I heard a guy say he watches GnW's mouth while ledge trapping. He opens his mouth on everything except jump. He actually bans a specific stage against GnW (Pokemon stadium I believe) because there is a small lip that prevents him from seeing the mouth.
I didnt realize GnW had a mouth until now
@@tryhardpenguin9636 it's literally in his official render what?💀
I clicked the video expecting an April Fools meme, but actually found a goated video. Keep up the good work
The goodest work.
Thank you for making this! I'm working on a guide going into exactly what visual cues to look for and how much frame advantage you can gain from identifying them, so video will be a very useful resource
J ledgetrapping vid?! Can't wait
@@RadagastSSBU same

Do you plan on releasing it soon? Having trouble finding differences/visual cues that are exclusive to certain options
@@sposenju2910 It's a work in progress, and I want to make sure it's thorough before it's released. Most characters are written down though!
One thing I'd like to see from the channel is a series on how to beat annoying as fuck characters. Everyone dreads seeing a steve in their bracket run; I'm sure we all could be happy to get guides on things to look out for.
thank you for offering us this resource Charles! super helpful content :)
the only thing I'd like to put out is it would be nice to have the actual frame data on the side (or colors on the hitbox) to know when said character is vulnerable or in case if colors where they are hittable but i also know how much of work that would be ^^'
Thanks, I was literally just thinking "man I need to get better at ledge trapping" and this video came up for me
This is very good to know, also all of this Charles content holy moly it’s so good
They all look like they have a standard startup animation with few exceptions, mainly just for jump.
Really good video! Will definitely reference this
Such a sick video.
I’m a WiFi warrior I don’t react, I’m going to try my best
WiFi warriors unite!
I thought about a video like this and thank you so much, other idea I got was to talk about the difference between a fast fallers and floaty characters
this is some helpful content! Thank you
timestamp the character this helped you with
Thanks Charles and Bam
can you pls make a video about different ledge hang animations and how to fight against chars (like mythra and cloud) who have super low ledge hangs..
Amazing video...Please don't take this the wrong way, but these would come off as 100x more professional if you cleaned/organized your room in the background or put up a green screen
Hey this is actually helpfull thank you. And also I'm seeing that there something interesting in samus and dark samus in both their ledge jump. The former put her feet in the stage before doing the jump, while dark samus just lifts by using only her arm. This in my opinión make Dark samus a better character in scaping Ledgetraping than samus, because is more easy to recognize samus ledge jump.
Reminder: You can control + F and open description to easily find the characters you're looking for. Since the video is sorted out by "release date" of the character instead of being alphabetically ordered, it may be handy.
Good luck!
It's super funny that this vid got posted the same day I started labbing the lagless ledge get up!! Maybe you guys could look into that more and make a vid about it?
This channel is godlike
This helps so much thank you
how? timestamp the character this helped you with
@@RofICopters why do you care
These videos are fuckin hype
For most characters I find it impossible to tell whether they are going to do a regular getup or a getup attack (for example Roy or Yoshi). Any tips on trying to react to those options anyways or do I just have to accept that these animations are not reactable?
Of course this is assuming I want to directly punish the regular getup rather than set up on them after they used that option.
Gooooaaaaaaattttttteeeeedddd
goat
This video should put each option side by side instead of in sequence.
Ah, I see... The joke is that there *isn't* one.
Step 1. Don't play online
Ah, I can't even get past the first step...
it feels like every other video is full of misinformation
0:54 you are so damn confident in your own BS (even if they don't know they are)
bruh, that's sad
Pro player: "I dont react to those animations"
you: "yes you do! you just don't know it! I'm never wrong!"
Ok but no one asked its just a video for ledgetrap tips and animations of characters
No one cares if the video has some errors
