We (UK) are like a 17 point underdog as long as we play hard and don't get embarrassed I'm fine with a loss. We could still finish the season 11-1 only losing to the #1 team in America. Our rivals Tennessee and Louisville are better than we thought and will try to ruin our top bowl bid.
Been telling everybody they been a legit team past 6 years. Stoops has turned the program around for sure. The went 10-3 in 2018 and almost beat Florida two years in a row, they been holding their own against GA past few seasons. The defense been top 10 in the country past few years. The offensive line been one of the best in the conference, shoot if they had a good QB past few seasons they woulda probably made it to Atlanta once or twice even. This team is a good team. Now whenever BBN starts supporting the football team like they do the basketball team, UK will be a top program for sure. 💯
I made the comment, above. It's huge for a guy to go 8-4 at UK - that's a huge season, considering who they have to play every year, and also knowing that in the greater context of sports at UK, basketball is the crown jewel while football gets the shaft. It'd be like Beamer going 7-5 on a consistent basis at my alma mater. For them to be 6-0, and rolling, only says how good of a coach he is. They'll probably get smoked by Georgia, but who's to say they can't go 10-2, and Stoops be nominated for Coach of the Year? What he's done at UK is tremendous, and hats off to him.

@@godlyhedge6403 Georgia will go undefeated this year, no doubt. My argument is snapshot vs. trends. It's no secret that UGA has been a heavyweight for years. UK, home of the blue blood basketball program has often gotten the shaft in football. Stoops has taken a bad football team and has churned out consistency, and it shows. My point is, by "keeps winning", less UGA, he'll be in the running. It's monumental to go 8-4 at UK, let alone start the season off 6-0, and in the top 25.
Even if he loses 1 or 2 games he deserves it

I grew up in Cincinnati and Kentucky football used to struggle to get one win. Man 6-0. Let's see how far this can go.

The reason why UK been one of the best rushing teams in the country past few seasons is because of their Offensive line. Congratulations to UK for a perfect game of blocking and running, wow, they won with basic almost flawless executions.
It almost sounds sarcastic with how simply UK dominated. The term 'The game is won in the trenches' definitely applies to this Kentucky team, totally controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I think the most surprising thing about it is that we just don't see 'great' consistent blocking unit like we sometimes do in the NFL.
TL;DR agreed, the OL & Front 7 of Kentucky is special.

To be fair, UK won because Emory made some pretty bad mistakes. Since the football defensive squad rarely gets any kind of praise because they intercept theirs for tds, I have to give credit where credit is due. To me, punt blocks and interceptions are luck. To really beat a team, it has to be a drive from an offense.

Kentucky shoulda beat Florida 2 of the last 3 games not including the beat down they gave the gators in the swamp back in 2018. 2 of the last few games Kentucky was up by double digits going into the 4th quarter on Florida to only let them come back and win. That was with a bad offense and no QB. Now Kentucky has a QB and an offense that is getting better passing the ball. We have always been top 2 or 3 in the conference in rushing, they just struggled passing the past few years. Alot of y'all don't wanna admit that this UK team is better. 💯 Y'all may have more depth but UK with it's starters are as talented as anybody, and they are winning alot of recruits especially stealing from LSU and Ohio St and Nabraska lol. This team is elite when they play good. They lose only whenever they beat themselves.
Win or lose Kentucky is going to play physical football. Georgia has a bigger challenge than they think

The biggest challenge is it is a battle of strength on strength in the trenches. Kentucky needs a passing game to keep Georgia off balance. The O/U should be in the low 30s.

I’m in Lexington. I’ve always supported uk football even in the joker Phillips era. It feels so good to see we’re doing much better I’m so proud of this team and how far we’ve come from those 2-10 seasons almost every year

I'm still shocked at Kentucky when they beat my Gators much less LSU.
Gators was making too mistakes and the coach was being to conservative that allowed Kentucky to stay around. They have to beat UGA in order for us to take them seriously as new contenders for the east. Also they have to beat UF at their house next yr.
@@mscooldeadly they mistakes Florida made was penalties in the red zone or on 3rd down and short and turn it into 3rd down and long and coach being conservative he had almost 400 yards in offense and Kentucky had 211 and they didn’t reach there red zone till the 3rd quarter if you take the block field goal for td away and our penalties away Florida easily wins by a couple of tds

@@moedudley2222 KY scored two offensive TDS against FL. Florida had time of possession and had plenty of chances to win the game. Florida is a good team and they have more depth at each position, just KY has a tough defense. And they just beat Florida I'm Gainesville In 2018. Was up on them by 2 scores going into the 4th quarter 2 of the last 3 games when KY didn't even have a passing game. They been the 3rd best team in the east 3 of the last five years. And second on the east 2 of the last 5 years.

LSU has one of the worst defenses if not the worst defense in the west. They seem to lack basic fundamental tackling even though they are a Division 1 program. They are terrible

I am a Kentucky fan, but I don’t think we will win. We will have to cause turnovers, and score off those. We need to play perfect defense and offense. Auburn has only won 1 championship since 2000 (recent history), LSU has 3 with 3 different coaches... they aren't comparable. But I see where you were trying to relate the two. The only problem with that analogy is... QB play hasn't been the major problem since Burrow & Brady left. Its been everything else, run game, o-line & defense since Aranda left.
I don't think Levis gets enough love for his Improvisation and quick thinking. That run was a busted play and he still turned it into 30+ yards. He's been doing things like that since the Missouri game.

Yet again another good team that’s going to lose to the Dawgs 😈 hopefully people won’t treat them the way they do every other team that loses to us 🙁 they lose to us and all the sudden everyone says they’re overrated or that they suck. It can never be UGA is just that good this year.

To all the people that doubted UK football suck on that BBN Win! Our offense is finally getting in tune, we can run the ball easier , we can also pass the ball easier this season compared to others. And our defense! They gave came a very very long way. Our team in general has came a long ways SINCE MARK STOOPS. If it wasn’t for stoops we wouldn’t have the UK team we have today.

Hey if you are a Cats fan dont be so negative. UK just might be peaking rite now. Plus Kentucky took care of the ball too. We beat a good LSU team they are not use to losing to Kentucky. The game is slowing down for Levis and he is using his legs to extend drives and punch it in. We Big Blue Nation have a chance as good as anybody to go to Athens and upset Georgia. Defense is real good and we saved some for Georgia offense and defense. Go Cats. Keep your head up alot of work to do. Also I want to give shout out to Smoke cause I know he played well. @@JAWS-fc7fn As a Georgia fan I’ve always liked Stoops and the style of football he’s brought to Kentucky. The problem is its very similar to Georgia’s style of football and it’s going to be very hard to beat Georgia at their own game. But it’s usually always a very physical matchup between the two.

Looking at this Kentucky team, I think whether they win next weekend or not they can end this season with only one loss and their best season possibly ever

I prolly am bias but I think we beating Georgia. Our defense is top in the country and our running game is amazing. We just ran for 300 yards tonight. I think we have the best chance against Georgia then any fo the teams they played this year. And once we beat Georgia. We better have a top 4 spot LOCKED
Bama lost to a 3-2 A&M. Anything is possible. Our Cats play like this UGA will be hard pressed to win
Difference is Alabama was on the road. Just as Kentucky. Not taking anything away from Kentucky. They look really good. But against UGA in Athens...I don't think Kentucky comes close to winning this game.

This also was only the second time this season our offense has shown up. UGA's has all year, aside from Clemson. I'm not going to say I think it will be a blowout, as long as the team that showed up today shows up in Athens

Kentucky has no defense but a nice offensive Line and a Heck of a QB with a Big play receiver #1. UGA has a elite defensive front 7 that is predicated on stopping the run and has a pass rush that will test Levis abilities. UGA has balance but explosive offense that will exploit Kentucky defense in every way possible. UGA wins this one going away 42-13
You do realize UK is #18 in total defense(#4 in the sec) and holding opponents to 17.5 points a game(thanks LSU)?
Liam Cohen is just now starting to open the playbook. I guarantee he has a whole section just for Georgia that we haven't seen at all. Just like the fake pitch to the tight end on these highlights. Liam is a master at forcing players to choose between 2 options, and that choice dictates the play.

He had two seasons at 5-7, one at like 10-3, and then it went down again, and now he is lucky because all the experienced players from the good teams left for the NFL when the pandemic hit.

My theory is that all the experienced players from good team left for the NFL draft during the pandemic. UK's players and other not so good teams stayed behind and they are playing against second and third strings of good teams.

LSU gashed the Cat defense way too much. LSU is a mediocre team. Unless adjustments are made, GA is going to crush them. Kentucky will have a good year (11-1 or 10-2) anyway.

Auburn's defense is very under average, their O line is laughable yet with some better QB and WR play and a few breaks today there could have been a different outcome. KU is better than Auburn, quite honestly they will be the best most physical team Georgia has played. Not to mention the Dawgs are always looking for the opportunity to CHOKE. This game is gonna be close, ya'll should have more confidence in your team, this is not your grandpa's Wildcat football.
