Yes! I'm 67 and still cut a rug. When I do work around the house outside have my earbuds in and listen to music. The music is on my phone on its Micro SD Card and the playlist is over 18 hours long. I have Swing, R&B Rock & Roll, Disco, Country & Western, Soul, Hip Hop. It's basically songs that make my feet and hips move. One day a couple of ladies my wife knew stopped by and they seemed surprised that I actually dance when when I work. My sister thought that after having a heart attack and bypass surgery I would just sit around and not do anything as she would. When I go walking I listen to music. When I first told my doctor about going walking and dancing she said, "good."
@@eileenbaird6617, I have been collecting CDs for years and "The Disco Years, Volume 1 Turn The Beat Around" is one of the ones I have on my phone. I started buying them when I was working as an over-the-road driver to listen to when I was areas of the country where I couldn't pick up anything to listen to. Yes, the U.S. has music dead zones. After about $80 worth of music was stolen from my truck the next time I was home I started putting the music on the phone's Micro SD Card. If the truck's radio didn't have Bluetooth I have a cable to run from the phone to the radio but nowadays it seems they all come with Bluetooth. With what I have on the phone now my current playlist is over 18 hours.

Of course I am old, 57, and I realize when you get old, you don't necessarily "understand" the music of the younger generations. There's two things in particular, I just can't understand. First is autotune. It's been ruining music for over 10 years. I loath it. I can hear it on most pop songs, and the effect makes them sound screechy, like fingernails on a chalkboard. I could care less about the effect IF it made music sound better. But IMO, it ruins music completely. I guess I am just sensitive to the artifacts it creates. The other thing I don't understand is so called "modern rock." 20 years ago, or thereabouts, we moved from grunge to modern rock. I wasn't a big grunge fan. But there were some pretty good albums, for example a few by Pearl Jam, and one by Alice in Chains. This is me saying, I liked those albums. But then, modern rock. And as boring as grunge was, modern rock was ever more boring. I work in a software lab where we have a radio playing the modern rock station. And weeks of doing this, has made me realize how boring modern rock is. All over again. Stopped listening to it years ago, but now I am a captive audience. Comparing that to the far more diverse music of 60s, 70s and 80s, and even the 90s it's dul dull dull. Just screaming and guitar and drums. That's it. I guess we will never get sophisticated and intricate rock ever again. No Floyd. No Sytx. No ELP. No new wave. No punk. Punk was plain, but INTERESTING. I still like punk. Modern rock...ack. It's just...there. I don't care how good the muscians are, they don't do anything interesting to prove it.
@@michaelbauers8800 I don' t know how they picked what was played on the radio back in the day. Problem nowadays is that it's a popularity contest. What I'm seeing is the music industry looking at what people listen to (what gets listeners and makes money), and then starts producing music to fit into that category. Preferably in an easy way too - less instruments and more computer. So what they prefer to release is what people are familiar with. Such a funky song🔥I am a 62 year young woman who totally digs all the old school disco music. And I love shakin my groove thing while listening to this cool track!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
For me this is the best disco track ever. The disco era was great, people wanted to dance and have fun and we did. I'm so grateful I was alive back then, I had some great friends and I wouldn't change a single minute. BURN BABY BURN ❤
I am a 60 year old metalhead but appreciates good music. This may be one of the greatest songs ever written and performed. Great singers and some of the most talented musicians I have heard. Good music will never die and this song proves it
I am blown away by the lead singer and "orchestra" here. They really lay down a killer track. There's a lot of subtle details to listen for in the instrumental section ( late in the song.) I have always adored this song.
I was a teen at this time. Disco was FUN and it still puts a smile on my face when I hear it! I’m 62 and I’m so glad I had so many great artists to listen to.
Me too. Remember trying to do the Saturday Night Fever duo dances in a hotel disco in Bayswater. Happy nights, when dancing just made me forget everything but the feeling!
I'm 23. I grew up listening to all sorts of music from the 70's thanks to my grandmother. I keep coming back to this song. In my opinion, this song features the best bassline ever written.
BRAVO! We need music and bands like this now! Positive music in the face of adversity. This is happy music. You can't help but feel Positive and dance.
They are classy, well dressed, great poetic lyrics, great dancers, live instruments, soulful....this is it! Thanks for uploading this. Watching this in 2022 and years to come!
Naci en el 1966 . Tuve la mejor época de musica. Muchos no sabrán que es sentir este ritmo . Me encanta los 70's Gracias por compartir y transportarme .
My absolute favorite disco song. The way the lead-singer screams after the bridge on the lyric, "...SAAAAA-TIS-FACTION, came in a chain RE-ACTION..." I consider a high point in rock n roll. It simply can't be topped. Thank you, fellows, for creating this wonderful music! (Oh, by the way, I'm 75 years old.)

Don’t know anybody in my life who hated disco music. Just the opposite loving it till the end of time. It’s uplifting and makes you want to dance and you feel good when you dance.
Just because the filthy turds that are the music industry and Hollywood said disco is dead, didnt mean anything. If people would stop letting these vermin decide everything for them, we'd be a happier world.
I loved Disco. Everybody dressed for the club or party. Just look at the band. You knew who was performing . Bell bottoms, platform shoes, hot pants and mini skirts. OMG. How I miss those times.
It's coming from the soul I just can't stop, listening Let the good times flow I'm from '69 and grew up with music like this i never stopped listening, my kids were listening and so as my grandson now❤ 😂❤❤ ❤❤❤
Tony Mendes, thank you for sharing. I remember dancing to this at the disco clubs in D.C. in the '70's . Who needs to pay for a gym when one dances to this off-the-charts sensational music. I truly dig the brass; the Trammps chorography and dress takes my breath away Iris from Manassas, VA.
Disco Inferno the only song that makes you want to tear every room in the house up dancing. I can't sit still. Love it. Takes me back to my Club days. Just can't stop when my spark gets hot.

@@joncoles2089 Thanks for responding. Depression can be a monster. Great to have something that can clear it and have fun at the same time. Love listening to disco, it puts me in a good mood. Glad it does the same for you!

@@joncoles2089 You keep your chin up too!! Really like Motown too. Listening to one of my favorites, Marvin Gaye. Keep movin' and groovin'. Take care. 😃🌻🇨🇦
I was born in 1978 and can appreciate this song. Best song ever!
I was born in 1958...still dancing😂
Thank God I was there at that time. Loved it all. I still get a thrill listening to it.
I'm only 35, and a metal head, but this song is definitely worthy, of being called a classic! This song is awesome!
I'm also a 35 y/o metalhead, and this song is one of my favorite songs of all times
Makes my skin crawl with excitement listening to this great hit song of the 70's ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ i miss those great days ! 😢
Such a funky song🔥I am a 62 year young woman who totally digs all the old school disco music. And I love shakin
my groove thing while listening to this cool track!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Shake it Michelle........shake it! 🕺💃
I'm 60 and 👁️ still listen to 60s/70s 🏴🫶
Claro mi amor , ese trigueño le ponia alma vida y corazón. Ala interpretación , o estoy con Tigo y tú gusto por la música
I love this song always puts me in a good mood 🙂🪩🪩🕺
We need to back to the years 80's. I would stay there forever.😊
This song is from 1976, not the 80s. If you did go back to the 80s you'd be disappointed to find that disco was already dead and very much despised.
Did you just say 80’s
For me this is the best disco track ever. The disco era was great, people wanted to dance and have fun and we did. I'm so grateful I was alive back then, I had some great friends and I wouldn't change a single minute. BURN BABY BURN ❤
Good times. Wish we could go back
there will be good times again, with great music.
I agree ...hundreds per cent.!!
Unfortunately I was married to a man who did not dance and missed out ~ just dancing 'round the house by myself.
We used to go to the bars in downtown Iowa City and dance to this one and many others. Angel flight pants - yes!
I am a 60 year old metalhead but appreciates good music. This may be one of the greatest songs ever written and performed. Great singers and some of the most talented musicians I have heard. Good music will never die and this song proves it
Agree. I'm a 55 year old Classic Rocker, but I can dig the disco.
Many talented musicians at Philly 🎶🎶❣🎶
DEFINITELY❣🎶🎶
Remember when black and white people listened to the same music and we all got along?
@@wendyplatts7986 AMEN!!! I have been saying that for years.
I am blown away by the lead singer and "orchestra" here. They really lay down a killer track. There's a lot of subtle details to listen for in the instrumental section ( late in the song.) I have always adored this song.
Best disco song ever!!!! I’m 73 ( how did that happen!)
Love it! Dancing like I’m young again!
Mix of 60s and 70s, absolutely brilliance
I was a teen at this time. Disco was FUN and it still puts a smile on my face when I hear it! I’m 62 and I’m so glad I had so many great artists to listen to.
Também fui muito feliz nessa época e amo a música disco
Me too. Remember trying to do the Saturday Night Fever duo dances in a hotel disco in Bayswater. Happy nights, when dancing just made me forget everything but the feeling!
Ik ben nu 61, woon in Nederland en ben opgegroeid met disco, vind het nog steeds te gek en word er blij van!!!!
It was a better time for sure. When disco died that was the decline of our society.
Me too!
in 100 years a lot of bands will have passed but we will still listen to The Trammps - Disco Inferno and and i would be dead
Love the groove, I can workout endlessly to this tune!!!
J, ai moi aussi 63 ans le disco c, est toute ma jeunesse et j, adoooore cette musique
INDEMODABLE ! De la bonne musique a danser .vive le disco !
I'm 23. I grew up listening to all sorts of music from the 70's thanks to my grandmother. I keep coming back to this song. In my opinion, this song features the best bassline ever written.
@@orlandofriend Thanks for the info!
Good for you man, I had to find all this typa music by myself, but I'm glad I did
I adore I Want Your Love by Chic, if we're talking basslines.
Im 21, this is one of my favorite songs. Disco/funk was one of the best genres of music
💕💕💕 God bless you!
UNFORGETTABLE
BRAVO! We need music and bands like this now! Positive music in the face of adversity. This is happy music. You can't help but feel Positive and dance.
Going towards 70 and still dancing to this song. Just like with the O'jays Love for the Money and Backstabbers.
This version is MAGICAL!
Jimmy Ruffin does a great version of Backstabbers, too. It was on the B side of There Will Never be Another You
@@jtlampsu2 Thank you!
@@Eitner100 You're welcome. 🙂

They are classy, well dressed, great poetic lyrics, great dancers, live instruments, soulful....this is it! Thanks for uploading this. Watching this in 2022 and years to come!

My Mom was 12 years old and Dad was 11 years old when The Trammps released "Disco Inferno" on December the 26th of 1976.
The best Disco song ever recorded, period!
This is definitely one of the best dancing songs (and singing 🎶) EVER. Thanks for playing the long version @Tony Mendes.
lets go back to the 70s music better than the crap the kids listen to these days
Oh, the memories - dancing in the kitchen with my mom with her huge afro and huge hoop earrings! I miss my mom and this brings back great memories!!
Great song! These guys are awesome!
En mayo del 2024, me pregunto quién no bailó esta maravilla en los setenta y ochenta? Inmortales.
I was a DJ in the 70s and played this at least 3 times a night then, great track.
63 yrs. here. I wish I could go back.
In my 50s and I still think it is the greatest disco song SAAAAAAAAAAtis faction!!
Hello I am 71 years and love to dance to the disco and 60's and am a BABY BOOMER and happy to be one I go to the club for the BABY BOOMERS a few times and Yes I move for my age so bring it back Portland, or
Don’t know anybody in my life who hated disco music.
Y'all missed the greatest generation of live music and entertainment. Soul music will live forever in my ancestor's country America!❤
I loved Disco. Everybody dressed for the club or party. Just look at the band. You knew who was performing . Bell bottoms, platform shoes, hot pants and mini skirts. OMG. How I miss those times.
@debbie gerak I bet those people who turned their nose up at disco back in the day, would _GLADLY_ take _IT_ over the crap we have now.

I'm from '69 and grew up with music like this
i never stopped listening, my kids were listening and so as my grandson now❤ 😂❤❤ ❤❤❤
Tony Mendes, thank you for sharing. I remember dancing to this at the disco clubs in D.C. in the '70's . Who needs to pay for a gym when one dances to this off-the-charts sensational music. I truly dig the brass; the Trammps chorography and dress takes my breath away Iris from Manassas, VA.
14th Street disco?
I’m a heavy metal dude from the 70s and still today. But damn this music is incredible!!!!
I'm a heavy and nu metal dude from the 90s and i still find this music incredible. Good music is timeless.
Yeahhh, real music, made by real people. Keep it swinging !!
Gr8est song ever!! Needs la 💕 LOVE button!!!!Never tires!!
This is history! When people danced and were happy. What a feeling compared to now!
Donna...I am 75 and loving my old school music...good therapy!!
Amazing how young music makes us feel....for a little anyway :)
O loo

Disco Inferno the only song that makes you want to tear every room in the house up dancing. I can't sit still. Love it. Takes me back to my Club days. Just can't stop when my spark gets hot.
