From Unsolicited Plant Talks: "In our experience, plants like Hoya ‘Michelle’ also tend to develop oedema more than the other hoyas causing them to have small blisters that eventually turn to black spots on leaves. The spots are harmless and do not spread. No treatments are required as they are purely cosmetic."
I love 💕 your Hoyas collection James there gorgeous and plants behind you there beautiful definitely I need to buy more Hoyas to added to my collection after I see your vedio I get interested on Hoyas thanks for a great video ❤️
Stunning plants! What are your care tips for Nova Ghost and Crassipetiolata Splash? How close to grow lights? Does it get much humidity? I burned mine and trying to rehab it.
I just got a clemensiorum and it's such an amazing hoya. I am currently looking for hoya tanggamus. If you don't already have one it would be a great addition to your collection 😊
To your question about our favorite Hoya at the moment: I really love my Hoya macrophylla albomarginata because after I got it it put out a semi long stem and grew 2 giant new leaves 😍 they are almost twice the size of the leaves I got it with 🎀🥰 Your hoya collection is so nice 😍 very nice video 🎀
I enjoy watching the rain as well. The plants in the background are beautiful. I hope you do a houseplant tour and excited to see the new tent. Did you get rid of the old ones and get a bigger one?
Some more info on the AH 074 🤗: It is a carnosa sport that was then cultivated, so it is technically Hoya carnosa AH-074. There are also 2 different clones being cultivated: clone 1 (mostly silver, like yours) and clone 2 (has more green & more variation in the green & silver ratio on each leaf).
Splash variegated leaves and the silver leafed types are what is called “blister variegation”, where the air pockets develope under the top surface of the leaf, so when you scratch or scrape them, it disappears.
I love your videos and totally jealous of the rain. I miss that. We don't have rains in summer. The hoyas are to die for. This week, I finally got my carnosa Grey ghost. Love it, such a beautiful plant. Also got a cutting of Kalimantan.
The difference between the carnosa nova ghost and the grey ghost is that the nova ghost is a reverted form of Hoya carnosa argentea princess, whereas the grey ghost has always had the splash, but no variegation 💚
James my hoyas are outside in my backyard under 80 plus year maple tree. They are growing like weeds. Under stand about moving. My on suite is being rehab currently. Your plants are awesome. It is finally raining here in Ohio. My plants love rain water.
Unfortunately the hoya in my collection I love the most also happen to be the bane of my existence 😵💫 Super sensitive to overwatering, the hoya loyceandrewsiana & the hoya waymaniae Borneo. Thank you for not editing out getting distracted 😆
Funny, after having weeks of great weather, I'm watching this with lightning and thunder outside.. It's great getting some moist to the dirt now tho.. It was a high fire risk this last week.
Hi there love the video have most of silver hoyas not the ngg yet the sulawesiana i got finally but... For months i had been looking for hoya aspar not sure you know this i didnt lol its now name changed to sulawesiana if you research aspar it becomes beautiful and purple
Omg i wish it was raining here lol!!! Its over 100F every single day 😵 (Northern California) As for Hoya Ive been loving lately, nothing rare or too special, but Ive been wanting another Krimson Princess bc they are just so pretty and sun stress w such a beautiful color!
I’m in southern Ca. It’s 100 here too. Still keep my Hoya outside in the shade and they love it. Bring them in when temp drop in the fall. Mine are more common ones too but I am really attached to them. Had lots of blooms this year
Those pink spots are just from high light exposure. I’ve read that from several credible sources. And notice it on my lawyer that gets a lot of light.I will try to dig up the sources later.

I have purchased a crassiopetiolata splash..what is the optimum growing conditions? Does it prefer chunky soil or ..it came in Coco chips?.
Updated hoya collection please. 😍
You had very beautiful house plants collection .

That michele is soooooo handsome ❤❤❤
how you mix your Hoya potting
Those pink spots are just from high light exposure. I’ve read that from several credible sources. And notice it on my lawyer that gets a lot of light.I will try to dig up the sources later.
what do you have them planted in Please?
🌷
잘생겼다😍
Some Hoyas will get spots like that from high humidity. Doesn’t harm the plant at all.
Nice hoyas.
The spots on the michele might be edema from irregular watering? If some feel like blisters then it most likely is!
That monstera is so beautiful. I wish a generous soul out there would give me one as a gift. It would be make my soul dance all day 🛐
*gasp* thunder
