  • Another highly requested racket by the Gladiators family. The Yonex Vcore Pro 100. One confusing frame as it has way more to do with the Vcore than with the Vcore Pro. Could this Vcore Pro 100 be the next racket for Areg? Watch the video till the end to find out!

    I just bought this racket. i switched after a year from yonex ezone 100 to yonex vcore pro 100. I dont regret it. Best racket I ever played with. Less power than the ezone but for someone with a complete swing more than anough power on the vcore pro 100. Ezone was not stable enough for me, it lacked feel. When you hit hard you have to hit it extremly clean with the ezone otherwise it floated out, the vcore pro you can hit all day long and everything goes in. It is a bit more difficult to hit a winner with the vcore pro 100 but the feel is so great, smooth, you can push en brush through the ball and you dont have to worry the ball will jump of the racket. The vcore pro 100 feel softer and is easy to use. Perfect match for me on my game right know, Its feels like I can improve my game again with this new 2021 racket(bought it in okt 2023)

    Thanks for reviewing my racket! I was surprised that your review racket was so close in spec to mine (just strung 2 pounds higher with the same string and gauge). First of all, what drew me in was the 'retro' aesthetic. It is polarising, but I love it to bits. Coming from the Babolat Pure Strike 3rd Gen 18x20 (which was great to hit with but lacked easy power), the VCP100 truly felt like an extension of my arm. The low stiffness and dampened string meant that I could swing as fast as I wanted and the ball would still go in. It took me a couple of tries to find my perfect racket, but I think I found it in this one.

    Great review guys this has been my racquet of choice for 3 months now and 5.0 player.
    Was a DR100 user and still my old racquets of choice but wanted an upgrade after 5
    years.
    Bought the Vcore 98 and now sold them as just didn't feel the vibe with it to muted and just not the same feel and control as my DRs.
    So read reviews and demoed these and honestly haven't looked back.
    I added 5 grams of lead at 3&9 and 5 grams on the handle and damn did that do the trick.
    Have got Volkl Cyclone 18g at 54 pounds and that is the perfect combo.
    Highly recommended racquet for anyone looking for a control orientated 100 frame with enough power and spin.
    Cheers again guys love your channel.

    Personally I prefer the colour design from the previous generation. Not just because I have them myself (18x20 version) but the darl green with golden details is a bit more elegant compared to this nee bohemian paint job. Speaking of which, have you tried the 18x20 version of this racquet? I bet it’d be something for Grisha. I’am a heavy flat hitter myself and the racquet is a pure joy to hit with.

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  2 года назад +1

      Hey!! Control and power are on the different sides of the spectrum therefore you do have to choose which one you value more. If it is control, I'd try the Wilson Pro Staff 97 v13. If you'd rather prefer power, I'd give Head Boom MP a shot. The racket that will be the easiest on the shoulder though, I'd say would be the Wilson Clash v2

    Would you say the vcore pro 100 a good spin racket? I’m trying it out. I also use the head extreme tour but it is hurting my arm recently. . I was using hyper g and Grapplesnake m8 with the extreme tour. Could try a softer poly on the extreme tour and see if that helps with the vibrations. But the vcore pro 100 would let me use a more spin friendly poly like Grapplesnake tour sniper, cube or game changer. I hit from the baseline with a lot of topspin and pace and have a one handed backhand where I use topspin and slice. Any opinion on these two rackets or any other you would recommend? Never had tennis elbow but this last month I’ve had pain.

    I paid the down payment last week for an Ezone 100. Honestly, I didn't want to buy a racquet for now, but the store told me once the stock came to the store it'll immediately be sold out (Same as previous stock) So I ask them to keep a 98 and 100. In the end, I chose the 100.
    My first concern is that the throat is quite thick which I need to adapt to, but all fine for my backhand setting not like the pure aero. I'll grab it next weekend
    Also, I'm studying Grisha's forehand lately which is so fascinating!

I suggest I finish all the Kinetic Chain primary and my forehand is up to standard! Now the next step is how to stay my racquet on the hitting side. One thing that came up to me is your stroke. Although I will definitely be not able to whip that hard like you, I think I can learn something from it

    • @gladiatorstribe

      The Speed is more powerful and has a touch better access to spin. The Yonex takes it in terms of feel and comfort for sure. In comparison the Vcore is also more stable. So yes, basically you said everything correctly. That's a response from Grisha but I hope you don't mind 😂

    $10 ain't enough for such hight quality content, but hopefully helps at least a little. Love your good mood on the court and I wish I had such mindset on court and especially in the match when I am losing (that means every match). Anyway, if you notice my comment, I hope you could advise me a little. Currently I am something around 4.0 player using head graphene 360 radical pro. Love the racket. Love its feel and versatility but it ruins my arm and the ball is always sailing long when I am under pressure. So I purchased Head 360+ Gravity Tour and put around 10 grams of weight into the handle. The racket has great comfort and feel, and has much lower launch angle than radical, which makes me more confident but I tend to hit net more often. Considering to switch to 2022 ezone 98. What do you guys think? Thank you so much for the content.

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  Год назад +1

      Thank you so much! Everything counts for us! Means a lot! Considering your racket history, the Ezone is going to be the most powerful one by a margin. With a high launch angle. You will compromise on control compared to the radical and the gravity. However you could adjust that by increasing the tension. I really like the Ezone 98 so I definitely recommend. The feel is great, the sweet spot is massive, great power but still decent control. It has got it all 😉
