    TJ is my favourite person to watch ride. Super skilled and everything looks insanely smooth, but its not unrealistic like the stuff you see Redbull athletes or other pros doing. It's aspirational, whereas watching those other dudes feels like watching a video game. Will always watch these videos even if I'm not interested in the board. You're the man TJ!

    I'm glad you mentioned the edge hold of 3BT at 6:40 . Let's put to rest the myth that 3BT is loose or "hard to control". The 3BT is technically outside of the conventional contact points, so it shouldn't affect your edge hold or control. If you haven't tried 3BT, give it a try. You'll probably be amazed.

      I think once you figure out the pressure adjustment it holds a great edge!

    This is the evil twin+ 22/23 - 24/25 is just about to drop, timing kinda sus to reup old content ngl.
    For those wondering - 22/23 is not the same shape as 24/25 ET+.
    However 23/24 and 24/25 ET+ is the same shape!
    I got 23/24 ET - getting ET+ 24/25 this season - I can absolutely recommend the ET for a daily resort driver - 3BT great for groomers, butters, rails, jumps (S,M,L)🤙

    I’ve tested regular evil twin 154 being same size as you. I washed out a lot and the board has poor pop compared to other boards guess I have to try the + version

    Whats a good binding to pair with this thing? I was looking nidecker supermatics, but wondering if something more traditional like the Union Ultras may be better

    Hey TJ,
    I’m about the same size as you but with a bigger boot size at US10.5!
    Would you recommend sizing up to 157 to reduce the heel and toe drag??

    I rided this board for 2 seasons until it broke (it broke in the location you would flex the board, weirdly it became easier to load the board up and do switch nollies when it cracked lol). I am planning to ride huck knife next season, how would you compare this board to regular HK @BoardAchive ? Thanks for the review!

    I picked up this board for 250$ brand new from a guy who never rode it. I'm a newer rider (10 days), and I just have got some more confidence getting in the air on my other board (DOA). Will this board be okay for me all over the mountain or am I limited to just the park?

    Hey TJ! Newer snowboarder here with a question regarding Bataleon boards. Ive got a 151 Disaster, wondering if the reference stance on these boards are generally wider than other brands? My reference is 22.5 and I find this to be quite wide considering the size of the board, though I do want to stick to reference as I've read it unlocks the boards full potential. I wouldn't say it's extremely uncomfortable at this width, but I am quite slim at 5'10 140lbs, wondering if riding this board at say a 21" stance would be detrimental to its performance. Any info would be great! thanks man

      I didn't find the reference stance on the disaster to feel particularly wide, but 22.5 is definitely very wide for a 151. I usually ride around a 21.5. I would set it up at the width you typically prefer and see how it feels, it wont cause you any problems to go with a bit of a narrower stance. Especially if it feels better for you

    Do you think it's harder to tune do to the beveled up base/nose of the board ?

    • @BoardArchive
      @BoardArchive  3 месяца назад

      no the 3BT doesn't really make it more difficult to tune

    Just picked up an Evil Twin 23-24 on labor day sale.
    Do I need to wax it before taking it out?

      Just ride, don't worry about it.

      if it looks "dry" or "ashy" then yeah its worth getting a wax

    • @BoardArchive
      @BoardArchive  3 месяца назад +1

      you can probably get a way with a few days of riding on the factory wax! But a fresh wax never hurts!

    Not recommended on icy conditions.
