It didn't take it long to dial this bad boy in where I could get that classic hard rock sound that I was looking for. Do yourself a favor and get this pedal, especially at that great price. This probably isn’t what it is going to be, but I’m going to go with the Olympus: TC electronics first foray into the modern multi effect unit scene since the Nova System in the G system!
I owned a real Klon and used it with bass. It rolled off the lows. In fact, Bill Finnegan told me NOT to use a regular Klon Centaur with bass. I have ordered a Zeus since it has a fat mod switch (and cost about $60usd!!!)
Klon Clone pedals give some EQ shaping which makes you lose low end and gain mids making the sound more pronounced, good for Guitar but on Bass you probably want your low end intact, no idea if the Fat-Switch will deliver that. I mean it's a different price range but EQD Dunes Overdrive does a great job with the Bandwidth switch where you can choose between losing low end and boosting low end, that's what i use for Bass. Or have a look at Darkglass pedals, these are great for blending dry and driven bass sound.
