    Thank you for your review and demo on this hair tool. I have been looking for a good hot dryer hair brush and seen many companies tools and reviews. This one really looked the best to me and the company is a good quality company for the products they sell. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Just purchased mine this morning and can't wait to get it. Round brush drying has always been hard for me and this looks like it would be easier for me to do. Thank you again!

    Enjoyed the video. Hot Tools has a newer version of the Gold that has a barrel about a third smaller. I went with that one because my hair is about your length, but baby fine. I was afraid the one in the video would just be too big. I went with the smaller one and it is perfect! I've only used it twice so am still getting my technique worked out. But my hair is smoother, softer, straighter than ever before. It probably takes me about 1/3 less time than the dryer and round brush, and I expect to cut that time more as I get better with it. I found it on sale at Ulta for $49.99. Great purchase!

    My hair is like yours. I use the Lange 2 in 1. To me it looks like you are working too hard. I do my hair in half the time than when I would use the blow dryer. I set mine on the slower warmer setting. I don’t keep brushing. I roll it, hold it towards the scalp and it’s dry and smooth quickly. I, too, hate products but have now started using one to protect my hair. Enjoy the dryer!

    Just be careful, I've heard from hair professional that these are a hair styling tool, not an actual hair dryer. So hair should be like 80-90% dry before using it. Just like you would with a round brush and hair dryer.

  • @cindyp5132
    @cindyp5132 3 года назад

    Question is after a year whether you're still using it?? I just can't get past the fact that it's not round... I normally use a round brush to give volume (no other tools), and is this going to take so much longer that I end up not using it. It goes on sale tomorrow so I've got to decide.

    • @kaladwarakanath5503

      I know what you mean. I am curious as to why oval shape has become the trend. Do you know? What is its advantage over round?

    • @cindyp5132
      @cindyp5132 2 года назад

      @@kaladwarakanath5503 I did get it and it's all I've been using! What I wish someone had explained is that the oval shape stops the hair from curling under, because the sides are completely flat it straightens & smooths the hair similar to a flat iron. Without flyaways. It is possible to get it to curl (holding it in place) but it's sole purpose isn't volume like a round brush. It still gives some volume but it's not its sole purpose like a round brush. It's interesting and not like anything else I've used. It is big & bulky, but it dries fast. My niece had a round brush dryer & hated it, I got her one of these oval ones & she loves it. And she stopped using her flat iron every day. It's worth a try and great if you get one 50% off! 💞
