Dutch lost it when Hosea got shot..story mode was so well made by rock star that I literally got so emotional during it. I generally refuse to see Arthur die and for Dutch to leave him because of the fact it’s obvious Arthur dies and at the start I thought Dutch was well “alright.” Goddamn red dead redemption 3 if it ever comes out is gonna be just as amazing hopefully.

Dutch- who everyone believes is a crazed maniac who doesn't care about anybody other than himself at this time- tells arthur that he will go back to get the rest of the gang Arthur HATES this idea, calls him crazy and belittles him for it, yet we're supposed to believe magically after that he's the one who wants to "rescue" people- when in reality, he never tried to help dutch and insulted anyone who stayed loyal to him

i think dutch just adjusted to who he had to be to make it but if you also see what he did before chapter 4/5 arthur followed him as for after arthur questioned and went against dutch and we only seen it from arthurs point but dutch had to do all those thing so he wouldnt be wronged
I think Dutch was just continuously more dissociated from life, as time went on he just didn't want to be there, and the last thing Dutch did, was shoot Micah

As it for everybody else, he's got options. He goes to Tahiti if only he lived his live properly, otherwise it's Guarma.
