    The electric piano category on NUMA X PIANO is far beyond my expectation!! Even more noticable than its acoustic ones. And the effect adjustment is really easy to reach and tons of to select. Especially useful for electric piano!

    Thanks for going to the effort of creating a helpful video, it's appreciated! I think in your video, the Nord comes off as sounding more full and realistic, but respectfully, comparing more similar sounds, EQ'ed similarly might have been a better comparison. Still, a nice job, and I appreciated hearing a bit of Chick Corea's 'Spain'.

    Buongiorno a tutti. Saluti. Modesto 🎉

    I have a Numax with the cheaper keybed, its a little noisy buy it is easy to articulate with it and I like the piano sounds, the Nord has a harsh piano sound that I find a little irritating a nd the price on the Nords is ridiculous, I paid around 1500 dollars for the 88 key NumaX.

    I'm on the verge of buying the Electro 6d. I'm playing mainly worship music but also lots of other stuff with my cover band. Up until now I only played on fully weighted keybeds. But I noticed that my wrists start to hurt when I play for prolonged sessions.
    Would you still recommend the waterfall Keybed even tho I'm mainly a pianist?

    The Nord has a cheaper Fatar keybed and cost twice as much... but it's red so that makes up for it being a complete rip off.

      *Its called semi-weighted since its made for Organ playing... that's why they have an 88key one, have you ever heard of 88key keyboards? And yes it's red, only a casual would judge a keyboard on its color 😂 just say you can't afford one, casual.*

    I have a numa x piano gt. I recommend it to any pianist. the keyboard is great. nord has better pianos, but they are also great in numa. the electro has a nice drawbar and the organ is great. in numa, the sound itself is quite ok, but the modification that we have on the drawbar in the nord is missing. Having a numa, Nord Electro will soon be used by me mainly for the drawbar. I fell in love with these organs. if it wasn't for this price 😨

    @MaFaKeys Год назад +6

    some of your comparisons don’t make sense, as you do not have the sound settings the same. Lots of reverb on the Nord applied, none on the Studio Logic. I also disagree that the piano on the Nord sounds better, Studio Logic sounds more alistic to me.

    • @ispianist
      @ispianist  Год назад +3

      I used factory settings on both. Also if Numa sounds better to you is subjective. I own both. I definitely like the Numa better on the keys. But still like the nord piano better. I also own the Yamaha cp88. The CP88 is my favorite of all. But taste are subjective I guess. In my opinion de Numa sounds little bit electric since it is a hybrid tone. (Sample and modeling) Nord is 100% sample pianos just like the CP88.

      @@ispianist thanks for this video. I was thrown off because it seemed you played different musics on the different keyboards. For example you did a lot of arpeggia on the Numa, but more interesting harmonies on the Nord! Perhaps that was what the different keyboards inspired you to play (differently) - so that's interesting in itself. I have a Numa Compact 2x which I like, because it has so many pluses, the weight, the drawbars, the speakers, and aftertouch, for example. It's not the best at any one of those things, (except maybe speakers + weight) but for me, an aged rockstar sideman playing some gigs and sessions around town and a lot at home/studio, it's great! When I check new things out at Guitar Center, I do like the Numa X Piano's exciting EP's though!!

    the numa doesn't have any reverb on it , yet the nord does , not a very clever thing to do for acoustic piano comparasion ? why , hard to tell in these conditions !!!

      @@homestudiotutorials I honestly think studiologic needs to work better sampling these pianos. Lacks of realism and detail. But yeah next time I will not use any reverb at all. I did use some reverb on the Numa. I been trying to get a good sound of the Numa but is hard. The Nord sounds great out of the box.

      @@ispianisti can’t hear any reverb on the numa ! Only on the nord , you are saying the opposite ! Or maybe it is too low or something, but it doesn’t seem like a fair test , I have seen some reviews where they have a great sound coming out of the numa !! Bit strange that you don’t seem to like it , anyway thanks for the videos , I will see when I get one -)

      @@homestudiotutorials Sound is very subjective. I have played many grand acoustic pianos. I feel like the Numa does sound fake. It does have many mimics. I am not the only one who complains about it. The key action I have not complains. I think this is one of the best key actions in any digital pianos. Also I do really like the midi implementation and also the compact design. The material that Studiologic uses to make these keyboards are not joke. Seems very high quality but again I am not very fan of their internal sounds.

    Hey @ispianist, thanks for your videos about numa x piano gt, you're pretty much the only active person posting about it. I recently got the numa x piano gt and unfortunately I have several clicking black keys. It is not noticable over headphones, but the pedal is also pretty noisy. The most left white key (A0) is also clicking/making noise. Till today I accepted these downsides, because the action feels indeed very nice, but when I sat down today to play I noticed that G4 is also clicking and feeling different than other white keys - which is a no go for me. Did you experience the same? I will return this numa and keep distance from studiologic. This quality is not acceptable at this price. Unfortunately MP11SE's action design is also not durable and other "grand piano feel like" options are really limited. It seems Roland fp90x/rd-2000, yamaha p-515 are the only realiable one's quality wise but have different downsides. Would the Yamaha CP88 be a better option when thinking about reliability?

    • @ispianist

    Bonjour à tous !
    Sérieusement le nord donne des song de piano assez naturel et très proche de l'instrument acoustique !
    Mais, cela ne le rend pas obligatoirement meilleur car en terme de fonction le numa est pratiquement un studio et le clavier numa est beaucoup plus proche de l'acoustique que celui du nord !
    À chaque musicien de trouver le song qui va avec sa musique !
    Shalom shalom !
    Bonne suite sous la grâce du seigneur Jésus christ amen amen !

    The ‘piano’ in this Nord sounds nothing, at all, like a piano. It’s actually quite terrible! Honestly, Nord products are absurdly overpriced for what you actually get. The Numa piano sounds generally better. But in the upper midrange area of the keyboard the sound becomes very digital sounding. I can achieve far better sounds, and more variety and versatility, with my iPad Pro and all software based musical instrument Apps.
