a change from "you can turn THAT off" on the short island hop you did a whle back. Great video 2x👍
Haha so true mate! Like chalk n cheese!
I really enjoy the mix of plane, train/boat and automobile Steve.... 👍... always enjoy ure vlogs. Fantastic
Cheers Alan! Back on a boat for the next one! :)
Another cracking flight review Steve! Do love Loganair and completely forgot they flew from Dundee. To be honest, completely forgot Dundee had an airport! Thanks again Steve.
Me too until very recently! :)
Oh to be so famous Steve 🤣. Great video. Thanks x
Haha and even 2 wafers! :D
You are such a good bloke. All power to you.
Thanks so much Tim!
Nice, I hope the other passenger's did not get too excited when they knew who you were!
Haha strangely quiet :D
Enjoyed both the flight and visit to Craggy-sorry I mean Rathlin Island films. When I used to work on Islay, I used to occasionally see the lights from Northern Ireland!
Haha cheers David! Lights from a distant land are always very magnetic to me!
Careful now and down with this sort of thing🙂
@@alansimpson596 "Would you like a cup of tea, father? Go on, go on, go on...." One of the best comedies ever!
Aww, Steve - you'd have thought they could have moved those clouds for you - it'll be another Fife Council cutback, I expect...🤣🤣
Awesome descent into Belfast though - many thanks for sharing!
Haha I know right!? :D Fun flight none the less :)
Fun ride Steve. Never knew such a useful flight existed. Great to how famous you are becoming - or maybe warning to cabin crew to be extra nice to you! You have inspired me to go travelling again so after putting on my steve-hat and shades I went to arbroath yesterday. Fantastic weather, interesting signal lighthouse museum for the bell rock and great tea room just down from the station. A great day out.
Cheers Allan! Hoping to do a wee video on Arbroath soon, so you're giving me ideas :)
Great video Steve. Really enjoyed it. 🙂
Welcome to Northern Ireland, hope you have/had a great time.
Cheers Audrey! :)
Those reverse seats in front look very interesting, reminds me of the Air Canada Jazz Dash 8-300 which also has the reverse seats in front!
If one is really lucky one can end up playing kneesy with an off-duty stewardess ;-)
Try flying in the upper deck of the C5 Galaxy, one of the largest US military cargo jets. You have to climb some shaky aluminum stairs - www.spacea.net/images/c5_ladder.jpg - to get up there and all of the civilian-style seats face aft -- www.spacea.net/images/seats_c51.jpg.
@@mstrdiver The C-5 reminds me of the Antonov An-124 and 225! The cockpit of those aircraft is also accessed by stairs like those!
I should have sat in the opposite seat! Never experienced flying backwards before!
@@naturallyherb - It should as they are based on the Boeing airframe if you look at the fuselage, etc. There's a long story to it but basically there was a major scam that was pulled on Boeing and they fell for it.
Always love a little bit of aeroplane geekery :)
Haha cheers Jonathan!
Always passed that wee airport when travelling to Aberdeen to go offshore, never actually thought it was a public airport if that makes sense mate haha!
Yeah I was the same mate!
Somehow missed this video. Great video. Real shame they cancelled the route hopefully back during summer. Bring that and Amsterdam route.
Loved the 40 shades of green when you hit the NI coast :)
So true Terry! Stunning :)
Islandmagee with the Gobbins Cliff path. Well worth a visit
I like the ramp leading to back door of plane. Usually youve to ascend and descend (even trickier) a steep wee set of steps while carrying cabin bag etc when you board in Edinburgh or George Best. Accident waiting to happen for some poor traveller!😢
Oh yes, I agree, especially when holding a camera too!
Good video 👍 thanks Steve
Cheers James!
@SteveMarsh
Nice video Steve. Was that the crowd that stopped you filming going to (Was it Inverness or Wick) Would have been lovely views if it had been clear. I Never flew into any airport at the north end of the country. Are you heading home by boat after visiting Rathlin Island?
Sure am mate! No, that was Eastern Airways, they are nothing compared to wonderful Loganair :)
That's superb mate, I wish you could still do random wee flights like that today!
Another excellent video as always. I can always tell Alicja does the captions by the way.
Haha you know too much! Cheers :)

That was a lovely flight Steve. Love the ATR. I think Loganair fly Dublin to Aberdeen, but not with the ATR. 👍😊🛫🇮🇪🏴
Oh another one to try! Cheers mate!
Cool 😎👍😊
Steve, that seating setup was a dream! And, much appreciated, I imagine, with the active days you were just starting!
Condolences on the passing of your Queen.
Thanks Erin! I went up to the side of the road as the cortege passed home - a very moving experience!
