Placing trust on a 40-year QB is a risky business. 2024 should be interesting.
In the years of old, yeah. Not anymore. Brady could have kept playing if he wanted to. He obviously lost the drive. Aaron still has the drive and the 1 year because of the injury could turn out being the best thing that could have happened to his longevity.

My heart breaks for Zach… the way his tenure was handled from the get go was a mess. 😢 he deserves better. He’s grown a lot and didn’t get a fair shot to show his skills. He had no protection a lot of the time and was put through the ringer with regime changes, system changes, o line was never healthy.
It takes a mental toll to go from starter, to backup, to starter again, to backup to second string, to starter, to third string, to starter again. No consistency for this kid. And under the spotlight of NY media

Jets don’t need him to be mvp Aaron. They will be run heavy with breece next season and with Aaron + better o line breece will be more dominant. Most of the defense is returning. Run game + top 3-5 defense all Aaron’s needs is manage the game and come through in clutch moments if needed which he can do
