It’s funny I said “I’ll never like her like how I now love Regina” and that’s exactly what happened! I couldn’t stand Regina and then in the season 2 finale I fell in love and then seeing her in Neverland be all tiger mom was the lock in for me !
I believe him. He did love her, and he was completely entranced with her. Hell he's fairly similar to Rumple - he doesn't want to let go of power, and frankly love only makes him hungrier for it, not because the love isn't enough, but because he wants to USE that power to give their lovers everything they want. Hades wants to give Zelena, the girl who was born with nothing, everything.
I know they're villains and not so many people like them but, still they have a great chemistry😍and it's not even like those villainy Evily love stories either where everything is just flirting and talking about wicked goals, they really do share an emotional connection💗💗💗
Anybody else notice that Zades is a parallel to Dark Swan and Hook? Only Hades wants her and she doesn't want him like Hook didn't want Dark Swan and everything he did in the Underworld was for her in the same way Dark Swan did everything for Hook after Camelot. Also when they go on the bike together, it reflects how Emma went on the horse with Hook in Camelot! Beautiful!

I'm pretty excited to see what comes out of this. My sister and I think he's bluffing a little bit, because he did say that he'd get revenge/that she'd pay for it/ that she'd regret pushing him away (etc.), but I'm such a romantic, I really LOVE this... weird.... random.... awkwardly necessary-to-my-life couple. I read a fan theory that explained (if I remember correctly) that, if Zelena became a "hero", she'd try to kiss Hades with the purpose of giving him that time spell he wanted to enact, but it would "cure" him, making his heart whole again, so that he'd continue being the ruler of the Underworld, but that he'd try to help people get to a better place rather than try to keep those souls as prisoners. I really like this theory.... And I'm very curious to see how Hades will eventually be defeated.

And then an elegantly dressed, beautiful young woman walks in like there's nothing unusual about this at all and continues: "I mean, I will, at least, get to keep my garden, won't I? Or, will we be sharing it now?" Turns to Zelena, sees her expression, turns to Hades feigning surprise "Oh..didn't he mention me? My how embarrassing....well, there's no time like the present, now is there? I'm his wife. My name is Persophone."

My theory: Zelena will name her kid April, which will allow Hades to put her tombstone. Regina wont be able to take the girl to Storybrooke. And Hades wont be defeated, but cured with a TLK.

Okay, consider the myths here. IF Hades and Zelena had worked out, she would have been the Persephone of Once Upon a Time, right? Persephone, Goddess of Spring, was also known as Kore before she married - Kore, meaning "the maiden," a virgin.... someone INNOCENT. Zelena is the Witch of Innocence. Zelena is also GREEN. Cora, her mother, specifically used tree roots to hold people in place, and Regina did too, as well as using apples. Plant powers run in Zelena's family. She actually makes the perfect Persephone. I wonder what her powers would have been if she and Hades had actually worked out. Would she have gotten a power boost? Brought life to the Underworld? Visited her family in the Overworld half the time (or maybe just for spring?) I REALLY wish it had worked out, because the possibilities are so intriguing. That and I LOVED this couple. He truly did love Zelena. He just was so focused on doing things his way he couldn't think outside the box. :(

I loved three Underworld plotline, it was the only good thing to come after the Neverland plot.
