Not surprised the Universal Motorgerät did this easy. Hughe tires, good flex and portals combined with low gearing. Compared to the Mercedes test courses for the Unimog this looks easy.
I feel sorry for the white double cab pickup, especially around 6:41. Mogs had some weaker moments, shaking tree etc. But in general even the one which looks like it got just released from army (weak stock tires, bull bar etc), even that one walked some of the passages with ease and calm looking. While pickup tried hard and failed.
@@ThaboNelmeanshappiness just looked to be slower than first gear. When I get over there I’ll have to test my U1300L with working gears. :) Looks like an awesome spot for some experimenting and driver training.
Amazing video Thabo, I really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Beautiful trucks ❤
It's funny how easy a stock Unimog makes a 5 Ways look 🤣 Some of those lines can make a fully built 4x4 pause.
They are astonishing machines.
Awesome Teamwork nicely done!!
That dual cab mog is
Same mind here! Looks solid

Was there a BBQ on on of the single cab unimog? :)
Yeah, Department of Transport approved BBQ!
looks like that was a great weekend
Proper 4x4s 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Another great video mate. What tyre pressure did you end up running the stick rims at?
Thanks, I set it to 40, and will go to 30 next time, it's about experimenting and seeing what works.
Ran the stock standards with omnitracks down to 30 front & rear (standard mog with canopy in the video)

Yeah the mogs are ridiculously capable.
Thanks👍
Is the DOKA extended it looks so long compared to mine :)
No it's a 1700, yours may be a 1300
Needs to change the name to "Unimog Hill"
Does the Doka has working group gears?
Normal gearbox and engine, no tunes or anything. Stock.
no, totally stock of only 2 that are in private hands.

@@andrefischer5025 It is, I'm definately going back to drive all the drives, my next video is how we came a cropper on a track in the bush.
If a unimog cant take it on, not much short of a tracked vehicle can...
Or a good winch 😂
Are you guys unfamiliar with momentum? Traction only cannot help you claimb, you need momentum.
Where is it?
