I'm a figure skater, in my sport there is something called "edge pull" or "power pull" that makes it possible to generate speed using only one leg, but you won't ever hear a skater or coach refer to it as "up-unweighting" despite the idea of pushing of the edge to feel "floaty" and transfer the center of gravity being the same. Yes I suppose keeping terms separate makes sense since the biomechanics are also very unique in each case. Keeping the Japanese word for this instance also sounds very cool

中学時代に弱小バレー部のリベロでしたが、レシーブの反応が悪いのは恐怖心と運動神経の悪さと経験の少なさだと思っていました。
顧問の先生も練習を繰り返すだけで、なぜ上手くいかないのか、上手くいってる人は何をやっているのか教えてくれない(教えられない)ので闇雲に数をこなすだけでした。
20年ぶりに運動不足解消を兼ねてバレーを再開したら、スポーツって原理原則にもとづいた科学なんだと目から鱗でした。

スプリットステップの頭の高さを変えないって所一番参考になりました。バドミントンですが、球速変化じゃなくて高さを変えて相手の視界を上下に揺らすのが一番効果的だと言われるので。
テニスでコーチに「相手が打つ瞬間か直前に着地しないと遅い」と言われましたが理論を理解することで答えを得られました
また、左後方へのロブをフォアでスマッシュするためのヒントもいただきました

僕の特技は「言語化」なのかもしれないと、自負しています。
抜重は予測が困難な時に使う時が自分は多いです。
バドミントンの場合はそのような時が多いですし、歩数も
2〜3歩ぐらいの距離のため足からの跳ね返りの強さより、速い出だしを意識できる抜重を多様する事が多いです。
前にもリアクションステップと共に抜重の話でコメントさせて頂きましたがとても良い動画だと思います。
抜重、スプリットステップと合わせてパワーポジションの重要性も自分は考えています。

自分が考える最速の一歩は静・動について理解し、パワーポジションをとった中でのスプリットステップ・抜重を使う事が最速かと感じてるからです。
バドミントンで言いますと、打たれる瞬間完全なる静止ではなくプレイングセンターまで戻るスピードを調節し、打たれる際にプレイングセンターに到着し、スプリットステップ・抜重を使用した方が速いと感じています。
速く戻った方がゆっくり準備ができショットに対して備える事ができそうですが、それ以上に静止した状態があると動き出しに影響を与えていると考えています。
これは自分が考える一個人の意見でこの事についても追求して頂けると幸いです。

テニスのサーブリターンは、抜重だと難しいと漠然と感じてましたが、そういう事でしたか。
こういうものは、才能のある人の動きで、普通の人には出来ないのかと、以前は思っていましだ、きちんと分析して、練習すれば習得可能と分かり、楽しくなってきました。
今日、練習に行くので、楽しみです!
毎回、大変な力作で、制作に時間が掛かる事、よく分かります。

前回の抜重の動画で、抜重でパワーが出るという事を理解でき、ストロークやボレーに応用しています。
サンドバッグの例で、目で見て理解が出来、とても分かりやすかったです。
ショットに伸びが出て、人から以前と全然違うと言われます。
このチャンネルの良いところは、深く理解させてくれて、自分なりに応用まで持っていける、というところです。

目線を固定する利点とそのやり方なんかはかなりスポーツがうまい人しか会得してないものだと思います。イチロー選手も同じようなこと言ってました。
あと、こういうステップ自体がフェイントに利用できますよね。
メッシはステップしていても単純にそちらに動くことはせず、どれぐらい足に本格的に荷重を加えるかでも行先の調整をして、
相手DFが自分の体勢から行き先を予想していることを、逆にフェイントとして利用してる感じがします。

8:30のアリソン・ベッカー選手のスプリットステップですが、両足で着地せずに右足で着地して左にとびついています。着地する前にボールのコースがわかり、かつ着地までに余裕がある場合は、片足着地をするように指導したほうがいいのでしょうか。
おっしゃる通りです!
着地と同時にコースが分かるような状況だと、両足着地の直後に片足だけ抜重するような形になりますが、コースがもっと早めにわかった場合は、片足着地で、次の足は内側へ切り込むように使います。

質問なのですが、壁押しトレーニングのところで下半身や体幹をホールドする力というのは、スポーツ中の体がぶれない、体幹がしっかりしているというものにも繋がってくるのでしょうか。
リンダンというバドミントン選手がいるのですが、体のブレがなくとても簡単そうにプレイしていて今回のホールド力というものなのかなと疑問に思いました。
また、反発プランクでホールド力は体幹部分が増しますか?
はい!おっしゃるように、体がぶれない、体幹がしっかりしていることと大きく関係しています。
ホールド力は、本当に一瞬一瞬発揮するだけで、素速く、尚且つあまり力感なく動けるので、プレーも簡単そうに柔らかくなるんです。
収縮力で動く選手は、逆に動きがもっさりして、硬い動きになります。
反発プランクでは、体幹部のホールド力が上がりますので、怪我のないように気をつけつつも、一瞬で上に切り返せるよう意識して行ってみてください。
上手くできると、下から上へ切り返す瞬間だけ力が入って反発しますが、それ以外の部分はあまり力感なく動けるようになります。それが理想です。

子供達に抜重・膝抜きのやり方を『膝カックン』で教えてましたけど、いつの間にか『体重計乗ってて体重ガッと増やすアレ』になりました。行きたい方と反対の足をアレするんだよと。

4:22 一度両足着いてから右足を伸ばしているように見えるのですが、実際は右足はギリギリ着いていなく、左足だけで着地し、右足を遅れて伸ばしているのでしょうか?
このシーンでは、右足も着地しています。
着地していますが、着地した直後に抜重(抜き足)しているので、しっかり荷重はしていない形になります。
両足で着地するが、右足は軽く地面に触れるくらいのイメージで直ぐに抜重して右へ足を出す。
という感じになります。
状況によっては、完全に左足が先に着地して、その後の右足は外ではなく内側へ着地する移動の仕方もあります。
色々なタイミングで左右へ動き、さまざまなフットワークを自然に身につけるような練習方法もありますので、いつか紹介したいと思います。

@tatsu-life947 この動きは、片足の抜重は使いますが、「スプリットステップ」のくくりとして考えています。
この動きは、説明がかえってごちゃごちゃになるかと思い、説明を省いた部分でした。
僕が動画内で解説している、スプリットステップの後に、前後へ移動する時の「スプリットステップから抜重ステップ」と、この動きは違う分類にしています。
ややこしくて、言葉だけで説明するのは難しいのですが、
スプリットステップで左右へ動く時には、行きたい方向の足を抜重すると、ブレーキがかからずにスムーズに動けるようになりますので、そこまでを含めてスプリットステップのフットワークということになります。(4:22のシーンは、スプリットステップから抜重ステップをしているとは考えていません。)

もし、スプリットステップを絶妙なタイミングで行えたなら、片足着地になると考えています。
行きたい方向の足は地面に触れるくらいか、もしくは地面に触れずに内側へ(行きたい方向とは逆へ)動かして着地します。
ただ、スプリットステップはタイミングを合わせているとはいえ、完全にタイミングが合うわけではなく、やや早めに着地をすることが多いです。そのため、4:22のような形になることが多いと考えています。
