I restarted the game atleast 3 times because i never found Rdr 2 that interesting , kept getting bored but this my third time going through it and hoping i finish it. Up to act 4 and how i felt abojt Arthur before is starting to change.
Everytime i see Arthur helping someone close to him, I tear up. Everytime I see Arthur’s Death, or him having fun, I cry. It hurts so much he’s like my great grandpa or my brother... they are the most important people to me, and for a character I’ve been playing as for 6 months since I first played RDR2, makes me cry for the first time in around 6 years, that means something. I thought I lost emotions to my great grandma’s death... but now after playing RDR2, they’ve come back.
My 9year old daughter sat beside me while I played this. The story had us on the edge of our seats and when Arthur died we both squalled like babies. Still love this game and still playing it
Arthur Morgan is the most respectable and amazing person that rockstar have ever created, every time I complete the game I cry when he dies.. I think I’ve completed the game about 9 times now and you’d think I’d get over it.
I was the same, you know that feeling when your whole body shivers and tingles in a way that makes you think your scared and sad, I had that moment and it got me, Arthur and John share equally amazing ends, some say John's wasn't that great but when he died like that and seeing his family come back to see what happened, I feel so bad that he never got to really say goodbye
I want to replay this but I also want to think as if life has an ending and want to leave Arthur in peace and have memories of him. Man such a great protaganist.
A beautiful tribute to a hero who won't be forgotten. Arthur is an amazing example that no matter how far you've gone, no matter how bad things are, your friends and family are always there to lift you up and support you.
Its maybe a bit late but i just completed RDR2 and it was without a doubt the best game i've ever played, at the beginning i always had low honor but then Arthur talked about how he wanted to be a good man so i started helping people and stayed low honor, but at the last mission with Arthur when he died i saw the deer en that made me cry so hard a game never felt so real, Arthur was one of the best characters in any game, i just wish i could wipe my memory and experience the end of this game again. R.I.P. Arthur Morgan 1863-1899
WeebMaster 69 this game taught me that no matter what life puts you through be strong for the ones that love you the most and they will love you until the day you die and don’t beat yourself up from all the bad that you did be proud of all the good and learn from the bad and always do what’s right
So glad I played this game. Initially wasn't going bother buying RDR2 but my friend convinced me. Man an I glad I did. I've always liked Singleplayer better than Multiplayer. But what an amazing story.
Arthur Morgan is the greatest character I’ve ever seen in any fictional story. It is a true masterpiece of writing. Never in my 26 years of life have I ever felt a non existent characters pain. I will admit and never be ashamed I was mentally broken for a couple weeks after seeing Arthur die on the top of that mountain.
I never gave up on you Arthur. You're the one who got to me. And I would follow you to the deepest circle of hell that many would say you deserve; but what gives them the right to say that? Do they know who you are? Do you know? Whatever it may be, I'm sure you knew in the end.
I won't lie, this video made me cry. To the person who made this video, BRAVO!!! This is one of the most heart felt video games ever and you managed to put just that in this video. I Loved it
I usually don't cry because of a video game, but damn when Arthur died I couldn't hold it back, I never thought that I would love a game character so much that it would make me cry if that character died or something else... Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best game I have ever played, because that it made me think of my own dad, in some way, I started to see Arthur as a father figure for me... May he finally find peace and love... Fantastic video btw, it made also cry... Thanks for that! :-)
Never have I felt so emotionally attached to a fictional character but dang it Rockstar, u made tears well up in my eyes. Phenomenal work. Simply Phenomenal.
Damn. That's amazing, this just shows the quality in story telling and character development of this game. Hands down one of, or if not the best game I have ever played.
I remember when Arthur saved me from the wolves. He also saved me from the Pinkertons.. I never got to pay him back, but he’s my brother. And Red Dead wasn’t even a game. It was neither an experience, it was our lives, miss ya Brother. Never really got to say goodbye to Arthur..
i’ve played dozens of video games in my life but never have they ever affected my life emotionally like this game. it brought up memories of my life that wished i could go back to. it brought up memories that i hope to never experience again. the nostalgia i felt while playing this game was like nothing i’ve ever felt before. it was like living parts of my life over again. there was times i had to pause the game and just stop and sit and think. rockstar made a great fucking game. they a game that was able to connect to me and other players on a personal level. we played the life of arthur morgan and his life was in some parts, similar to ours. no other game has been to connect to players the way this game has red dead redemption 2. a game that brought me happiness. a game that brought me pain. a game that will forever hold a place in my heart. a game that i think will forever hold a place in other peoples hearts. a wonderful, amazing, terrible game. it will forever be my favorite game. thank you rockstar, thank you for making this a truly unforgettable game.

This game was the first game to EVER make me cry over a character I’ve felt so connected to and having Autism for me really made me feel shot having this tribute bring back all those memories from the past events. Thank you Arthur Morgan for being the connection to many people. Your story will never be forgotten
The best moment for me was when the god squad pulled up to the mansion for the kid.

The only protagonist of all time in video games that made me shed tears 😭 rip Arthur
Arthur was likeable, seeing his death when there were so much work to do is horrible to see and very unsatisfying. That's why I cried at least.

Benjamin Ensign did you play the first Red Dead ?
@@youngmingo103 Yes I did but a few years ago and I was younger so I didn't even tho Jack had a mission to do, but even then he was never that interesting to me, still hated to see him die tho cuz I didn't like how Jack looked
Benjamin Ensign Lol way you feel about Marshton is how I feel about Arthur. I restarted the game atleast 3 times because i never found Rdr 2 that interesting , kept getting bored but this my third time going through it and hoping i finish it. Up to act 4 and how i felt abojt Arthur before is starting to change.
@@youngmingo103 Oh alright lol
Everytime i see Arthur helping someone close to him, I tear up. Everytime I see Arthur’s Death, or him having fun, I cry. It hurts so much he’s like my great grandpa or my brother... they are the most important people to me, and for a character I’ve been playing as for 6 months since I first played RDR2, makes me cry for the first time in around 6 years, that means something. I thought I lost emotions to my great grandma’s death... but now after playing RDR2, they’ve come back.

Arthur Morgan is the most respectable and amazing person that rockstar have ever created, every time I complete the game I cry when he dies.. I think I’ve completed the game about 9 times now and you’d think I’d get over it.
I'm a grownass man, but when Arthur sayin "I'm afraid" I'm just loosing it. HOW TO STOP MY TEARS BOYS????
You can't
You don't even try.
Truly the saddest video game tale
Izayah Castillo he tired he really did
I want to replay this but I also want to think as if life has an ending and want to leave Arthur in peace and have memories of him. Man such a great protaganist.
One of the best stories in gaming history. Fantastic characters. Just pure magic.

And some people say video games don’t teach you anything and are a waste of time
WeebMaster 69 if anything you learn a lot of valuable life lessons from video games much like fairy tales.
WeebMaster 69 this game taught me that no matter what life puts you through be strong for the ones that love you the most and they will love you until the day you die and don’t beat yourself up from all the bad that you did be proud of all the good and learn from the bad and always do what’s right
Honestly
Who cares what people say? 😉
they honestly teach you more about life than any school or college can ever
This literally had me in tears, this was the best story I've ever played in a long time
That damn boy was a very good man
So glad I played this game.
Best story game rockstar has made actually overall best story game that I’ve played that has meaning behind it love family emotion etc...
I never gave up on you Arthur.
You're the one who got to me.
And I would follow you to the deepest circle of hell that many would say you deserve; but what gives them the right to say that? Do they know who you are? Do you know? Whatever it may be, I'm sure you knew in the end.
In the end.. he did

Every time I watch Arthur during these moments I almost cry. However his death always makes me cry
I remember when Arthur saved me from the wolves. He also saved me from the Pinkertons.. I never got to pay him back, but he’s my brother. And Red Dead wasn’t even a game. It was neither an experience, it was our lives, miss ya Brother. Never really got to say goodbye to Arthur..
i’ve played dozens of video games in my life but never have they ever affected my life emotionally like this game. it brought up memories of my life that wished i could go back to. it brought up memories that i hope to never experience again.
the nostalgia i felt while playing this game was like nothing i’ve ever felt before. it was like living parts of my life over again. there was times i had to pause the game and just stop and sit and think.
rockstar made a great fucking game. they a game that was able to connect to me and other players on a personal level. we played the life of arthur morgan and his life was in some parts, similar to ours. no other game has been to connect to players the way this game has
