Coral Roper No, there isn't. He had his time in season 5A. For once, the Darkness wasn't messing around with him. He had no personal reason to take it. He just did, because he wanted to. He is not going to have a happy ending.
I just love the look on his face when she walks in and he recognizes her. The whole cast is very talented but he has to be my favorite actor on the show. I also love the way he says, "And I Love you too". Not very overly dramatic or necessarily romantic but very honest and natural like the two of them had not just been reunited after being separated for over 20 years.

I love how he tries to hide the bottle with true love's magic in it, when he heard "someone" come into the shop. He didn't know it'd be Belle. Then he doesn't mind taking her with him and sharing with her what he was about to do. Like he knows she can be trusted. =D
I really liked the way they ended season one. Having Belle and Rumple/Gold reunite and admit their love for one another, it was like a ' little kiss' from the writers/creators to all the Rumbelle fans...love,love,love Rumbelle!

I was so glad Jefferson FINALLY made a move to get his revenge on Regina. She's betrayed him twice now. He's had to spend 28 years without his daughter because of her. Girlfriend needs to pay.
It was like, she remembered him, they hugged and kissed, go back to his shop, she changes her clothes (all in a matter of probably an hour) and boom, he says something not nice and out the door she goes.
I thought Belle was being too hard on him for wanting revenge on Regina. I know she's suppose to be good hearted but it seems his main motivate was to get back at her for what she did to Belle.
I love their love, it's so pure and beautiful. And even though it's so horrible, it just feels stronger and even more sad after the queen lies to him about Belle. Once Upon a Time really knows how to make something over the top sad. To love someone, think she's dead and when you get her she can't remember you... that's some true imagination right there ;)
the first episode with Belle had only just aired in the UK...but i refused to wait. this is just magical in it's awesomeness. oh happy times for rumple and Belle...hopefully xx
Great way to cast off a very strong first season. We got what wanted, Rumple and Belle are together again but there are still a lot of questions that need answered, which is a very good thing. It's always good having questions leading into a new season. I expect to see a lot of Rumple/Belle in season and eventually finding out the status of Baelfile. I think a major story for season 2 will be Rumple having to choose between being human and happy with Belle & Baelfire or his powers.
Rumbelle forever 3 I absolutely love all their sweet moments together, especially when they reunited at Gold's pawn shop. I wish their kiss scene was tagged at the end but alas it was moved to second season. I look forward to another heart-melting reunion for Rumbelle when Gold comes back and Belle remembers everything.

Glad to see them back together. Skin Deep was the episode that really got me hooked on this show and I became more interested in Rumple/Belle then pretty much any other story in the show. I think season 2 it will ultimately be decision time for Mr. Gold, give up his power and FINALLY be happy with Belle & Bae, yes I think he will find him in season 2, or keep his magic and be alone.

Rumplestiltskin was the BEST character and his story with Belle had made him even BETTER. But that was season 1 and 2 and now in season 6, I want them to fix things but man Rumple is just being a GARBAGE person rather than aloof and powerful like he used to be.

At the end where he tells Belle he loves her then he drops the potion in the well to bring the magic my daughter said..."Mr Gold wants to have his cake and eat it too"....and that really does sort of fit for him.
Yes, it was intentional when they referenced ' One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'. In the box set of season one, Jane Espenson (writer) does a commentary with Robert Carlyle about that episode and wondered whether or not the younger audience would recognize it.

Damn. I am about halfway through season two and just realized the colors of rumple's shirt and tie are a reference to the colors the beast wore in Beauty and the beast.
I think the fact he brought magic back for power means he isn't done screwing up yet. :) Season 2 should be interesting!
