What makes this scene actually really funny is that Emilie (Belle) was uber pregnant at this point and had to act surprised about being told that she's pregnant. Both her and Robert (Rumple) kept laughing whenever they got to that line.

And then Belle is, I agree, incapable of truly accepting him for who he really is. I agree that it is important to have someone to tell what's right and wrong sometimes but she's just tryjng to change him the way she wants him to be instead of just accepting who he really is, and then when he does change she pulls back.
(And why the hell is she taking him being the Dark One again as a betrayal? She left him, he didn't owe her anything at the time. Plus he's an addict, what did you expect girl? That he was gonna live the rest of his mortal life aline after you left him alone and after he had held so much power for centuries? Well no, of course not. That's why I really don't like Belle sometimes, she's incapable of loving Rumple just for who he is.)

Belle needs to realize that both ARE possible. Rumple is never going to be the man she wants him to be, but he can be a better man AND a different man, just not the man she thinks he is. Look, Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold, he is the Dark One yes, he's also a villianous yes, but he can be better, he can change. Everyone on this show is trying to make us believe that Darkness is always evil and Light is always good, but it's not. There are good people(Regina, Dark Swan, even Rumple(in Storybrooke before Season 4))who use Darkness for good(I included Dark Swan because, who are we kidding?)and those who use Light(OUATBelwolf)for evil. Things aren't as black and white as people want us to believe. All I am trying to say is don't believe that Rumple can't change and be better, cause he can. Just sometimes, he also goes Evil Rumple, but hey, that's who he is. If I'm wrong someone tell me that or leave a comment about this or anyother you may have.

Its more so in the fact that he lies to her constantly, manipulates her and pretends to be doing it for her benefit. Maybe if he were honesy like in this scene instead of pretending the entire show like he's going to chabge or he has changed ore wants to change it wouldnt be so bad. But he's spent 5 seasons pretending. Like damn stop dragging the girl along and another thing is that these are her friends. She really cares about those people but hes always hurting them. Even his own grandson.

I can see why so many people love this relationship. I mean Belle has always fallen in love with men who later reveal themseleves to be "beasts". Rumple made a good point. Belle loved the man but she loved the beast at the same time. But deep down she probably knew this or at least acknowledged it and was afraid to admit she wanted both so she hoped that Rumple would be more man than beast so she didn't have to admit she loved the beast too. _WOW_ that's a leap. I mean, sure, the story recquired that Bell found out, but holy crap, that was out of nowhere. I mean... _WE_ know Gold's the Dark One again, but Belle didn't. So when Rumple said: "I'll use all my power", based on what she knows and how Rumple phrased it, "power" could mean a myriad of things. He was a man of significant standing and considerable influence in Storybrooke before magic came to Storybrooke, that wouldn't have changed; he could be talking about his sway/alliance with the heroes, or to use his monetary means to pay someone to help them out of the situation. When everyone goes around thinking that the Darkness was destroyed when Hook died, the _word_ "power" doesn't equal "I am the Dark One." The fudge?!

He literally told her she's having a baby in the same breath as telling her he ALREADY sacrificed its life without her consent to bring back his dead son. Why is she supposed to be happy with him??? He just told her "you're having a baby, and it's already doomed to die because I'm selfish".
He is not being a good person in this scene - he's hurting her, AGAIN, just like he always has, because she's always forgiven him and now he thinks he can do whatever he wants. Even sell her baby. This is abuse, not a happy romance. He literally thinks he can do whatever he wants to her regardless of how she feels, and she'll just put up with it.

She can't condemn him for that, it was before she was even born. He thought he would never have a second child at the time, plus the other guy is dead.
If you want to blame someone blame Emma.
She is the one who threaten to use Belle to blackmail Rumple into coming in the Underworld, in order to save Hook. She forces Rumple to go save a man who took his wife away (sure she wanted to leave but Hook knew she was married and had a son, so it was wrong) and triwd to kill him for centuries. Hook did just almost condemn them all to the Underworld.
Had she just accepted the truth that Hook would've died anyway and that he hadn't been a hero but just owned up to his mistake, she wouldn't have bring them all on this stupid quest and Hades wouldn't now be trying to get Rumple's child.

What is that supposed to mean?!
Of course he made this deal long before Belle was born.
Of course, he thought at the time that he would never have a second-born anyway.
But that doesn't make things any better for Belle at all.
Why? Because now she has to suffer because of it.
He and Milah could have just taken better care of Bae, then he wouldn't have been bitten in the first place.
And why should anyone be angry with Emma now?
She didn't know about this deal Rumple had made back then either.
I mean, this guy has more skeletons in his closet than any other character on this show, after all.
Because Rumple screwed her and Killian and everyone else over yet again, Killian died for nothing.
Why, exactly, should Emma just accept something like that?
And doesn't the wife deserve to know what the great hubby has been up to again?
And Killian didn't "take" Milah, she went with him willingly.
If then you should hate them both for leaving Rumple and Bae.
It wasn't directly Hook who almost sent them all to the underworld, but the darkness or Nimue and the other Dark Ones.
That darkness that Rumple had saved from annihilation anyway.
Killian was merely more susceptible to falling prey to darkness because of his dark past.
The whole thing started in the first place because the others had saved Rumple's heart from total darkening!
And this despite what he had just pulled with Ursula, Cruella and Malificent and the "Heroes and Villains" book.
You shouldn't judge someone because of what they are, but because of what they do.
And when you forgive someone again and again and again and they stab you in the back again and again and again then you have every right to be pissed.
And you shouldn't just judge by the actions, you should also watch out how.
When people like Regina, or at that time The Evil Queen and Rumpelstiltskin, commit countless atrocities and you say to them, " Well, they're villains, that's how they are," but when people like the Charmings screw up, like the thing with Malificent's child, there' s an instant hatred for them.

I've kind of blocked out season 7, but didn't he die to save everyone in the end? For the second time, I might add. And I never saw him as a coward for leaving the war. Yes he was scared, but he still went and didn't hurt himself until after he was told his child would be left fatherless. Honestly, if I had a choice between possibly dying or running so I'd be around to raise my son, I'd run. It's not like Mila was mother of the year material. Her telling Rumple she'd essentially have preferred he died in the war tells you everything you need to know.
