- Aaron Rodgers' tenure as a New York Jet lasted all of 2 minutes. Only took 4 snaps for the o-line to get him injured and he's done for the season. An incredible feat really. It was fun while it lasted I guess.

As a 40+ year diligent Dolphins fan, I never thought I would spend so much time watching and loving a NY Jets RUclips channel! These guys are fantastic. They give so much to all football fans across the AFC East! Losing Rodgers like that was cruel though, even for the Jets.

At this point, I feel absolutely terrible for you guys. I may have said all offseason that the Jets would disappoint their fans and miss the playoffs once again (with a 9-8 record), but NOT like this.

I’m a die hard Packers fan. I have followed Rodgers since draft day. I can tell every Jets fan out there. It’s not over. He’s an extremely hard headed individual(in a good way). He will definitely be back. I can guarantee that. At 40 it’s impossible to predict how mobile he will be but I would assume the Jets will spend a ton on the O line. So it’s not over Jets fans. He’s probably more motivated to win now than ever.

At 40 coming off an injury you’re saying impossible to predict how mobile he’ll be?? I think that ones pretty easy to predict 😂
You may know Rodgers but (and no offense) you do not know the Jets! As a longtime Dolphins fan I know these clowns and they are not in the habit of employing sound, strategic operations. If they were, they would have had brought in a solid offensive line to front Rodgers as soon as he got to NY! That's just one example. As of April 2024 (just prior to the draft), they have made some good additions to their OL but will this be enough. Incredibly Nathaniel Hackett remains their OC. Robert Saleh looked totally lost and disinterested following Rodgers collapse last year.
It's going to take a lot more to get the Jets going in a positive direction. But I do agree that Rodgers could be the guy to come back at age 40 and still do something. He played every game for GB in 2022 and had an off year that most starting QBs in the league would salivate to have. As long as his wingnut persona doesn't get the better of him on the field, he could still do something. Question is, can the Jets help him out?
We will only ever know pain. We are devils playthings. Even in a great victory. We are defeated. We just went from superbowl contenders to fringe wildcard. Kill me. This is the place where hope is only a pre-tense to pain.

All to blame on Joe Douglas and the FO. This could’ve been avoided, the Oline sucked before the season and nothing was done about it. The Oline sucked so bad that Zack almost joined AR. He was running for his life.

From the “Im afraid of this line” on the first play, to the let’s go baby that’s what I’m talking about for a under 20 yard run, to the sure heart attacks of every jets fans when they see him go down a minute into his time in New York. I know it’s messed up what happened to rogers but this may be my favorite nfl video right next to the video of the fan reactions to atl vs the patriots Super Bowl as the most delicious nfl video to watch.

The problem is opposing defenses know their o line sucks so they jump the quick routes knowing that in all likelihood the QB has no time to let longer routes develop. Luckily ZW is more mobile than Rodgers.
