@@michaelriera6277 ew. The gringa mission statement is explicitly that we are the opposite of hodinkee. So that means I now have to make an entire tag video!
Hey, what do you think about the new IWC Mark XX blue dial? It has 120 hours of power reserve and an in-house movement. It’s a great “top” daily watch in my opinion, although it would be difficult to wear it daily in Mexico City where I live. That watch can be bought with some serious discounts from ADs. With 15-20% you will end paying around 3,800-4,000 £. All best Brit.

Then I started to searching things, watching yt, ig and anything possible. Now, when Gringa aprroved mine beautiful love and choice I can peacefully save my money to buy it! Uff 🤣
Great content. Personally for me the 1-2k price point is the sweet spot. I’m a massive Oris fan, but you can’t go wrong with Sinn, C Ward, Junghans, Longines, and even Rado.
My the whole watch thing has blown up since Covid. I got back into watches about 3 years ago. I'm happy to see so many people get excited over something mechanical.
Great vid (as always) and some good choices. I would throw in some more: Hamilton Intra-Matic Chronos, Weiss Feild Watches, Sinn (104 for me), Anordain, and perhaps some of the Seiko Presages, especially the Arita enamel dials.
I feel Longines doesn't get enough love. I just recently bought a Conquest and find myself reaching for it daily vs my other watches like my Tudor. It's a such a pretty sporty watch IMO. Love the video!
So...I'm in Healthcare, so for the past year and a half, I've isolated myself from existence. In doing so, I've cycled through every hobby, pastime etc. I could find on RUclips...I've ended up collecting custom made pocket knives, hand forged bushcraft knives, tried to figure out wtf is Warhammer 40k and why people like it (I'm now an expert on 40k Lore without purchasing anything, and still don't know why people spend money on it), I've learned how to weave and make a thousand knots and patterns with paracord, the best way to get wine and juice stains out of waxed flooring is to pour milk on it, and now, the past 2 months, watches. This past month alone, I've purchased 8 watches, 2 as gifts to ease my buyers guilt, and about 36 different straps, from NATO styles to exotic ones made from everything, if I could find a strap made from juja berry stained pelican throat hide, I'd probably buy it. The worse thing is...there is no end in sight. With knives, it was collecting the various lock mechanisms, opening mechanisms, scale materials etc. but, as I don't see them as a fashion item, practicality stepped in and said 'you already have one for that function'. I need help. I'm on every microbrand shortlist for new releases or re-stocking. AliExpress doesn't do it for me...I'm into the hard stuff now. To avoid Ebay issues, I force myself to being limited on giving Auction advise to Sellers on the pieces I want for myself...just to release the pressure. JOMO and Delray scare the Hell out of me...I almost bought an entire tray of Serviced but not Picked Up watches at my closest B&M...just because. I may have to get someone to lock me out of internet before Zelos re-stocks...Is there a number I can call about this? I'm a sick man.
I like gringa for making fun of the watch snobs. Best line “Tudor is for those that can’t afford Rolex…get over yourself.” You said it sister a lot of punters in this hobby need to get over themselves.
Hamilton, the field Titanium is probably my next watch. The Navy Field Watch is adorable, comes in fun colors. If you want a Cartier Tank and don't have the money, Hamilton has you covered in the American classic series
Ahhh, these are among my favourite videos to MAKE! I feel like I could do like 10 of these, with the exact same title, and never run out of watches to talk about!
It never ceases to amaze me how this hobby makes a $2000 purchase affordable. I remember the days when I was eating ramen and microwave pizza, working a crap job for crap money and I never miss an opportunity to stop and look back at how things have changed, and nothing does that better than when the thought crosses my mind "its only $3500! Not bad!". Not bad indeed.
LOL IT'S SOOOO TRUE! Honestly, you start to go a little crazy in watch collecting. I've had people commenting on this saying, "Finally a video for broke people".... And I thought about it and was like "HOW IS £2K ON A WATCH A BROKE MANS WATCH?!?!?!" Honestly. Weird stuff happens when you enter watch fam eh!
@@BrittPearceWatches Or people calling a $5000 watch a "beater" when they really mean daily wear. Most people would consider spending over $1000 on a watch as madness.
I enjoy this content because I really do find some "luxury" watches interesting (and I consider anything over about a grand in USD to be a luxury watch). But the truly esoteric brands with "unique" design language and unpronounceable names don't interest me at all. The price range under consideration here (~2000 GBP) is nowhere near justifiable in my world as it doubles the tipping point price into luxury. The value proposition for a wrist watch drops off precipitously at about 300 USD. I'd no sooner pay two grand for a watch than I'd pay $100 for a screwdriver.
@@rangersmith4652 I know, I've seen you around. You absolutely have a point there, one thing I noticed after buying my first luxury watch (using your standard) is yes its nice, its still just a watch. The interesting thing was the more I wore it the more details I noticed and its never let me down. BUT after buying that (Aquis) and then getting a BB36 next, I found that my 2nd favorite watch behind the Aquis is an $80 Orient Tri-star. I love it I really do, can't explain why. That watch gives me 99% of the joy as the Aquis does but for 1/20th of the price. Price does not make a watch better to its owner. That being said I do recommend checking out some of these watches (Oris, Tudor, Omega, attainable watches) in person and you may change your mind. The quality is very different but its hard to explain unless its on your wrist. At the end of the day this hobby really shouldn't be about money it should be about your enjoyment of the watches and a high retail price does not always make a watch more enjoyable, it may give you better chance of it but not always.
@@Nefville I've got a couple of Tri-stars; they provide immense value and so much variety! I agree, obviously, that how much one pays for a watch is not the #1 factor in how much one will enjoy wearing it. ATM I'm wearing a $300 Eco-Drive titanium chronograph that is _the bomb_ of a watch. If I ever did pay $2000 for a watch, I don't know if I'd be able to wear if without being just a little paranoid, not about scratching it, but having someone be a little too interested in it.

Well seiko for a start. Rado is another fab brand. Glycine offers great value for money too. Tissot and roamer, certina , sinn, monta, alpina, tag heuer, zodiac, crepas, fortis, I could go on all day.
the Sub 2500$ pricepoint has soo many choices like Sinn and all that you should make part 2 ,3 ,4 ... basically we just need more Watch Gringa Videos/Content !!
My recommendation is any Oris Aquis with a sellita movement. The dial finishing is amazing and the bracelet is another level. Also get the 39.5 mm as they fit everyone.
Great video again. What do you think about the Horage collection of watches with their low priced tourbillon? Would like to see a video about that piece or their watches in general. Get well soon. 😊
Some great choices Gringa. I have to agree with Longines, the brand is definitely on the way up and your choices within the brand make sense. Given there are many items within the £2K price range you could make a whole video on those alone. My preferences would include the silver sector dial and Tuxedo and if nudging the price up the BigEye. The BB36 is definitely a good recommendation as well. Nice one!
Ahhh thank you! HONESTLY, I could have made an entire longines video! 😂👏🏻 I tried my best to do less obvious ones that don’t get as much air time. Tuxedo is absolutely CLASSSS!
You said Glashütte perfectly. English/American/Canadian people usually say Glash-huette which is wrong. Glas-Huette is perfect, you nailed it! You don't at all say S at the end of Longines though. Great picks, loved it!

The Longines Heritage Flagship ; 1675 $ retail. Great mid century modern design.2892 Top grade ETA. mvmt. 38.5 mm. super thin case.Great watch for money.
The Oris aquis is definitely the one to beat, like if you compare it to the longine , the aquis a way better quality,. The longine doesn't even have screw in bracelet
You gotta love Oris! They make really cool stuff. I bought an Oris Chronoris Movember (yup long name) and I really love it more and more every day! PS love your videos!
I bought a brand new Omega Seamaster three years ago for £2400 just before they discontinued it . And bought out a new model . It seems a few years back watches were so much cheaper can remember 2017 the Omega Seamaster Midsize 36mm quartz was £1500 in the AD.seems everything hyped up ! Really like your choices.
Another great video Brit! For me the best value for quality under £2000 watch brand has to be Christopher Ward, the quality of their watches is top notch, always around half the price of an equivalent Oris or tag etc with the same movements! I also love what they are doing with their biodegradable packaging and environmental projects.
Nice to see something other then Rollie and Omega, but yea had to slip in the Tudor! But your cute so you get a pass, LOL. I think you should check out some of the larger micro brands like Christopher Ward, Zelos, and NTH. I've seen some amazing watches coming out of microbrands over the past few years. If I see one more video about the Speedy or the OP, I think I'll hang my head and cry....not generally a good look for a guy! Stay real, your doing great stuff here. Best regards, Mike
Ball Watches are also super awesome. The Engineer III has a 12,000 Gauss magnetic resistance, uses 904L steel, Tritium lume, and they're starting to make inhouse movements.
@@BrittPearceWatches Yeah, a lot of people sleep on Ball and I don't understand why. Their watches tick so many boxes and have lovely and distinct styling. IMO I like them much better than pretty much anything in that $2-3k territory. Maybe the issue is they're in just such a weird price point where folks either want cheaper or just save up for something in the $4-5k territory?
Great video, but I think you can try to go out of the box and include brands like TAG, Sinn, Rado, Doxa, Zodiac, etc. The market is full of great options for that budget, IMHO
Fantastic list and that Oris 65 is what I'd personally pick, it's beautiful. I love the momotaro and the honey dial versions. Absolutely stunning. The Nomos with the olive green dial was stunning too.
How do those zippers on the sleeves of that jacket not give you anxiety! One of the first questions I ask myself before buying a jacket is....."will this scratch my watch" :p
Longines conquest for women.... Tudor BB Héritage 36 mm for the graduation day of my daughter, black, Silver, or Blue? Tudor BB in olive green, a dream?
Omg the BB 36 is a class present darling! All I got was a handshake and my dad almost looked me in the eyes. 😜😂 I think the black is the most timeless personally! Silver is so different tho! 😱
Whenever this price point comes up, and it does alot, at £2000 you're well into vintage Seamaster territory, Chrono's GMT's and Bond ones, at two grand all the other brands fall away because you might as well go pre owned lux brands. For instance on Chrono now theres a 2007 as new black, full size Seamaster GMT Professional for £2000, and second hand Speedmasters start at fifteen hundred, this pushes the amount Im willing to spend on an Oris or Longines (huge fan) down to the £1000 mark, apart from the Big Eye which is the best value chrono in Switzerland. .....No troll just saying.......oh and may I suggest less shirt and more Watch Pappy?
Nomos is interesting choice. Quality horology coming from Glashutte. I didnt know Bulova owns Longines (pron.Long -jeans in iceland.. lol) until after your vlog. Good job.
Good observations your Gringressness. You should review different price ranges - I like a lot of Swedish brands, the white dial on the Lilienthal chronograph is fantastic too. Love the Biker Chic look - were you perchance in that 1971 classic film 'dirt bike bangers'? Slick editing on your contributions too. Keep it up.
Ahhhhh it could be really fun to do a venture into Swedish watches! 😱 I actually don’t know all that much about them so it would be a fun little project! Thank you sooo much for this gorgeous comment! ❤️❤️❤️

I totally love the Oris Big Crown, but I really want it to have a 100m water resistance, so I can wear it as a less obvious travel watch. I mean, if Glycine could do it with one of my favourite affordable watches, the Incursore, with the manual wind and the California dial. As for Longines, I can only limit myself to say, 5 or 6 models!
Great vid and digging the “shaft” style soundtrack lol. 2 grand bag retail, I’d also slip in rado, Fortis and sinn into the mix for a little difference

I've started looking into Seikos as well. I've realized the value retention is surprisingly high. If you already have Rolexes and Omegas, iconic Seiko models are good watches to add to the collection.
@@BrittPearceWatches one tip, don't get scared by the listed case size measurements. They fit small . you subract like 2-3mm off the listed case size to get actual fit.lol. it's like buying clothes from Japan , you need to go up 1 or even 2 sizes.
@@BrittPearceWatches absolutely agree! Before I discover other brands, most of mine favourite ones were from Longines. There's probably only one which looks beautiful, but I think it doesn't suit me - The Sector.
A funny thing when buying a dear watch it tells the time nearly as good as a cheap watch and no maintenance like a dear watch needs .A brilliant watch should cost about $20
Its a shame that you can only see a Tudor that has Black Bay in the title. perhaps you could change the title to Best Watches AROUND £2000 plus or minus. Yet you could have recognized the wonderful 1926 Collection, or the Royal collection in the smaller sizes.

YUP!! Things WERE so much cheaper and available weren’t they?!?!
Another great video Brit! For me the best value for quality under £2000 watch brand has to be Christopher Ward, the quality of their watches is top notch, always around half the price of an equivalent Oris or tag etc with the same movements! I also love what they are doing with their biodegradable packaging and environmental projects.
Ps feel well soon
I hate myself for forgetting C Wardy! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
BALL. HOW THE HECK DID I MISS BALL?!?!?!
Ahhh SOOOO GOOD! I feel like I could have done this whole list with JUST ORIS, and it would have been dope!
@@BrittPearceWatches absolutely, they've got an amazing selection
Great choices. I’d be happy to have (almost) any of ‘em!
Rock on.
You look great! I couldn't tell you were not feeling well.
Awesome list! I love Oris. The BB36 is also a lovely watch. 🥰
Ahhh you are too kind! Thank you so much eve!! ❤️✨✨
I know you have a lot of love for the Oris Divers, but what do you think of their pilot watches? Like the Big Crown Pointer Date?
I NEAAAARLY put in the Big Crown Pointer Date! I feel like I could make a whoooooole nother video with everyones suggestions!
How do those zippers on the sleeves of that jacket not give you anxiety! One of the first questions I ask myself before buying a jacket is....."will this scratch my watch" :p
Bahahah living life on the wild side! 😜😂 ….. well it’s more that it’s an old jacket that I got long before my interest in watches.
@@BrittPearceWatches haha it's a cool jacket 😎 but yeah I watch ur video and almost had a panic attack since u talk with ur hands ......occasionally 😅
Good subject/content well researched, opportunity for similar video on the micro brands, a much overlooked area with some real quality/value
Can we get an amen?! I have a script all written up for micro brands... But first: ON SUNDAY, Reviewing Studio Underd0g Watermel0n! ;)
Gringa, Here's a challenge: Do a "Top 10 watches under $300 that are not a Casio" video. Can you even touch such a watch without feeling repulsed?
The Hamilton Intramatic Auto Chrono is a beauty in that price range.
OH GET IN! How did I NOT MENTION HAMMY?!?!
😂😂😂 THATS a sound suggestion 🙌🏽
@@watchpapi Cheers bud.
Everything in this comment is perfect! 😱👏🏻 YAS YAS YAS! And less shirt more papi… I can make that happen! 😂
@@BrittPearceWatches 😁

I think Tudor has turned more into ‘the watch people get because they’re stuck on a Rolex waitlist’ brand. Still love Tudor as it’s own thing though
Nomos is interesting choice. Quality horology coming from Glashutte. I didnt know Bulova owns Longines (pron.Long -jeans in iceland.. lol) until after your vlog. Good job.
Right?! I've got a bit of a thing for Nomos! ;) Cool little pieces aren't they?!
Cracking vid Brit. I see the beloved Tudor snuck in there 🤣🤣 . Here's one for you . Blume & mercier clasima duel time 40mm, Cracking watch with a whistle and flute ! 💙
Bahaha, I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF. I'm just a Rolex/Tudor fangirl..... OUUUUSH, I feel like I could make a WHOLE NOTHER ONE OF THESE with all the amazing watch suggestions that are coming in! .... hell, I could probably make another like, 5 of these lol.
Sinn has some great pieces in this price bracket.
The 556 is a solid daily choice
I honestly don’t know how I missed Sinn out in this list! 😱🤦🏻♀️
Great vid and digging the “shaft” style soundtrack lol.
2 grand bag retail, I’d also slip in rado, Fortis and sinn into the mix for a little difference
Bahahah! I was feeling very funky this week in my editing! 😜
Ouuuu and you’re sooo right with these suggestions! How on earth did I forget Sinn?!??
@@BrittPearceWatches 🤣👍, I’ve got a sinn U50 itch I need to scratch myself. Bought my good lady a rado captain cook 37mm white dial/bezel and she loves it. For me it was a watch I used to deflect the fact I landed the explorer 1 just before Christmas, worked a treat 😂😂😂
Throw in Baume & Mercier, Eterna, Tag Heuer, Junghans, Meistersinger and Richard Mille in a few years.
OH GET IN! Yassss! And as for Richard Mille 🤑 we shall see! 😂🙈
I've started looking into Seikos as well. I've realized the value retention is surprisingly high. If you already have Rolexes and Omegas, iconic Seiko models are good watches to add to the collection.
Ouuu! I’ve been considering dabbling into the Seiko world! 😱 it feels like a whole other watch sub culture unto itself!
@@BrittPearceWatches one tip, don't get scared by the listed case size measurements. They fit small . you subract like 2-3mm off the listed case size to get actual fit.lol. it's like buying clothes from Japan , you need to go up 1 or even 2 sizes.
This is my upper limit. If I had to go higher, it would be a GS.
Sick, but still competent and humorous 😁
That's classy and excellent job! 👍🏻
Oh yeah, Longines Master is so beautiful, especially blue dial version 😍
Ahhh thank you soo much! I'm so glad you enjoyed. And you know, Longines is beyond underrated! They have so many fantastic pieces out there!
@@BrittPearceWatches absolutely agree! Before I discover other brands, most of mine favourite ones were from Longines. There's probably only one which looks beautiful, but I think it doesn't suit me - The Sector.
The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date is a great watch for around £1,250 or so!
OUSH! A fantastic choice!
Always a pleasure your vids👍🏾 good choices. Are You going to the London watch show?
Get Gringaa to 10K 🙌
Ahhhh LUUUUKE!!! Thank you!!!! I am honestly going to faint if I make it to 10K subscribers! Omg. Bigger than my wildest dreams!
Let’s GO!!!!!!
I prefer the Oris Aquis SW200 version over the Calibre 400, less expensive and same vibes, bang for the buck
Very well said! 😱 I approve this message!
Love love love Longines. I get a little nervous and paranoid about seeing the Daytona with the zipper on your jacket sleeve
LIVING ON THE FOOOOOKING EDGE INNIT. ;)
@@BrittPearceWatches LOL. Indeed ;)
Wait, where is the intro music... para paa pa para? You know... the Gringa music :)
Oh and Longines, get in.
I thought I'd mix it up and no one would notice..... ;) BUT THE REAL ONES KNOOOOW
Good choices especially the Longines Spirit.
I think that one was my particular favourite as well! Longines Spirit & Nomos Club.
remember that one time in high-school, neither do l.
As always baby girl , love your videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed. X
The Oris Aquis is available in 39,50mm too. :)
BAHAHA! Papi said the same!! I need to get better at communicating! 😂🤦🏻♀️❤️
Britt! You are too kind… the offer is there for a loan when ever you are ready! Also there might be an aquis 36mm for you to have a play with 😬
MARKS WATCHES IN THE HOUUUUSE! ❤️✨✨✨✨ oh STAHP!!!! I would absolutely LOVE a wee loan! 😱 THE CONTENT I COULD MAAAAAAKE!
Monta have good watches as well. As do Baume and Mercier
Love your channel and reviews. Beautiful blue eyes BTW!
Oh thank you sooo much! 😱❤️✨
A funny thing when buying a dear watch it tells the time nearly as good as a cheap watch and no maintenance like a dear watch needs .A brilliant watch should cost about $20
It's sooo true!
It's Casio time matey!
Hi Gringa, thanks for a cool video on more affordable quality watches. I really liked your picks in the mid-tier range. Nice work Gringa, Get In!
GET IN. ;) Thank you soo much darling! Glad you enjoyed.
Nice choices Gringa.
Ouuuu thank you! 😍❤️
Recommends, is that Canadian foe recommendations? It is a lot shorter I will concede that.
Foe sho’
BAHAHA omg it must be a Canadian thing! I thought “recommends” was a popular turn. Of phrase! 😂🙈🇨🇦
Imagine Tudor hiring Hodor for an ad where he keeps saying Tudor all the time while fighting zombies
😂😂😂
PIROUKA IN THE HOUSE!
HODOR X TUDOR COLLAB
Baume et Mercier is a great buy at around 2k
OH a fantastic option!
Its a shame that you can only see a Tudor that has Black Bay in the title. perhaps you could change the title to Best Watches AROUND £2000 plus or minus. Yet you could have recognized the wonderful 1926 Collection, or the Royal collection in the smaller sizes.
Probably the most stylish "sick" person on RUclips. Leather jacket on point 😎
P.s. You show a Nomos next to a Lange.. 🤨 that's like a Fiat next to Lamborghini. 👆 No Go!
Bahaha, it's amazing what good clothes can over compensate for. ;)
@@BrittPearceWatches see, that's why watch papi is my dawg 🤷🏻♂️ He knows whats up. And sneaky kiss for you 😉 because Lange rules 👌

Ahhh thank you sooo much!
Great videos......if I may, pronounce Longine, loose the final S !
Get well soon Brittany! xx
Come on Gringa, go for the Oris 65 in pink
I recieved at christmas The Oris Aquis Hangang édition, Green, my everyday watch, ansome
AHHH SOOOO GOOD! Who knows. Maybe I'll receive one as a Christmas present. ;)
Christopher ward does some great watches in this price range
How do I always forget Christopher ward?!?! It’s sooo true. A fantastic brand.
Agree about the Spirit.
what do you think of Zodiac watches?
Are Sinn watches good?
Yes! They absolutely are and I hate myself for not mentioning them! 😂🤦🏻♀️
i love the tudor 1926, also under £2000 ;)
OH GET IN! 💪🏼
You missed the Casio F-91w ! A godtier watch for 19,95 at pride n pinion 😉.
WHAT AN ABSOLUTE MUPPPPPPPET I AM. ;)
@@BrittPearceWatches agreed 🤣😂😂🤣🤣😘
Rado Captain Cook, Certina ds ph200m ? Cool video cool jacket cool lady ....
Ahhh SO GOOD! Top suggestions! 😱👏🏻 and thank you ever so much!
Love Nomos. The club campus is great I love it. My most expensive watch cause I’m one of the poors
