This was very cool to see behind the scenes. JD seems so cool under pressure. I may disagree with a couple of decisions, but I feel good with him running our drafts! Seems like a smart man with a cool head on his shoulders

@@joedimaggio3687 to be fair with JD most of the guys unfortunately haven't been able to stay healthy. We would have made the playoffs in 22-23 if Breece and AVT stayed healthy.
@@jakebuchsbaum3348 His big mistake is not getting a QB to pair up with every other great move he's made. It's derailed it all. But other than that it's all been injuries that have been heaped on top of horrific QB play. If people can't tell how good he's been in his _decision making_ and finesse moving around the board and recreating this whole franchise, they're just not paying attention.
Look at cardinal's new GM compared to this one. They have a video up too. It's night and day. Makes us look like amateurs

Amazing episode. The long car ride with Jon Carr showed how much talent and passion exists in this organization and I just loved the long take of him getting to his car and driving to work. Of course, being in the Draft Room was really insightful to see...the calm fury and the level of preparation...also so good to see how excited JD was to land his guys in Olu and Malachi. He really loved the picks. Such a great episode, well done!
Love to see the staff so locked in and serious. I appreciate the professionalism of everyone involved in our draft process. I have confidence our management. It's great to see the joy from JD when he said, "Let's call Olu". Love the passion! Go Jets!

JD is the best GM we’ve had in my lifetime. However it’s worked out with injuries and stuff, the guy has the right idea.

It's so cool to see a guy getting drafted. Actually brings a tear to your eyes. To see a young man's life change right in front of us is so exciting. The smile on his face says it all. Good for him! Hopefully he makes the most of this chance to be an NFL player. The Jets made a great pick with Olu Fashanu. Joe Douglas seems to be the right man for the job. No stupid pick like Atlanta made.

The 8 and 10 statement by JD could be referring that prior draft night Minnesota wanted the 8th pick (ATL) from the tampering issue . Then at 23 they would want to climb up to 10th pick (NYJ) and we slide down etc

Best time of year for us Jests fans is Valentines day to Labor day. This was great. 2023 & 2024 have been the best. 4 months left in the season, then after that looking forward to Valentines day 2025.
I was expecting the room to be like “oh shit dayymmmmm” when Atlanta picked penix but that didn’t happen haha
So pumped on this draft class. Couldn't ask for a higher character class

Falcons screwed the Jets out of Rome but OL was the bigger need and people will be shocked by Olu he is a dominated pass blocker we all begged for before Aaron went down for the count and Corley the sleeper of the WR class he will be used a ton in the short/med passing game... I can't wait for the season to start nice draft

Olu is a stud and a foundational pick.

Olu was the smart pick, don’t take any chances with your OL with Aaron Rodgers playing. Expect Tyron Smith to miss a few games too.

Last year left tackle Orlando Brown Jr took less money to sign with the Bengals. The Jets spent that money on a running back and five snaps is where it got their offense. A wise man learns from others' mistakes. A Jet learns from his own. I really loved Hard Knocks and these videos get me pumped. The first game ended on the play of the year! What could have been... damn what a shame for Aaron and the NFL.
Rich Eisen went out of his way to promote a revolutionary NFL production that followed last year's Cowboys draft room. The Jets are capable of learning from the success of others.

They edited out the reactions to Atlanta and Chicago, they definitely wanted Odunze. Probably wanted to trade up with ATL. There weren’t that excited as they usually are when they picked and why they were so desperate to trade up to get Corley.

Why would any team hire Douglas? The guy has been GM for the Jets for 5 seasons and has yet made the playoffs. The Jets have not even had 1 winning season under Douglas.

We really need this team to make playoffs and get a win to save the management ..... would be a shames to see JD and SAlah fired but I understand why they would if we don't make it to post season .

I love the jets these guys will never learn . You have an offensive tackle as your GM. do you think he has any idea about the West Coast offense, or the understating corner technique. Or scheme adjustments mid game. Or finding players that have talent in the fifth round. I mean these jets are just always in a mind fuck. And as fan we are to.
