Thanks! The backside 360 is super easy to throw but it’s really hard to land cause of the wing position, but I really want to get it with the grab! I take some rough crashes on that trick. Roby Sullini is really smooth on the regular backside 360. You don’t see a lot of people throw it that often because it is hard to land clean. Or you’ll see them cut away before the landing!
Hey Rob! What a great video. Ive been to the lake a few times with the ex wife but never have had the opportunity to sail there. There is something magical about that place. I have free dived, jet skied, swam long distance and cliff dived there. I think it is the most relaxed I have ever been. Getting my 4runner back on the road to do exactly what you are doing,
I recently bought a High Pressure 5L Outdoor Portable Water tank with Spray nozzle. It's great for spraying down the gear and booties when I'm done. I can fill it up at the shoreline (if the lake is clean).
Been watching a lot of your videos lately, great work! One suggestion along this theme would be mini 'site guides' to winging spots within 5 to 6 hours of LA. Seems like a lot of options with Central California, northern Baja and the various reservoirs in. Winging is so new that there really isn't anything out there that talks about the various spots, the season, and the wind patterns that you could expect. Thanks!
didn't see anything about a first aid kit. That can be pretty handy when you are remote. I split my face open in the Gorge and didn't even have a band aid. Thanks for posting the videos! they are really helpful!!
That’s a great point. You would think as a medical professional I would have included that. I keep a face shield/gloves for CPR in my car but not much else. Definitely a good chance of lacerations from foils (or worse). So supplies to control bleeding would be good. Control bleeding and get to the ER as quickly as possible is usually the best course of action. I’ve thought about keeping a suture kit in the car for foil wounds though!
For sure. But that comes with some downsides too. Worse gas mileage, less incognito for camping or thieves, more time to pack up gear, and the board doesn’t take up too much more room than the rest of the gear.
Great video Rob (as always). That backside 360 looks legit!

That’s awesome, Ken! It’s really such a great big oasis in the middle of the desert. I’m just waiting for the right chance to wing the whole length.

Great tip. I haven’t tried one but sounds useful.

That’s a cool idea. I’ll think about adding some stuff like that.

Having a roof rack for your board will greatly increase your sleeping space..🤔🙄 Right? 😎😁
