Love To Love You Baby new audio HQ! New photo!!
Muy buen recuerdo
In the 70s they did not care about extending a song ,because most of the songs like this one were for disco clubs and skating rings and coke heads.
my first serious song !
The best retro
Luckily for me I already taped the 17 minute club erotic version in 1975 on Casette tape. RUclips strike policies are in effect so I know why you collaged 17 minutes of cleaning the song up and removed what even Donna Summer thought was an unauthorized "negative meaning she didn't sign off for" in light of her future many other songs and albums more clean (including Bad Girls)!
I am 61 years old, and I can honestly say that this is the greatest disco song ever made, and there is not a single foul word in it. There is no other song that comes close. It was a great time for all of us disco freaks. Nothing will ever compare.
You are right...Nothing will Ever compare.
Ditto that. She is my favorite singer
There may be no foul words but there sure is some foul moaning I'll you what.
@@k-leb4671
IMO I would not describe Donna's moaning as foul. Lustful yes, foul no. Men make all kinds of sounds during sex; no one says they're foul. Why describe a woman's moans as foul?
A masterpiece, no question about that. Unforgettable.
For the moaning part, she made everyone except Giorgio, leave the room, and all of the lights had to be out. Look what happened. The original 12". May our Queen Rest In Peace.
Steven Stoddard She laid on the floor & channeled Marilyn Monroe.
@@jc35019 Giorgio at alive event in New York, 2014, said he was in the booth while he made everyone else leave, and left donna alone in front of the mic.
Love me some Donna ...so missed
I heard she faked 23 orgasms, while recording this song alone in studio. Listening to her sexy voice, I'm about to reach my firt one....huyyyyaaaa!!
@@jc35019 Good question.
50 years ago I danced with a beautiful lady to this record, an experience I will never ever forget !! Shivers were going up and down my spine the whole time.
Lost my virginity to this song. Really. Columbia SC, Ft Jackson, SC. Can't make this shit up!
How many children were born to this song 🎵 and generations after??
Realize I’m being annoyingly technical here but I think you mean conceived 😂 Although jamming this in the delivery room could maybe ease the process lol
The most sensual track ever made. xx
This is what an eargasm sounds like
These no singing big ass pieces out here now make me want to cry at what we have lost. The sheer fun of listening to a song
Even Isaac Hayes (who was an avid believer in 'eargasms') would agree with the dear Dameon-of-Smith.
Great comment.
not as much fun though
She was my favorite female singer in da 70s n 80s. N mow
Her music had a true meaning to it, Casablanca music, there r female ive meet looks like her, n they ask whos donna summers, i chuckled n say you dont know what r missing, just Google it. Boom
The 3-minute version can't even scratch the magnificence of this one.
Very true, dear NotSoSweet ... not that any of us would ever want for this vinyl to ever be 'scratched'. That would be just too much pain for this RUclips community.
This version is an epic!
True there. That would be the radio version. This version was meant for the Night Clubs, Sex Parties and Weed Smoking Gatherings.
Right the song hadn't even got warm after 3 minutes. Lol
Oh you so right when you said that so right
Every studio musician showed up for this from the flute player to the space keyboard player. Great tune.
The song that helped us 70's babies get here 😊
And the 80s
Many people conceived to this tune

I am 66yrs old n still think Donna Summer had so much talent. This song proves it and how the instrumental part plays out well❤FANTASTIC SONG 🎵
This is called being patient and telling a story through instruments, erotic backdrop or not.
Just a complete masterpiece in music making that does not exist on this level anymore.
One of a kind voice, Donna Summer💚

Once Giorgio Moroder concluded with the recording and editing of this song, he was not sure how the public would react to it, so he organized a party and there he "casually" made this song be heard, the reaction of his guests was incredible who asked to hear it over and over again, that's how he concluded that it should be released as soon as possible, the rest is history
not giorgio but the owner of casablanca records...neil bogart
Wow
Almost right, Giorgio send it to Neil Bogart who was having a sex party when it arrived. Playing it everyone kept asking to play it again and again... Cause it was the perfect song for that massive orgy haha..

Indeed. Giorgio can go from songs like these, to songs like "Un'estate Italiana". His range as a producer is amazing...
But it took Donna's sensuality to bring this song to life!
Yaassss!
Agree with you. The capacity to put together notes that are repetitive without sounding cacophonous. Perfect harmony, rhythm and compass!

For those wondering, the other musicians are backing vocalists Betsy, Gitta Walther, and Lucy O'Neale; guitarists Molly Moll, Nick Woodland, and Pete Bellotte; bassist Dave King; drummer Martin Harrison; percussionist Bernie Brocks; keyboardist-percussionist Giorgio Moroder; keyboardist Michael Thatcher; and string player Franz Deuber.
Thanks for the info. I was wondering who the musicians were.
Thank you. Love the base guitar the most BTW
Giorgio was more than just the keyboard player. He produced the whole thing and more, he influenced the musical direction of the song.

Just the bass, slowly building up, reaching a crescendo and then, a sudden drop. BLISS. A rage during the 70s. Still so cool. Heard it after years and LOVED it. Music for the ages. 😍😍
Yesssss the strings and every part is amazing .

17 minute version, As strange as it may seem. I never took this as a perversely song, growing up in the 70s, I don't know, maybe I'm from another planet. But I took this as an incredible piece of work. Nothing, I mean nothing like I've ever heard before. I was a instant fan of Donna. Just an absolute MASTERPIECE. The collaboration of human voice and music are just magical. I can't say enough. I know she stop singing this at her concerts. As kid I thought Donna Summer was a beautiful looking woman with an infectious sound
Her music was wonderful and different. I loved disco and her songs sere so fun to dance too
Here I am, a 55 year old man, and feel the same way
Her sound is indeed infectious. My friend was staying the night and he was out in the living room on the couch, but this song was playing on the TV. I went out there and pulled his pants off and let's say he swiped a certain card that night.
I was 25 in 1975, I should have danced to this! but somehow I was not into music at that point in my life...just discovered Donna Summer, now aged 73!!!
There’s no way you’re being serious
In the seventies you were in your twenties and now in the twenties you're in your seventies? Are you at least tryna dance?😅
