Ok so i am normally mostly a silent listener but i just haaave to say: The level of quality of your videos is off the fucking rails. It is so great. Everytime you upload a video i am so excited to see how you edited. And it i feel like everytime you just outdo your previous one. Gorgeos work and beauuutiful plants😍 keep up the good work💕
I really like the Hoya Compacta carnosa. I thought all hoyas are toxic but to find out they are not😁. It will be a joy to add to my collection along with the curly lipstick plant.
Congrats to you and Lydia!! I think 2023 is going to be a great year for The Green Plant and for both of your podcasts! Also, the “[long pause] Patches!” is such a mood 🤣🤣
Oh my gosh, I just watched your collab with Kaylee Ellen... Can you please do another one with her? PLEASE?! It was hilarious and amazing and the best videos I've seen on RUclips!!
Oh Adam I love so many Hoya as well and I am following her on Instagram since you said what it is there and I saw pictures of the two of you, I will be checking out all of the plants that she has, and I am so excited for your business endeavor, that is so exciting. I hope you have a wonderful New Year, I am hoping for 2023 to be a better year than 2022 was for me. Sending love and hugs, bye! 🥳🤗💚💜💜👍🤟✨🎉
Dude, you couldn't wait for another week.🤣🙃, I believe most of us are still recovering from XMas. You guys have more hoyas then we have here in Australia, and it is nearly impossible to import. Happy new year to you.
Omg so jealous of all those new hoyas!! What conditions do you keep your clemensiorum? I have my 2-leafer in Pon, high humidity and warmth in my grow tent, under barrina T5s and it still won't do anything :(
@@KnotDude oh no😭it was the Hoya that started the craze for me haha, luckily enough it’s done amazing in my care. They like a lot of light and a nice chunky mix. Hope you give her a second shot! I’m always willing to give tips lol, it’s just genuinely my favorite
You mentioned the plant from Indonesia and I think it’s named after the island of Aceh which is pronounced “ah-chay”. Check it out anyway because I could be wrong. It was an island that was hit by a tsunami. I hope you are not offended by me correcting your way of saying it. Thanks for sharing your interesting plants to watch out for this new year and look forward to seeing updates.
Yes! That is how you pronounce it. I did a reel on IG and pronounced it correctly there but clearly forgot when the camera was on me haha. I also pinned a comment that shows the correct pronunciation but thank you! Never offended when someone kindly corrects an error I make. ♥️
Is your cat named Pigeon? That would be so funny, considering I watch another RUclipsr who has a cat named Pigeon... If so, is that a reference to something? Because if it's a coincidence it would be just too much :) I have a splashy compacta that I propagated and about 50% of the single node cuttings held on to the splash so I think you shouldn't worry, you have plenty of nodes there.
Lovely plants. But "Hoya meredithii sp. Aceh" doesnt really make sense. "Sp. ______" is a provisional name we use denote a new/unidentified species when all we know about it is where it came from. So you can have "Hoya sp. Aceh" or "Pinguicula sp. Tehuacán," etc. There could be several different "sp. Aceh" plants, with nothing in common other than that they came from Aceh and are waiting to be identified or (if they are a new species) named. Once the species is identified as H. meredithii, it is no longer "sp. Aceh". If there are different forms of meredithii, we might say something like "Aceh form" to distinguish it.
Aceh (A - chay)
I said it right on my IG reel and clearly forgot while filming 🤦🏻♂️ Thank you.
\at͡ʃeh\ is the correct pronunciation. with a short è sound at the end.

Hoping to see updates on these 5. Hope you're doing great.
This is amazing!!! Congrats!!
Love the hair and the dark dense beard :)
Happy New Year
i was waiting for this.❤ 🥰
Hoya sigillatis sp. Aceh has been my favorite! Very big splashy leaves compared to sigillatis from Borneo.
I didn't have a sigillatis for too long and now I'm scared I'll kill all sigillatis 🥴

Miss your content!
What is the treatment for flat mites?
Are you guys able to ship to Canada?
I didn't know Jeff Goldbloom had a Hoya channel. Oh yeah, Hoyas are lots of fun but then there's yelling and screaming and dying. 😁

Aceh is the northern Provence of sumartra.....lots of mountainous jungle ...one of the last places to see wild orangutans....
Hi, great video!! I just listened to your podcast and learned that you are no longer a fan of leca... why? could you share your experience? thx😊
I look forward to all of these Hoyas being big ole trees by the end of the year lolol

There is a splashy variant of Hoya Compacta known as “Jodie’s Silver.”
Time for a update on these Hoyas 😅...I can't believe it's the end of the year😊😊
💚🌴💚🌴
🦋🦋🦋
It’s “Ah-Chey”. It’s in South East Asia!
It’s not normal for compacta to have splash?! Well well, I may give mine more attention from now on😅
Having splash is always a mutation BUT this specific Compacta only has splash ona small very specific part of the plant. Not all over the leaf.
@@KnotDude oh I see, yes you did say that!👍🏻
Can we see it up close on an Insta story perhaps? Pretty please!🙏🏻
I shall now refer to myself as Hanna "without the Aye-Cha" 😂 its just too fun to say!
🤣🤣 I actually was saying it incorrectly. It's more like Ahhh Chay. 🥴🥴
Here's to Flat Mite Deaths!
Lovely plants.

Thanks for this info. I was repeating the name it had when I was given it. I do think it makes more sense to write H. meredithii from Aceh.
😂2020 you paused and realized yeah none of us wants to relive dumpster fire year.
2020 😂
lol patches
She's always gotta take attention 🙄🤣
