    A video about the introduction lesson and what lesson planning looks like would be so helpful! Only one more week until orientation starts!

    Love your channel ❤ I’d love to know more about the intro lesson also is there a set dress code for teachers or does it vary between schools?

      Thank you so much! I’m actually uploading an intro lesson video today!! As for the clothes; there isn’t really a set dress code which is nice (at least for my schools)! When I dress I just think about Korean culture and what’s appropriate while also being causal enough that I can work and do activities with elementary schoolers!

    The documents that we have to get together for the ARC, are we given those documents when we are in orientation or do we need to fly to Korea with certain documents?

    Thanks for this video! I am wondering what documents you needed for the ARC? I am currently taking my TEFL course and planning on applying for spring 2025 with EPIK!

      Awesome! The documents you need are just the same ones for the EPIK application process! They’ll just tell you to compile them all together with your signed contract (this happens once you get there) and that’s it!

      @@courtneyschapter1146 hello! Would you say that you have discretionary money at the end of the month after your expenses are paid? Are you able to save any money?

    • @courtneyschapter1146
      @courtneyschapter1146  6 месяцев назад

      Hi! Great question! I would say that this depends completely on your lifestyle and location here in Korea! As someone placed in a more rural/suburban location with a lower cost of living it is much easier for me to save money than someone located in Seoul! I would say that the epic salary definitely IS enough to live on and put aside some for savings! But if you are someone who eats out consistently, lives in a big city, and desires to travel a lot this would obviously have its monetary drawbacks.

    Hi Courtney, does the school pay for your wifi?

    • @Saphiradiaries
      @Saphiradiaries 8 месяцев назад +4

      Nope, either you’re lucky enough that your building includes WiFi or if not you have to get your own router.
