Hi Lisa, almost always use a pre-tape spray on a gameday and typically on sweatier or more mobile areas/joints with greater movement including shoulders, knees and ankles
Hello! I am currently injured like this. 10 days have passed and I feel like my legs can walk and run quite well. But when passing or kicking the ball, it feels a bit painful. Do you have any recovery exercises? Thank you!
Depends on the grading really: Estimated timescales: GrI: 2-4 weeks, GrII 4-8 weeks, GrIII: 10-12 weeks as a rough guide. Rehab has to be good though otherwise you'll likely redo. You can check out my full guide to MCL management in the sports rehab principles webinar on GrowPhysio.com
Thanks you so much, perhaps you should do a follow along video on the rehab exercises. It will be encouraging. I play ⚽ soccer, and I will be very grateful.
Depends on the grading: Grade 1: 2-4 weeks, 2: 4-12 weeks, grade 3: 12 weeks+. Our GrII & III follow a bracing protocol for 6 weeks with angle limitations to reduce valgus or rotational stresses to the MCL
Do you use any spray before doing the taping to make sure it doesn’t fall off while playing your sport?

What’s the best way to remove the tape? Unbelievably painful!!!! Like a wax strip
If you're hairy, shave pre taping or you could use underwrap
