That’s wild that you guys were talking about hobbie horsing and dressage because I receive notifications for petitions of all kinds and received one to outlaw “soring” horses for dressage competitions. The act of “soring” a horse is purposely causing injuries and pain through blunt force trauma or chemical burns so the horse can’t put pressure down on those two front feet which causes them to do that high stepping motion you see in those competitions. Came from Spotify to comment about your conversation at the end. I always thought I was alone with my immense fear of death, I have been getting severe panic attacks about it since I was a teenager, and I also avoid talking about it, or I get this horrible feeling of doom. I also get this feeling when I think of how enormous the galaxy is, so I can’t ever watch documentaries about space. You are not alone Janelle 💗
Regarding the museum vs private collections, there's a HUGE difference between a museum that's going to collect certain items to preserve for history sake, verses a private collector that will hoarde EVERYTHING. IE friggin hair samples or dentures from criminals or victims. Maybe a museum will have that as well, but they aren't going to be excessive about it.
