Are u in Florida?
Thank you❤ the struggle is real and I am embracing every moment with my beautiful 4c hair ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Shout out to all the 4 C gals! 💜
💜
Here am gal
Hey Sistren!
That's me
Here!
Getting my first silk press blow out Tuesday. I have always been ashamed of my hair because I never felt like it was long for African American community standards. It was always my own friends and other black people who used to talk horrible about me because of my hair being 4c and short. As if I had control over how my hair grows at 12 years old. That truly caused me so many self esteem issues that I damaged by hair by hiding it under weaves and wigs. Now I’m taking the power back !! I’ll never let ANYONE make me feel like I’m not worthy because my crown is just as lovely as any body else !! LOVE YOUR SELF FIRST ! I choose to love me first now !!
Love yourself first. You are a BEAUTIFUL child of GOD. No one else in this world is like you.
Yes✊️own it
Amazing! How did it go?
Beautiful said
Love this, I’m learning to love myself and my hair as well!
I really love how you're showering her with these beautiful compliments❤️
Refreshing to see ACTUAL 4C hair.
💯
I love how much you’re focused on how beautiful her hair is in its natural 4C state! 💗💗💗
💕💓💖
I feel the love and care through the screen; I felt like I was watching you do MY hair. “4c crown” made me soft; love to see the representation of my coils 😊😫🤍
💖💖💖
@@kathyladonna hey so i know you most likely won't see this buy i have 4c hair and i tried to silk press it but it didn't stay at all not even for 30 minutes
Do have any tips on what i could do/buy to keep it straight?
Love the look reminds me of my hair
This is beautiful. Wonderful job. The lady is serious with that magic wand and the scissors. My hat off to you.
I totally agree with you that some people with 4c hair require more oil. I’ve had 2 stylists do my silk press with minimal oil and it reverted the next day. Went to this old school stylist and she put a lot more oil on my hair when she did my silk press oh my goodness it lasted for weeks and was so beautiful. So you are right about the oil.
I appreciate and love how you address our 4c hair as CROWNS. Growing up it was titled "you don't have pretty hair" or "you don't have good hair"
You’re the first person who mentioned your transition without trying to convince everyone else to stop doing what they’re doing. Now I totally understand where you’re coming from. I totally respect that locks were the best option for you and I’m with it! I’m relaxed and maybe when I’m older will go natural and curly or not lol BUT once you mentioned the nature of 4C hair it makes sense! It needs more pressure and heat to keep it straight. Loved this video and thank you 💋
She's indeed gorgeous
I like that you explain why you use oil and how 4c hair is unique when it comes to heat.
Also, thank you for featuring 4C clients on your channel without selling them a pipe dream on achieving bone straight free flowing hair.
These pipe dreams are the very reason why so many white doctors are making a small fortune on BW who insisted on forcing their hair to do things that it was NEVER meant to do.
I love how you talk about your client and how you educate us at the same time, the style came out beautiful too!
I don't understand why someone would give a thumbs down, You did excellent work!! I Love How You Did Her Hair!! Beautiful!!
Thumbs down can be a good thing. A sign that people are jealous of her skills and channel. They don't like her work but yet theyre glued to the screen watching her videos!🤣
Haha yah people are naturally jealous creatures, she did a great job I love it, at least they added on views something they can't change
Let people rate as they wish.
Where are u located?

Hahaha truth
She is So cute 🥰 thank you for being realistic about 4c hair and for being such a kind person. I love how you spoke about your client. It was heartwarming. ❤️❤️❤️
Loved this video and how positive you were when speaking about her hair!
Happy to find someone with 4c hair 🥺🥺🥺. Thank youuuu!!
I was so amazed on her hair that is known as shrinkage hair. I also was amazed on the way you blew dry her hair and then used the flatiron. Totally awesome!! I hope to see more new videos. God bless you and always stay safe.
Great job you're not only a stylist, but it's evident that you're even more into getting your clients hair healthy.💕💖💝💕💖💝💕💖💝💕💖💝
💖💓💕
I love how you express your clients crowns as a canvas....your love for this talent shows!! Keep up the great work....you definitely gained me as a subscriber.
💗 I'm extremely happy to find your video about 4C hair and silk pressing. It a blessing to find another hairstylist whi can explain and articulate the nature of 4C hair💜
I've shared your videos with several of my hair clients.
THANK YOU Queen 💗
I would love 💕 to hear more about your gorgeous 4C hair journey Sis 😉
💖✨💖
Mr to
I had to describe. Thank you for explaining how hard it is to straighten some natural hair. I watched so many videos and decided to try to blow out and flat iron my natural 4c hair. Whew it was a disaster 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks I feel better now 🙏🏽
Glad to see someone with hair like mine. I finished straightening a section of my hair and I could see immediately that it started to revert. I was heart broken and ended up just putting water and just put I in twists.
the love on your client was sooo amazing to see...and just you explaining the whole journey for yourself was an amazing gift to me...thanks queen...keep doing what u do💓
Thank you for this video! I’m a new stylist; just graduated in March. Sometimes I get walk ins and their hair is severely dry/ and needs a cut. With the length of her hair. I absolutely love the finish outcome and gives me ideas as to how to get a better desired result. 💕
How's your stylist journey going?
I like how the stylist handles her hair with care and skill. Thank you for sharing.
💗"My queens with the 4c crown" well put! My 4c will start to loc in 2 strands within 3 weeks if I am not careful. My hair wants to do it so I let LOL 4 years ago I shaved my head and now I'mworking on growing a huge fro but I have never straightened it because it doesn't want to be straight. I don't force it. Also don't want to risk heat damage and mess up my glorious fro! TFS!
Everything about this video is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you!!! 💝
Beautiful silk Press! Love the silk press, but the reverting happens quickly! And ever get caught in hot humid weather or the rain!
Your are right! She is beautiful and so was her press out💟
💖💖 you did a wonderful job! I too, have 4c natural hair. I wanted to press mines as well, just to see the length and trim; and knowing I sweat a lot in my head assures me to embrace my coils! Thank you for sharing!!
Your spirit shines through the screen! She is beautiful but SO ARE YOU!!! ❤️❤️
your voice is so soothing!
Yes I have 4 c hair as well and I never straighten my hair in the summer I do it about twice a year spring and maybe fall of winter and I have to check the weather first. If you even say rain my hair will start reverting 😂
You did a great job on her hair she looks beautiful!!
The way you speak about our hair is divine. Thank you
I absolutely love this!
Loving to see a pressing comb😌 beautiful work
Maravilhoso esse cabelo, que transformação, eu amei!!! 👏🏾👏🏾🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Verdade. As cabeleireiras brasileiras precisariam fazer um trabalho assim.
💗 this was great information because it's been 3 or 4 years since I had a silk press. So now I know what to do so my hair won't revert so fast. Thank you!😊
Her hair is so beautiful!!! You did an amazing job!!💕
I am 4c!! Thanks for this video. Beautiful results and great tips.❤️
Incrível resultado. Simplesmente amei.😍
The hairstylist is so gifted! She is so anointed! Love how u work w natural hair & so knowledgeable! Love 4 c hair!
You did an awesome job!! I didn’t think it was gonna come out so great!! As long as the client is satisfied, I say keep up the great work!!!
I love it! You did a beautiful job on her hair…and yes she is cute❤️
que trabalho perfeitooooo💖💖💖
You are like a dream hairstylist. You don’t understand. I’ve always been shy & introverted & have NEVER felt comfortable in the salon because the stylists I’ve had used to literally make me feel uncomfortable. & I’ve never went to the salon natural because of all the states I would get because I have no idea what to do with it. I admire the gentleness & the attentiveness. & she looks so comfortable in your chair❤️
Ur right this client is very pretty 🦋! And u handle her 4c coils nicely! Her hair looks amazing and so happy healthy 🤗❤️!
I randomly stumbled across this video and stayed for the commentary.

New subbie here!! ❤️ I love this tutorial and the way you refer to our hair as a 4C Crown keep doing what you’re doing and educating us how to properly take good care of our hair ✨
I absolutely loved your commentary. You gave so much knowledge and show so much passion about your Art ❤
You did a fantastic job lady girl! And yr right, she IS SO PRETTY.
Amei. Simplesmente maravilhoso.
This was absolutely gorgeous!!!!
✨ Thank you
You talk with so much positivity. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
💕Thank you so much for this! It really helped us we are a new salon that is branching into afro hair and this really helped to understand more about 4c hair!✨
Amazing!! you’ve done such a great job! 👏🏼💗☺️
✨ Thank you💕
Absolutely beautiful!
✨ Thank you
The ending is flawless 🥰 she looks so happy with the results.
Such a beautiful video. I love that you spoke positivity into your craft and client. Words are so impactful and I’m sure she’ll smile everytime she sees this ❤
Ah o sorriso dela no final 😍😍
❤️
I love how she looks absolutely stunning with both the loose & tight Curls. 😍. Gorgeous Sister & Gorgeous hair.
Just a critique, I saw some split ends when you were coming the left side back = Getting rid of them is VIP for healthy hair & maximum length retention.
You are an excellent stylist, a pleasure watching you work. Beautiful !!
wanting to straighten my hair for easter and found this channel! I watch like 5 videos already! I always struggled with my hair frizzing back up after straightening but I think this time it won't. Thanks for this wonderful information!
Your a great teacher! i love the thorough explanation
✨Thank you
@@kathyladonna Thanks for giving us free information as well🥳
ahhh the end result was great! and I loved your commentary you have such a soothing voice and as a viewer I even felt as if you were talking to me or about my own hair! so sad ur in Florida I hope I can find a stylist where I live as gentle and great as you 💓
Let me know if you find one I have yet to find someone who handles 4C 4B hair with care and love and can give this type of blowout without me walking out the door 5 seconds later and I look like I was struck by lightning my hair puffs up so quick
Love 💕 your energy and your artistry!!💗🙏🏾
Her hair turned out beautifully I love how you explain the hair textures and how to appreciate your own hair texture no matter what it is nice work
You did an amazing job 😍❤️
You make me feel so much better about my 4c hair 🥺
This is no disrespect to her, because she is a beautiful black queen BUT I really don't like straightened hair. It looks domesticated, neutered, not sext at all. She would have looked soooo much prettier in a bomb twist out. This obsession with straight hair makes us look like old lady church hair or school teacher hair. We STILL just don't get it. We're holding our own unique and earthy sexiness hostage 😮I have NEVER straightened my hair and not as a stance or political agenda. Its just not sexy straight
I love this channel! Your energy is sweet and calming and so loving ❤
Will be trying this look for my 21st birthday next week Saturday. I hope it comes out as beautiful as your creation here 😍. I've been natural for almost 5 years now. I can't wait to see the transformation 😭🤩!
YAY 4C QUEENS 😘😘😘
Talk to Em Sis!!!!! Always tryin to force our hair outside of its intent!🤯🤯
Her hair is amazing! Your knowledge and interpretation of how we should accept our hair for what it is…..I DIG it!
As a girl with this kind of hair (afro Cuban father), it hurts really bad to go to the salon and come out with hair that is still just too short. It hurts trying to keep a smile but trying not to cry knowing it doesn't look how you wish it did. I don't even know how to braid. Wish I did so I could protect my hair. This stylist did a great job! The client looks gorgeous before and after.
I think you should learn to straighten it yourself at home for when you want it straight. It can break a lot if some hairstylists touch it.
@@bumblebee4280 I do straighten it for sure.
You're so beautiful, I wouldn't think you would make such a comment. But I know exactly what you're talking about. When I was a teenager and went to the salon all the time I would hold back tears because it didn't come out the way I wanted because it was too short. I was getting relaxers(living in the south). But looking at natural hair stylist and how they set short hair up for success to thrive grow and become stronger is so amazing and hopeful. Dry all your tears, the past is gone, it's a new day! The Lord Jesus loves you and he loves us all too!
@@joycomesfromjesus8991 praise Jesus
Why u said “this kind”. Just say natural hair u make it sound weird and foreign .
Her hair looks as beautiful as she is ....Great job 💗💗💗💗
She’s so cute. 🥰 The shape and shine looks so good.
Such a beautiful transformation! Completely inspired by your words and tutorial~
Love it!!! I have 4c hair. You did a great job on your beautiful client hair.💗
She did awesome
Thankyou for addressing the fact everyone’s hair is not going to turn out looking the same and also how heavier products are NEEDED in certain situations. Your clients hair was very nice 😊 soon to be licensed cosmetologist here and new subscriber 💖😬
✨ Thank you
💗I'm loving her hair it's so beautiful❤😘❤
✨Thank you 💖
This is a art work
Your explanations are so detailed..thanks for educating us..really appreciate
Beautiful hair! Amazing technique 🤩
Hi K...I love watching your videos. Thanks for your precise explanation on haircare. Is it better to use the old fashioned pressing comb with the stove or the new electric comb?
I wouldn’t encourage you to use the stove because it does not have a controlled heat setting where the hot comb that are electrical might have a controlled heat setting
I have 4C. My first press didn’t take. I am going to try again. It does take a lot of heat to straighten my (our) hair.
"Beautiful queen with the 4c crown" just subscribed off of that alone!
She is beautiful & her hair looks great 🥰
I love how you do hair your not scissor happy💗
✨ Thank you💖
What does “scissors happy” mean?
@@dreamgirl7022 cutting hair just to be cutting it. Basically, just cutting too much.
I love this! I'm sitting at the salon under the dryer hoping they can make my hair look this good today lol 🤞🏾
💕 beautiful outcome
Thank you so much for sharing about your hair journey. I also thank you explaining about our 4c hair type. Her hair is simply gorgeous.
Thank you for mentioning the part about applying the wax and wearing it styled with curls...
I've been completely natural for a year and 7 months and I recently had a silk press to have my ends trimmed since it hasn't been cut since I went completely natural.
My ends, did not last. The minute I walked out of the salon it started reverting. The hair stylist was great but she didn't know how to help lessen the reverting process.
I am planning to have my hair silk pressed once a month maybe once every second month from now on and your advice will help me greatly.
I experienced the same thing. My hair was so silky & bouncy, the the moment I left the salon my hair reverted back to it's natural state. Even though my hair was pretty, my hair had a hot iron smell (which I did not like). When I go to the salon to get my hair done, I want & like & expect my hair to not only be cleansed, but to also smell clean & nice & fresh! NOTE: I've had my hair silk pressed 3 times & this has happened, so therefore at this point, when I go & get my hair done again, I plan to get a wash & conditioner & a roller rod set.
Very nice! I love that you explain what you're doing with your clients. I was a hairstylist back in the 80s and 90s. I felt it was always necessary to explain to each client, I had in my chair what I was doing to their hair. Most appreciated this.
Your execution of this hairstyle was absolutely fantastic 👏. Your client looked very pleased and beautiful. Thank you for being so professional. 💓
✨ Thank you 💖
You must be the sweetest hairstylist in the world 🥺. I wish nothing but growth and continued success for your business ❤️❤️❤️.
💖 I’ve been natural for 9-10 months now I’m getting my first silk pressed next week. I can wait. Thanks for sharing.
How long does the press last before our hair shrinks back? 😩
This is my texture. I haven’t had my hair straight in 6 yrs. only to do a length check . But it doesn’t stay straight pass 10 minutes 🤣🤣.
Same here sis and I’m so nervous to get my first one In 6/7 years this week
@@JayCCart good luck!! Give a update 😍
@@JayCCart How was it?
Apologize I didn’t even see the update response but wow my hair was bouncy and soft but I think she did cut a fair amount off. In shocked but my hair was to my mid shoulder but cut to the top of my shoulder. Very much damage but I felt a huge relief but my hair definitely need to be trained a few more times to last. I think I had it for 5 days
I love her smile and hair too!
💗 she is so pretty with both styles 🤩🤩
