To be fair, the evil guys are the only smart ones in the show. Good somehow means a huge intelligence drop. It's ridiculously annoying they keep trying to stop each other from hurting bad people because oh no that just makes you as evil as they are :( Also they completely fall for EVERYTHING. The moment Rumple turns good for Belle he's completely incompetent and loses every scheming bone in his body. He turns evil and suddenly he's a master puppeteer again. And Regina and most other magic users completely forget they can paralyze their enemies or heal. Seriously half the time they have a hostage situation and forget they can just FREEZE them and throw them aside like ragdolls.
Honestly, the most interesting characters in this show are all evil, Rumple, Hades and Zelena (when she was evil). I stop watching after the death of Hades. I was sad Zelena has chosen Regina over Hades, because I think he really loved her. He was like Rumple, wanted both power and love.
Gaston was already dead and the river he fell to was a river of lost sous and a person who touch the water will go to a worse place than Underworld and will suffer forever.
