- So I bought this Hot Tools 24k Gold blow out brush and it was such a great investment. No more sitting in salon for hours and paying $80+ everytime i want a silk press. This is a full review and my opinion on why I think everyone should own this tool, especially for natural hair.

This blower brush changed my life! My silk presses come out with so much movement and shine. The process takes 20 minutes, love it.

Coming to say that this review inspired me to purchase one. I purchased the Hot tools signature Series last night from Walmart (purple and black one)! I went to look for the difference between the signature series and 24k and there's no difference except the color (if anyone is wondering) I made sure to get some heat protectant too. Thank you so much for this review I can't wait to use it!!! ❤️

I recommend when use if those type of blow dryers pass 2 times and the 3 pass until the ends then once you at the end roll them up to the roots and hold for 20 sec or 25 and it become bone straight and so much easier 🥰🥰hopes this helps God loves you so much turn to him he got you

Yes, I just took my daughter to a Dominican salon, and the stylist would roll her hair up and clip it. My baby’s hair was bone straight before they even flat ironed it. She probably didn’t even need to get it flat ironed.

I love that u do this on basically air dried hair. I don’t like blow drying wet hair.

@@LondonsTreasure ok I am not seeing this as answer to my question, the fact that it still blow drys it nicely without it being wet is another big deal, because when I use the regular blow dryer it does not blow dry it well when it is not semi wet. will be getting one. Thank you!

Just a little advice… please detangle your hair with a detangling brush instead of a fine tooth comb and avoid more than one pass when flat ironing

I got the Black one from Hot tools, I was kinda hesitant to use it more because it might fry my hair but using heat protectant on hair before blowdrying and before straightening. Girl, you’re so wise, air drying you hair before is very helpful❤️

Used the one by revlon changed my life!! Gently straightens without damage from root to end my family thought I had a perm. Straightens really well tho I was worried about my curls coming back. def not one step though had to use flat iron

Nice video. I love my Hot Tools 24k gold blow dry brush. I’ve had it for three or four months now and it still performs well. I have less breakage with this tool and no heat damage from it at all. I only use this on the low setting and it still gets my hair to a desired blow out. I’m sure if and when I decide to use this on high my hair would probably be straight. If you curl the barrel a couple times as you slowly pull it through the hair it will curl and give volume as it blow dries if you desire the curled blown out textured style. It cuts my blow dry time in half and if I do decide to flat iron and curl my hair it is bone straight afterwards, almost too straight sometimes lol so I usually just blow dry my hair and wear a nice bun that’s very full looking.
I love this tool. Some people are skeptical about it but I can say without question it was worth my money.

@@LondonsTreasure Thanks; looking that up right now. Haven’t been too successful with my current flat iron. Maybe with a new tool and your tips, that will change. I’m a recent 4C, low porosity, thick hair natural after years of relaxed hair, and no heat styling has been a total failure for me.

Hey! I found your video and decided to go with this brand versus the revlon one. I bought mine online at Bed Bath and Beyond and got it for 60 something using a coupon. I must say... It was good purchase! I havent flat ironed my hair yet but it did get it pretty straight with a a little curl on the ends. And I have thick hair so it was very VOLUMINOUS!😌 Thanks so much!

Okay soooo…i bough this and my blowout turned out EXACTLY like yours. Only difference is, when i straightened it, my hair was stiff asf. I think its my flat iron. So im gonna buy the one that u have and hopefully that works. I may not need to crochet my hair anymore and could wear a twist out or silky straight thanks to this video..will give an update later

I have coarse, thick hair and I’ve been eyeing Silk Elements for a minute but I’m not going broke buying it from the beauty supply store: NO MAAM! However I will be reinvesting in another hot air brush.

There are other hot air brushes out there. Its actually an old invention. Of you can afford it... you just can't afford it. Don't feel pressured.
Yours is the only review I have seen on this blow dryer on natural hair. Revlone paddle blow dryer but I need a knee one and was looking at this

LOVE THIS REVIEW! Clearly I am late on this video lol but I am glad I found it. I was about to buy the new Tracy Ellis new blow dryer which is about $200. But I will try this first. I used to use that heat protected that you got, but it alway's made my hair feel sticky. It might have been the oil I was using with it. So I will try that coconut oil you got. I have seen that oil even at Target I think. You said it correctly, this looks like a game changer.

I burnt and damaged my hair with this brush dryer! Yes I did use silk elements heat protector and damage still occured 😢

You might have to use a lower setting. I heard you can't hold it on 1 spot to long either when using it.
I have very thick, course and short hair. I may try that out because my hair is resistant to heat.

How long does it take before your hair starts to shrink?
I bought revelon one I like the bristles on it, it grips the hair!!
I thought about getting the Revlon and comparing the two.
I looked up reviews of Revlon versus Hot Tools videos and the Hot Tools one performed better and had more longevity. The bristles didn’t gather or bend as much as the Revlon one as well.
