    I liked Void's example of corner pressure. That actually helped me get rid of my bad habit of just dashing off stage.

    I really enjoy the in-depth of the corner pressure, because it goes over why someone would choose that option to create a situation for their opponent ^^

    • @Zathanex
      @Zathanex 3 года назад

      @@revalone3944 they go hand in hand for sure, but the ledge is a way worse place to be cuz of the lack of options you have to get off it

    This is really nice, the breakdown really makes this easy to understand along with the slowed down play by play. Really help understand how to cover options and why! Man, to think all these layered interactions happen in mere seconds!

    Keep making scenario videos like this, or videos that discuss tech like you did with Gimr. These are much more interesting than talking about Tier Lists, and random other things that aren’t useful to gameplay.

    Holy crap I loved this! So many different videos you can do based off this style too. Loved seeing how different characters and different players cover different options. Charles always articulating the actions and movements on the screen to a tee. Very well spoken and in depth analysis and I eat up every crumb. Lol Would love to see like a top 10 of all different type of topics (edgeguard, ledgetrap, recovery, etc) from different tournament matches really highlighting all of the skill and big brain plays we constantly see that go right over most of our heads. Lol

    These videos are really great. I'd love to also see other "lower effort" videos if that would mean this channel would post more often. VOD reviews of matches (Pro players and 0-2 players are both very insightful), weekly recaps of the (important) tornaments/brackets, or anything really, this team is good and I look forward to seeing more!

    1:51 Why would tea expect a defensive option rather than an OOS option/aggressive option? In my own experience, landing really close to someone with an aerial on their shield winds up with me getting hit/having to evade an offensive option in response

  • @aricting4252

    1:48 besides the fact that it's unconventional for anyone to cross up your opponent while cornering them, I don't understand why anyone would do that. Aren't you cornering yourself? Sure, you have a read that Akakikusu will take centerstage but Tea didn't even go for a dash grab to reset his advantage and now it's just neutral, so didn't Tea fail to corner pressure Akakikusu?

    • @aricting4252
      @aricting4252 3 года назад

      I guess tea didn't want to get shieldgrabbed -> backthrow which is why he crossed up
      but can't Hero upb oos that
