In the Army. I would tape my back to protect from rucksack rub. The tape would easily last the 7 day test week. Brutal to remove in the shower afterwards🤣
@@danielmackenzie680 You could tape a pice of cardboard, or the front or back page from a magazie. It would hurt both your back and your wallet, way less!
Thank you so much. I have no Cartlidge & have been getting Synvisc injections periodically for years & taping. I am 75 1/2 & doing all I can to avoid knee replacement.
My knee blew up for no apparent reason one day i didn't think to much of it but was uncomfortable laying down and getting up...No pain just a little awkward but the knee was like this for about two months... I decided to use this(Elasticoplast) and after two weeks my knee deflated God knows how and back to normal ... I Was advised to go to Hospital by doctors before hand but the fact I have a massive fear of surgery I thought I would live with it till i found something and this tape is magic.....
You missed the bit where you advise on shaving ya legs prior to doing this otherwise the pain experienced when taking it off will out weigh the knee pain you had in the first place!! ;-)
Hey everyone, the greatest success that I have ever had was by using the Lenas Bow Remedy (just google it) - definately theno.1 info that I've followed.
Seems like a bit of an unanswerable question. Was your injury a paper cut? Then probably will be fine. Cannon ball to the knee? Probably not as fine. There's various levels between that would require their own assessment.
Instead of this, could use one of those velcro knee support things? Just curious as over the time of the injury, this is going to cost a small fortune and in my eyes as they are both on the outside of the body in effect they would or might be doing the same thing..... Or am I missing something. Just out of curiosity
For I had the same problem but with my ankle and I used a Velcro support and it didn’t work that well so I moved to tape and that works way better considering I have to tape both ankles and knees
@@funwithsiblingsnorton4415 hnmm thanks for your input... Each to their own I suppose an whatever works for each individual.... I've actually found that nothing is working for me , ha aparfrom loads of darn pain killers.....
no you must spend $70 on all the tapes! the first stuff he used is plaster type is quite stiff. then he finished with a compression bandage (this is a self sticking bandage it looks like tape as well but it isnt) if you have to choose get a compression bandage or self adhesive bandage. D3 makes them as well and can pick them up in coles for $8 for 2 different thickness. good value. elastoplast will be quite expensive
@@dansmith9724 I was just thinking exactly the same thing.... As doing this lot is going to cost a fortune... As these kind of injuries won't go away fast I'm sure

Inexpensive Re-usable, washable elastic supports made in wonderful China can do just as good. If the supports loose their elasticity, they're cheap enough to buy truck loads to keep you going. Don't fall into these commercial traps.
Let me just get a loan really quick so I can afford all this tape
Sim, desnecessário tudo isso!
KT,tape it works better

Our body self heals everytime something goes wrong inside or outside. What do you think was healing your cuts all the time, the plasters?
This is great wrapping to support knee right before a game. Knee braces tend to slip or move around once you start to sweat.
Really good instructions, thank you!

Lots of people get bad rashes from the tape. Ace bandages seem to work well without the rashes.
Wonder how many days in a row I can keep these bandaids on without retaping
Thank you, the best 👌
How many days will I be left on my knees?
How about the outside of the knee?
Maybe the injury was on the inside
This would be a good solution for under wetsuit surfing but in the end a neoprene knee brace was easier and probably has better lateral support
How many days wait with tapping
After this are we able to move freely because I do some sort of martial arts and I don't know if this will be helpful with kicks
How long can I keep this on, reasonably? It is a fair bit of tape...can I keep it on for 3 days or so?
Yes, up to 5 days we recommend our patients.

Can one get involved in sporting activity like soccer with this taping method, After about five months of injury?
