Few people/videos, mention cleaning the new engine out before starting. Which is the most important step to do. My engine was full of dirt but luckily had a balanced crank. I'm still on the same bottom end I bought in 2020. That I ride about every other day.

@@keeganhache6667 Off subject, I wish someone would do a direct comparison video between a G2 , OZ reed and the RSE reed that only has 1 reed pedal set inside. To see if there is any power difference between the 3... Also with & without reed stuffers.
Or at least between a G2 & OZ reed if they don't have an RSE laying around.

Actually Keegan, those are ring locaters not wrist pin locaters, but you know that. Sometimes we all think one thing and say another,🤗 or call someone by a different name.😁 You can call me whatever you want, just don't call me late for dinner.😁

It’s hard when your talking a mile a minute trying to explain port timing lol

FANTASTIC video!! They keep getting better and better! I’m really looking forward to Pt. 2.
I’m really excited to see how the OZ reed performs. Alot of people have recommended it, but there isn’t many info on these reeds, especially when it comes to comparing with other reeds.
I have that same exhaust on the Yd100 and have noticed that it doesn’t have much high RPMs, so this simple fix might fix it. Thanks

Yup and I might even shorten the header down the road easy to do after the fact

expansion chamber should be the start of every 2 stroke tuning, then basic porting like making sleeve windows same as cylinder ports, then (if it is possible) delete the sleeve and you can change scavenging ports
scavenging ports tune gives hilarious power if you know what you are doing
if made wrong, engine can perform worse then stock engine
then you can try to make exhaust duration longer but i think you know that this leads to making low rpm power almost 0
p.s is there any pistons for this engines with windows to work with reed valves?

I have a Honda cr80 and a jog pipe to play with if needed you can buy pre windowed pistons but they tend to break because that bridge in the middle becomes weak with the heat and pressure

I ran the timing numbers in a pipe calculator years ago. Its looong and its belly isnt very big. I forgot the exact numbers.

Oh and by the way my engine it can't be a cold start when it dies at top end because my engine is nice and warm and it still dies at top end.

take the spark plug out and pick up the rear tire by the seat and then kick it overnight ur left foot on the left side of the bike while kicking it over u should see a little spark in between the gap on the plug

      @theLyzhendricks 9 месяцев назад +2

BTW make shure the plug is grounded out on the motor somewhere like the head or cylinder fins

What crank & rod it used in this engine and was the bore 52 or 54mm. Looking at buying one and found it on Amazon but can't find any info about the bore and stroke
