Good review. I tried this board alongside the Orca and Gremlin as well. I found it kind of in the middle. The Orca is surfier and the Gremlin is a better bomber. I found the DH to be a good compromise between the two of playfulness and stability. This to me is a great choice for smaller midwest hills where you want to do a little of everything but you're not specializing in one thing.
It's such a tough call. If Salomon put a little extra rubber under the inserts it would be the Pro all day but as it stands it was a super tough decision.

Never tried the Almanac so can't say. Biru is stiffer than the Dancehaul.
James, will you be testing the almanac from k2? Torn between that and the dancehaul..

Hmmmm I’m so torn between reg and pro I want the smoother ride but I like the sound of more pop in the pro , plus the design is a lot better for pro
