Great job Pete! Your the man! So inspiring! What do you think of the Super Speed swing training system? I'm working with it right now. Keep up the good work! Cheering you on from Victoria BC, Canada. :)
I kinda admire what your trying and could get on board if bryson was blowing away comps ever week but he isn't. On another not you could keep this up for 12-18 months maximum
Agree. I've been lifting for past year and have raised my squat, deadlift, press and bench numbers significantly. Want to incorporate the stretching and golf movements into my routine now that I have developed some base strength
We're all on the exercise bandwagon. Please show us some of your workout routines, strength and power specifically. Keep up the excellent work....cheers
This is probably your best video in the last 12 months (for me) More content like this please and more on the journey to get here Really interested in where you can take this and to see how you take it out on the course Looking forward to more of this please!
Just shattering quest for 350 with perfectly flighted balls down the middle. Awesome. Keep at it Pete! Love that you’re still doing these videos about questing to improve
@@jackhenderson7155 all day long it ain't always about the bombs off the tee. A shot he has control of 100% is better than a bomb 1in5/2in10 just my opinion I ain't hating on him for doing this at all but I don't think he can sustain it the same way bryson cant
Fantastic content again Pete, brilliant idea to change your swing and show the results in tournament conditions.. can't wait for lockdown to finish and see what you can do! Bring on the open! 💪
Thanks Pete! I think this kind of video in the quest is really what puts you a level above the rest of RUclips! It gets me excited for the coming season and keep pushing in the preseason training!
hats off to you Pete, brilliant training program. I'm 57 and train every day just for 1 yard extra. My problem is technic, working and living in China it's difficult to get a good coach to help due to language difficulties. I study every shot of yours in slow motion and I'm trying to emulate you. such a difficult task now lol.
Really enjoyed the video peter. You game swing looked so solid and repeatable. Also the process is putting a big smile on that face, that in itself is a huge win. Keep it up.
Peter - really excited for this video. I'm very happy you're putting this together as I'm also working on the same thing (albeit, much lower goals). Thanks!
Way to go Pete. Thats some serious movement. Can't wait to see what you get to in a couple of months. Your gonna be knocking the cover off those balls! 👍🏻
Best vid yet Pete! Absolutely love the swing speed vids as my aim as a 16 year old guy to get my swing speed to 110mph this year. More vids like this please Pete!
Just goes to show Pete. Strike is king. Just as you say your slowing down to a comfortable speed and finding great strike. (Slowing down to 125MPH club ooft) great video.
Great video Peter! Always enjoy your content, have been following you and Rick since before the first golfbidder challenges. Really rooting for you for a win in a pro comp! You got this, if you put the work in then the prize will be yours! Good luck.
Great video, I would be interested to see some of the stretching and gym work that you are doing to increase speed. I have tried to do it myself but I always struggle for time to be able to do all the extra stuff that you need to do.
Pete, Looks like you are on the right track. Have been watching quest for the open videos and am looking forward to watching more of those, seeing you incorporate this training and getting to the Open. Keep up the great work!
Channeling your inner Bryson is awesome! Congrats Pete on the hard work paying off! If you're available in the June time frame, I'd like to invite you to play in our charity tournament her in California!! On my team of course! Keep up the good work and sending good vibes your way for The Open qualifying! Cheers!
Playing tournament mentality- "I have practiced hard as I can. On tournament day trust your score will just be the result of all your practice and prep. Mentally-let it be game day. Dont worry bout score tournament day, see score as just result of practice. If score not good enuff, didn't practice enuff. Enough said
Nice one Peter glad you haven't given up on the quest for the open enjoy that and thanks for recommending tour X golf for a fitting got it booked in for may
Love seeing this type of video, shows the side of pro golf that some don't see or realise happens. Would like to see more on your stretching and exercise routines. Really looking forward to seeing more qfto in the near future, and you winning a tournament 👍🏻👍🏻
Very interesting video Pete, you are clearly ready for a serious challenge, emerging from the lockdown situation. Highly commendable and good luck with your targets. The wholistic approach to golf, with 100% application including fitness, health, sleep and beer moderation will undoubtedly transform your game but don’t forget the mental side. I read a book (very rare event) recommended by an old timer who always remains happily calm, Zen golf, and it’s made a huge impact- far more than the strength or equipment. Whatever your doing physically don’t forget the mental. Have a success 2021 . New chapter- New Pete. (Rick S will be struggling to keep up!)
What would Stenson or indeed Molinari think of this approach?? 🤣🤣 The fact you manage to dial it back into a gameable swing is the key. Looking forward to seeing it (or infact anything) on the course
Hey Pete! If you want improve power from the ground up you should watch discus throwers, especially in slow motion! Sounds weird but I'm former thrower of the discus and coach. I've had my swing speed up into the 140's. I'm 50+ now and still have my top speed in the 125 range. Watch throwers do power throws from the front of the circle. It's very similar to the golf swing.
YES Pete been waiting to watch you crushing bombs!! That's made my day! I can't wait to follow your progress just wish I could come and watch you play in your comps!
Would love to see a breakdown of the workout/mobility routine you’re doing Pete. I do general weights etc but nothing specifically designed for golf so this would be really helpful
This was amazing Finchy - so good I subscribed! Been looking for a video of this for a while. I want to hear more about this, can we please have a video on how to speed train, stretching, injury prevention, limitations etc! Where are the follow-up videos?
Watching this all out swings with the sim2. Pretty impressive that despite how hard you were swinging, nothing was ending up Brenda's garden ( thanks Alex etches for making that reference stick in my mind)
got myself whoop for xmas but although I really like the insights I find it to be expensive for someone who realistically doesnt really workout. I do sleep better though, it is surprisingly accurate.. Congrats on your progress, Pete.
I think you touched on a key benefit here of training to swing ‘over speed’. I am doing something similar in my garden net, no where near your speeds but what I am finding is that I can swing nearly 10mph faster now at 100% effort than 6 months ago...but strike is a little all over the place. But if I throttle back it now means I can swing 5-6mph faster than 6 months ago... and find the middle much easier. A bit like any other sport really where you train hard often above your event goal speed/pace/power...to make completion effort feel easy and controllable.
Hey Peter, love the videos you make, great style, flair and personality which makes your methods very fun. I’m on your Facebook and would Love to see a release of the exercises you do consistently to achieve this massive gains. I’m an avid Canadian golfer looking to be at my absolute best and totally believe this would get me there
Hey pete, I don't want to take away from your speed accomplishments, they're impressive no end. I'd like to know your swing speed numbers on trackman or flightscope. The PGA Tour numbers are measured using Trackman, which measures a different part of the clubhead than foresight.
Love to see your rutin at the gym. The thing I find the hardest to practise at the gym is the followthrou movement to gain your strenght from impact and after hitting the ball. I would love to see your complete hour at the gym, but most of all how your PT thinks about the "end of the swing so you dont "stop" at the ball. Again great video and looking forward to see som "oncourse" videos as well.
Hey everyone! Huge thank you to Whoop for coming onboard as a channel partner ☺️ check them out here

Agree. I've been lifting for past year and have raised my squat, deadlift, press and bench numbers significantly. Want to incorporate the stretching and golf movements into my routine now that I have developed some base strength
I was curious about this myself
Definitely want to see a comprehensive stretch routine for golfers, I do some stretches before play but I definitely feel like I need to be doing more
We're all on the exercise bandwagon. Please show us some of your workout routines, strength and power specifically. Keep up the excellent work....cheers

Rick's gonna be raging when he sees this😂

Pete, this is brilliant. You're absolutely crushing it! No reason why you can't go out and smash some tournaments with that speed!
Just shattering quest for 350 with perfectly flighted balls down the middle. Awesome. Keep at it Pete! Love that you’re still doing these videos about questing to improve
Long drive vs Matt and Alex 😎 i think you can take them. Great work Pete👍
Ton of respect for trying this. I said before I am rooting for you to achieve your goals. Good luck
I’d love to see a Pete vs Rick now
Pete no problem!
Theres no comparison. Pete is far more skilled
Rick wins easy

Pete dropping a video the same day i apply for the social media manager job! This is a great sunday!
Loving the goals, especially the last one. It's about time we see your name on the sports page channels, not just RUclips.
I would definitely like to see your training exercises. Keep up the good work! cheers!

New pre game routine swing like hell and smash driver, then you’ll still swing faster than normal and more consistent! Perfect!
You beast! Keep it up Peter! You’ve got Rick trying to gain some distance to try and keep up with you!
YES Pete been waiting to watch you crushing bombs!! That's made my day! I can't wait to follow your progress just wish I could come and watch you play in your comps!

Really looking forward to this series!
I'm on a swing speed regimen myself and three months in.
Love seein the progress pete!!
Great job, Pete, On reaching a personal best, and having us being able to watch it all happen! Stick with it, you'll get there soon!!
Finchy I think its time you extend the challenge for distance to Matty at TXG and big Al down under
Looking forward to seeing the results Pete, stretching routines and warmups would be good to see.
3:34 That ball was like “don’t hit me that hard! I’m out of here!” 😂😂
Keep up the hard work, Pete. Looks like it’s really paying off.
You should do a vid on your gym workouts. Sets and reps and how you split your weeks
Well done! I’m also on the quest to 140mph club head speed. It’s truly a grind!!
Been watching awhile Pete. I hope I get to see you win your first event.
Good luck Pete! You can do it!
Oh my! If I swung or should I say TRIED to swing that fast/hard, there would be a bloody testicle on the floor! Well done Mr. Finch
Really looking forward to seeing the ‘Quest’ take off again this year 👌
Would love to see a breakdown of the workout/mobility routine you’re doing Pete. I do general weights etc but nothing specifically designed for golf so this would be really helpful
Well done Pete. Great video. Just watch the back at the speed. 🏌🏻🏋🏼🚀🚀
Yeah! I'm interested in your stretch and workout for more swing speed. Thanks Mate!
Right when I thought I was hitting the ball long at 300, Pete drops this series.

This is just the best video on RUclips
I would love to see “P. Finch” on my PGA Tour app Leaderboard!!
Definitely interested in all your workouts. Curious to understand what other strength exercises and ROM exercises you've been smashing!
Video should be called "Pete goes full Bryson"
Looking good Mr Finch, keep it up.
Really interested in the workouts you've been doing!! I'm interested in focusing .y workouts to become more golf specific!!!
Great video! What does this do to your iron play? Are you hitting those much further? Any change to your iron play distance consistency?
Keep going pete, great content and well done love your channel.
Great Work Pete, keep it up dawg!!
Big Congrats on your journey 🙌🏼 180+ Ballspeed is huge💪🏽
