Thank you for the Sim advice man ! I never really understood how to sim different things i basically just simmed ST stuff because when you ask people usually tell you nothing makes sense except that- or "use your head" which idk man makes it hard to understand sometimes :)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but afaik Porom, the SimC APL writer for Mage, suggests only to use Parchwerk Fight Mode and change the number of bosses to emulate a trash pull in m+ scenarios. He said the APL is writen around it iirc.
Hey! Oh, I did not know that, but most guidewriters care very little about m+, and 99% of the time suggest things for raid (so for example how to sim for a boss who has multiple targets) What is iirc? But I'll keep that in mind and give it a try in further occasions!
I tried switching to fire to do higher keys, but I just feel so much more comfortable on Arcane, I might just swap back. All my gear up until a week ago I was optimized for arcane anyway.
@@KyujiQG u could have waited another what, 10h ?!, and have a myth chest for catalyst. The stat budget on chest is much higher then others. So losing 3 ilvl on chest is worse then e.g. 3 ilvl on boots or rings. Especially because ring doesn't even give mainstat. Also crit-mastery on chest is fine stat wise. Like this u might end up spending much more resources optimizing.
siming arcane is no better magic than managing his cds in m+. I usually do 5min patchwerk 1 boss and 40 sec patchwerk 5 bosses with no lust. just to compare regular bossfight and regular pack. fun that u still wanna stick more to single target stats, as for me mastery drops down for aoe, but u definitely don't wanna stay oom on boss so just stick to regular patchwerk. maybe a bit more haste a bit less mastery but no more, in my case ofc.

IIRC is short for 'if I recall correctly'. And it was Toegrinder that said on a QA that fight styles other than Patchwerk should not be trusted.

Best option would've probably been cloak + 2nd lining on eith boots or ring as it does cost u a lot less, even if u wouldn't have gotten a myth chest
But why craft a lower ilvl ring instead of a higher ilvl chest with better stats?

How do I sim embellishment without paying for premium tier? I didn’t quite see how you added the embellished gear, do you sim it in top gear?
Yeah you gotta find the piece on wowhead, select its ilvl, rhen copy the import string and add that to the original simc string
why don't u use Belor'relos? didn't you get it or just not cozy to use?)
