It sucks that injuries are a part of sports. Cause every team in sports can play the "What if" question if their top player did not get hurt. But it is always an opportunity for another player to show his or her skill set. Thats why you have to stay ready and prepared. This is an opportunity for Zach Wilson to show that he improved from last season. Brock Purdy is a great example of stepping up when your chance comes.

    • @robertriteman3227

I hold a similar view ( not a Jets fan or hater) as the team on paper has a great defence and many skill players . Wilson is younger than than Brock and had less starting experience at the College level ( and against lesser college teams) so perhaps he can do the same as Purdy has done . I do not judge him by the first two years due to the circumstances he was given ( a coach on his way out then a coach in his first year and other related matters )

The Jets Superbowl hopes might be ruined, but at least Rodgers can still walk/breathe/etc. I'd put the Darryl Stingley injury about 1000x higher on the list of "most devastating injuries in NFL history" compared to this...
