Hello everyone! Thank you so much for watching and all the support. Please, please, please ignore any telegram comments you receive by “me”- it’s a fake account. Thank you & take care ❤
Today I also received a message for winner of camping gears.Once I replied on another channel, they asked for shipment charges like US$60/.People should aware of such a fake account.
@Girl Outdoors I think there is a scammer try to use your Channel profile photo to scam people. I jut got a reply on my comment form him telling me that I won a Camping Gears. Take care guys
Might be worth fitting a CB radio. They are cheap, licence-free, great for comms when travelling as a group and something to just play around with when you're bored. On my camper my CB antenna acts as an emergency height-warning. If I'm going under something low I drive very slowly with the window open. If I hear the antenna 'twang' I know I have to get out and check for the safety of my solar-panel, rooflight, etc... No extra carriage and can be a bit of fun... 👍
Ahhh the love affair with the Scottish Highlands never wanes or becomes stale. The passion deepens and the love of the natural life fills your soul forever. ❤
Excellent video, thanks for sharing. Scotland's a brilliant country. Few years ago I backpacked coast to coast for 10days, it was May and the weather threw everything at me from heatstroke to blizzards, and that was within 48hrs but It was amazing, the countryside away from city's and crowds just keeps on giving.
Aww bless u Becky with Ur alone time but so exhilarating. Love Scotland and seeing the views u give us ... I went all over Scotland on holidays years ago . Percy is built for there but understand Ur concerns but the longer u have him the more u will bond and trust his abilities . 💪👍🚙
Get a cover for your bicycle to protect it from all the road crud. Looks like you got Percy well decked out with most of the comforts of home. A visit to your favorite hut was great. Looking forward to many more adventure videos. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
Honesty, I simply missed you, Becky. You are all so cute. The dream princess that hike, bike and drive through all nature's terrains, in every possible weather. Her shining smile, and sparkling eyes , lay me down easy, in my mind. Enjoy listening to you. Appreciate you. Please consider, a security measure, since you don't keep a dog. a PIR sensor, remote chime. Waterproof. You place the PIR sensor anywhere around your car. You place the chime unit anywhere near you, where you sleep. If you have 3 sets of pir+chime, no one can sneak on you. the unit is in the size of a cigarette box, works on AA/6Lr61 batteries.
Another great video Becky. So proud of everything you do. I’m confident that nothing can stop you from living a beautiful life and exploring this world. You are so inspiring Becky. ❤️🌹🌹❤️
My daughter is your age and I couldn't sleep at night if she took off and went adventurous, hats off to you and stay safe Simply wonderful to see a young person appreciating this great British land we have 🌈👌
Really love your videos, so calm and relaxing. I've been watching for a few years now and I can also say, your film making and production values have really come on. I really love the scenic views and editing you are doing in these videos. Thankyou!
Brilliant video such a lovely place I returned from the highlands at the end of feb, watching this makes me want to go back, can’t wait to to see more, brilliant!!
Fabulous video Becky. Scotland is like a magnet. We all fall in love with the place. It is just Awesome. Everything about the place is beautiful. Keep loving the adventure Safe Travels
I wouldn’t go off trail with your vehicle. You can walk or bike the trails. Keep it to the occasional forest tracks for your precious Land Rover, Percy. The classic from Tentbox is brilliant. It’s so easy to put up and down, and you can buy a liner to get extra insulation from the cold. 👍
Hi Becky, great video. I normally spend two months in Highlands every year & wild camp in my conversion. I never get bored & miss it terribly. Sussed all the free water collection points without bringing attention to myself. The only warning I can give to you in Highlands as you are probably aware of is strong winds. I had strong winds catch my vehicle drivers door when opening it to get out of vehicle & door was ripped from my hand. It severely damaged my door & wing. I had to ratchet strap front driver's door too passenger seat to be able to drive van safety until I was in a safe spot. Door wouldn't shut on latch & was out of alignment. It took me two hours just to secure door shut in strong winds & pouring rain with no protective clothing Doh! I had to use all my body weight & just managed to close door with the wind pushing against. Absolute nightmare & terrifying. I am trying to think of a safe solution to remedy this to stop it happening again. This happened to me on a high point on Skye last November & at the Cairngorm mountains the previous year. Silly thing is you get immune to the noise of the strong winds when in your vehicle & forget how strong the winds really are until you get outside of vehicle & are being blown around like a ragdoll. When talking to a fellow van/tourist who offered me help said he witnessed the same thing the day before with a holiday maker who's vehicle had to be put on a recovery vehicle & their holiday had to be cut short. When I look back now both times I was extremely lucky & could carry on my adventures.
Great video, beautiful part of the country. But from my own experience, if going out remote places in a discovery 2, make a breakdown kit, socket set, spanner’s, most common being 8,10,13,15,17,21 if I recall. Battery boost pack, hose repair kit, spare water, bottle of K seal or similar radiator stop leak, not ideal but can get you home/ to garage, spare in tank fuel pump, there only cheap for td5 a and fail quite often, 20 min job to swap but if that fails you will need recovery, Also look in paperwork for your EKA code, it’s a thing you do if immobiliser goes pear shaped and you put key in lock and turn it left and right in a sequence to get you in car and started etc. again it’s common to play up on disco 2s. I’m sure there’s few things iv missed but definitely carry it because if you go of road and break down, no phone signal, and if it needs low loader how can it get there if it’s remote location.
I look forward to the build. I've just spent the last 5 months in my truck, including 3 in Morocco. One thing that surprised me is how little I used the RTT. Good to see another full time 4x4 dweller out there.
I’m born and raised in Fort William, still live there to this date. It brings me so much joy watching your videos and your love that you have for Scotland. It truly is a beautiful country ❤️😁
After viewing this and your tight quarters in Percy and the raw dampness, long drive and overdose of nature….I’m definitely ready to come back to reality and appreciate it even more….ie. Sitting in my inviting living space & setting myself down next to my roaring wood-stove reading a book or crocheting…followed by a retreat to my cozy bedroom and soft snuggly bed. I love to be able to get away virtually but I love my reality. 😊 I’m thrilled that you are enjoying your so much but honestly it’s truly not for me. Happy travels!
Awesome Becky! Your enthusiasm for getting out and just enjoying the outdoors and nature is indeed exceedingly inspiring! Loving your story and Videos of everything you’re attempting is just wonder(full)! Thanks for taking us all along with you on your amazing journey! Take care! 🚙🚲👣⛺️🦉👍😎
It's great to see someone making the most of life, especially when your enthusiasm is so infectious. You've done a fantastic job with Percy, though you might just want to get a tailboard with your registration on it, just to keep plod happy.
I just found a new project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike, and I am really impressed with its outstanding features! The fact that it can be charged indoors is a game-changer. Plus, the brushless 750W motor and 80Nm torque provide an exhilarating speed and power. The 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires ensure a smooth ride on any terrain. The IPX5 Waterproof finish adds durability, making it perfect for outdoor adventures. And the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature not only helps achieve fitness goals but also keeps you motivated. I'm excited about the positive impact on the environment, converting calories burned into CO2-free miles. Overall, this e-bike seems to offer a revolutionary experience for outdoor enthusiasts like me. Keep up the great work, freebeat!
New to your channel and watched a few videos now. Love Sctoaland and miss it. Great to see your adventures. Fingers crossed I will be getting my own Landie this year. See you on the road.
Hi Becky I really admire the spirit and enthusiasm you have for the great outdoors. I to have a disco 2 and converted it for over landing, I have been to the Alps, Pyrenees, Portugal and I’m off to Morocco at the end of this month for another adventure! I can highly recommend the Pyrenees for a long sustained overland trip, it’s stunning up in the mountains and the tracks and trails are easily within your capabilities! Kind regards Eamonn.
Eva zu Beck has a pop top, so they take your roof and then the tent is “inside” your vehicle. I would prefer that to hoisting everything up to a rooftop tent personally. And it allows you to stand up in your car.
Hi Becky, just stumbled onto this video of yours, I look forward to seeing more, and looking at your past videos. Others probably already mentioned, but the 'old man's beard' is called lichen (at least here in the U.S.), and you're right about it being an indicator of the air quality. Over here in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range (California), we have that color, but also a beautiful (and healthy) bright vibrant green.
This dazzling nature, which makes this place one of the most beautiful places in the world. Combined with its young and lively beauty, it enchants me, congratulations!!!🥰🇧🇷😘
Have you seen the Tesla Cybertruck. ? no oil leaks, fan belts, no fumes, and with a solar panel you could be off grid, off road, and big enough to sleep in, or tent next to
My husband and I love watching your videos! As avid campers in Northern California we relate to the natural beauty and fun challenges that outdoor living brings. Enjoy! - Claire and Patrick
Can't believe it's 3 years since WHW, that's the video of yours that brought me here and I'm ashamed to admit I still haven't done it myself! I know you love the Highlands Becky (and quite rightly!) but there are loads of hills and trails in the lowlands as well that are worth checking out if you want to break up your journeys, many of the Donald hills are very close to the motorway so not far off the route North/South.
I think you should have a huge roof box on top and live in Piercy. The box of course for all your gear and your small living space in Piercy can just be that. Less rearranging. And if you arrive somewhere really late all you need to do is climb in the back and draw the curtains. You're living my dream and I love watching you do it.
Good afternoon Becky. Wonderful video. I'm happy to see you're doing well there in the Scottish Highlands. Thanks so much for sharing a look at your journey enjoying the beautiful parts of outdoors and nature, solo camping, you multi-talented self-sufficient young woman. 😉
... Interesting new direction to explore the woods and wild .... yes on the rooftop tent , will open the inside to other needed gear .. If travelling offroad alone ,, be sure the have basic tool set on board and commo N repair items ...belts ,cooling sys. hoses etc... ..suggest a HD front bumper and a winch and a pair of traction boards mounted somewhere in or out ...they can make a difference in sand..snow..mud or just plain rough terrain ... ..So good to hear you making experienced decisions of the trek in tough conditions ... best to live to hike another day ...
Great video Becky. Love your style and spirit. Percy is a very handy bit of kit. Looks cozy and warm. Beautiful shots of my favourite places and your adventures.
Lovely video! Great to see that you’ve chosen to return to Scotland and are enjoying the ever changing climate. If you want to brush up on your off road skills and techniques, Land Rover Experience Scotland is at Butterstone Loch, Dunkeld in Perthshire, could be well worth considering. Stay safe and enjoy!
Cracking video Becky such an amazing place no wonder you go back there all the time a good base to sort out your stuff and still get out for a bike ride and a nice walk looking forward to seeing your next video mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Hi Becky, have you thought about 1 of those Garmin devices that you can press a button if you're in trouble, they link to satellites I think so if you don't have phone signal they work? ... Think its called Garmin Reach ? .. - just in case you're ever injured you will get rescued, expedition people use them ...
You are a very blessed young lady. So happy I found your channel! I can live thru you! Btw,EvaZu beck put a rooftop tent on her rig,and she's really happy with it!
When I was young like you are now, I also had big plans for the future, unfortunately I couldn't afford to relax them at all. You have it and you know how to make it work financially, all I can say is do it. That house you were in up in Scotland you've been before I can see it's a fantastic house next to a river, you've never thought of buying it.
If you want to head off maintained roads into the wild there is one piece of gear you can learn to use which is more important than anything (except your InReach), and it's not a winch - it's vbar tire chains. Combined with a shovel and jack you will be ready for anything! The secret to successful 4x4ing is driving as slow as possible, and only as fast as necessary. If you could walk faster you're doing it right! That will prevent most damage that you might do to Percy.
Said it before but I'd bet EVERYBODY who's damaged their 4x4 off-road has thought to themselves "Oooh, I'm not sure about this!" and then they've carried on and ended-up damaging their car. Always rely on your own judgement when it comes to taking your Disco' off-road. It's a VERY capable off-roader but it's also your shelter and your transport so you don't want to risk damaging it unnecessarily. Once you've been down a few tracks you'll learn about things like traction, ground-clearance, lean angles, speed and approach and departure angles. Take it easy, always err on the side of caution and experience will bring confidence. 😀
Ah Becky so lovely seeing you back in Scotland. And with your new vehicle. I have to say I always feel the same when I head back to glencoe. I try and get there ever few months. It’s amazing to get back and see the trail of the WHW. Another beautifully made video. Thank you for the time you take in bringing such fantastic content. Take care and enjoy your adventures ❤
It's nice to see you back out walking. I seem to remember Ray mears saying when you have a fire Don't forget to keep your back warm. So it maybe a good idea to have a camp chair if you have space in your Landover. Plus maybe you could take a small tent with you if your going out in the hills walking just incase you get suck or have to shelter it's just a thought. I first saw your video when you did that walk in Scotland Fort William to the other place and I was hooked it kept me sane through lockdown to be able to see the mountains. Keep up the good work and stay safe
Wow, you're a lucky lady. I have just bought a Nissan Xtrail and going to use that for mini house, Can't Wait. can you tell me the music that was used at the 15:44 mark, that goes really well with the stunning background Becky

Roof top tents are great, I almost went for one but don't have anywhere to store it off the vehicle.
Beautiful videos Becky, the Scottish Tourist Board should be paying you..
All the very best for the future, stick to what u enjoy, live the dream your creating great memories....
Love your enthusiasm gal , crack on and live ya life 👍
Love it. Well done. Those hills are very hard. Steep climbs. And good choice on the descent.

It's great to see someone making the most of life, especially when your enthusiasm is so infectious. You've done a fantastic job with Percy, though you might just want to get a tailboard with your registration on it, just to keep plod happy.
It certainly is a breathtaking part of the world. Looking forward to the rest of your adventures 😊
You have done a great job on your Land Rover. Looks great. 👍🏽
Scotland is so beautiful 😆❤️

I really admire the spirit and enthusiasm you have for the great outdoors.
I to have a disco 2 and converted it for over landing, I have been to the Alps, Pyrenees, Portugal and I’m off to Morocco at the end of this month for another adventure!

Hi Becky it would help you to know some basic landrover maintenance, believe me it will come in handy.
What a lovely video, Becky! Scotland is so amazing
Thank you Shanti :)
Hello from South Alabama here in America. Love and light to all ❤. Keep up the great adventures and roll with the punches in the wilderness.
Hello Becky. What a lovely video !!! 🥰
Amazingly beautiful spots 😎👍🏻
Lovely video again. As you say Scotland is stunning.
Brilliant video. Well done. Wel to our beautiful and a bit wet at times country
The Landy is sure coming in handy……..Handy Landy 🤪
Thank you so much! ❤️
Love these videos. You’re a natural.
Wow, you're a lucky lady. I have just bought a Nissan Xtrail and going to use that for mini house, Can't Wait. can you tell me the music that was used at the 15:44 mark, that goes really well with the stunning background Becky
