YES, I've been checking your channel daily anticipating this video! nice job. I wasn't gonna do anything for this show but, after binging your vids on it, I'm working on a piano medley of Acolyte themes.

That means a lot to hear from you. Thanks! Let me know if you want any .xml files to work from. I can’t wait to hear it!

I love our hero Bazil and his little theme!
For some reason, a lot of people interpret the appearance of Bazil behind Sol to mean that Bazil told Sol who Mae was off-screen. I don't get that at all, though. To me, it seems clear that Sol is either unaware of Bazil or is pretending to be unaware (I'll assume the former).
I'm getting a bit of a "hobbit" vibe from Bazil ... he may be little, but it can be a little thing that "tips the scales"?

I don’t think Sol senses Bazil because he’s entrenched in his own thoughts and fears about Mae and about being exposed for whatever he did on Brendok.

    4:00 Nah that’s Kylo’s theme 🙂‍↔️

The blur between the two is becoming more and more. Im always hesitant to call it Kylo’s theme for now since the distinction is really a result of intention. And since I don’t know the intention, I can’t ever say it with certainty. I’m very interested to see what they’re leading up to with it.

Mae's / the Acolyte main theme has always been very similar to Kylo's but yeah that specific moment was Kylo's exactly (except the final note is a half step too high)

@@starwarsmusicanalysisThought you might find this interesting; despite my initial doubts Leslye Headland confirmed in an interview that the theme is indeed there intentionally. 👀
EDIT (some speculation): I wonder, because surely Qimir was a Sith at some point, as he quotes the code, and is very skilled… but I’m unsure if he still is. He says to Sol that he wants the freedom to wield his power the way he likes, so I’m starting to think he’s attempting to make his own thing apart from the Jedi or Sith, likely the Knight of Ren? 🤔

@ethsch13 that could be it. I heard about Headland said. I think she also said that he definitely is Sith. Guess we’ll just wait and see. Haha
