I have this Pedal already and never noticed the switch issue you mention as for me it's an always on pedal.. Gain on 9 o clock, Volume on 1 o clock and Treble on 2 o clock.. Fat switch OFF for active or humbuckers and fat switch ON for single coils.. I have more expensive klon clones but Zeus is killer. Trust me. I've been playing and giging since 1968.... Zeus is hard to beat at any price. Just find the sweet spots that suit you are your guitar. The sweet spot is often a "fraction" of a turn away or one notch on the dial... Just listen for it.. Its there..
Thank you for this upload. This is the best TC Zeus demo pedal, I’ve been on the fence about getting this one. But you’re in-depth breakdown really help me decide on purchasing it.
It sucks you tube's lame algorithm is messing with your channel. You've been covering some really cool pedals that other channels haven't. I've been a fan of yours since you had Ryan autograph your 50/50 pedal. You're fun and you're honest. I hope more people find you. What the Zeus!?!
What the zeus - would love for TC to make more of their affordable pedals in this form. The previous size just takes up too much pedal board real estate... Oh - thanks for this video review. Will definitely get one as a result.
Good demo. I really like the idea of mixing the dry and wet signals. A comparison with a Tumnus would be appreciated. I can't help myself and am still after the Holy Grail of drive pedals - that late 60s early 70s rock sound. I have this hunch that with a good Klon, a boost and a cranked amp I can get rid of loads of gear I've bought over the years.
What the Zeus!!! I just pre-ordered one, like I really need another dirt pedal! 😜 I’m on a Klone kick lately! I think it sounds great, and it’s downright cheap! I wish more pedal manufacturers would use top-mounted jacks like this. Great review!
I love this pedal! ❤ I've just got it and it's become the core pedal to get the tone I want. Literally just run everything at 12 O'clock, fat switch off and that's all I need. Boost it with a spark for a lead tone. Drive section complete! 😁
That’s some pedal for one pedal Andy and you demoed the hell out of it. It’s uncanny because I was thinking to myself “ I’d love to hear it with the fat on and treble up full” and then you go and do it 😀👍 this happens a lot on your demos as you generally leave no stone unturned. Cheers Andy 😀👍👍👍
kaì sý, Andy? Using Latin to describe a Greek-themed pedal, what the Zeus!? Great demo, this thing seems super versatile. 'Polite distortion' is such a great description!
What the Zeus! Glad to see reveal videos are coming out now that they revealed it. Yours was the first I found. Probably going to buy several of these and pick the best one (I can’t imagine they’re hand selecting germanium diodes)
@@TheGuitarGeek Lucky you. I need TC to get preorders up so badly so I can make sure I get one of the early ones. If they learned anything from Behringer it’s how to replicate a circuit. Looking forward to checking it out after some of the more expensive Klones failed to impress.
Every single time companies try to prevent popping, the design gets absolutely annoying as hell. Same with the Xotic wah, it actually cuts out your signal completely for a split second when you engage it. Really jarring and aggravating
@@TheGuitarGeek (Apologies in advance) Hey Andy! If Henning suddenly self identified as another gender? I think this is one of them pedals like get it while you can because when it blows up and people figure it out how good it is going to be tough to get here it is 3 years later.... Good luck try to finding it in a store and if you buy it used it's the same money or more with shipping.
WTZ! The pedal sounds great and the size is fantastic but ‘release before engagement’ switch is a deal breaker for me - if it was a regular switch I would have bought one straight away.
@@TheGuitarGeek I hadn’t considered that. I don’t currently use a switcher as I only ever have 3 or 4 pedals on a board at any one time, but I’d been considering buying the Patch Kommander mostly for managing stacked drives at the push of a button. This may put the Zeus back on my shopping list 😀🎸🎛
absolutely. no hype. just amazing value for money. i haven't found a setting on this that i didn't like and that wasn't usable in a real world situation...contrary to a lot of overhyped pedals. this one is just fun to use and doesn't change your tone. just enhances it
Is the treble knob responsive when the drive knob is on a lower setting? I have a klon clone and the tone knob isn’t responsive until there’s a substantial amount of gain in the signal; I think that’s just how the klon was…
Cannot understand the "release activation" bypass switch and why they do it that way. Companies with stuff cheaper than this don't have that. That's why I ditched my Prophet Delay. Also, WHAT THE ZEUS?!
I pre-ordered the other pedal in the latest series the Magus Pro and I was told September is when it would be available. Perhaps similar timeline for the Zeus as well.
Then should you not have sent us to a waiting room web page decorated with Ibanez guitar porn and which plays tasteful blues-rock while we wait for Thomann to catch up? A little thoughtless of you sir!

add an EQ and enjoy the day

what the zeus did I just hear? NGL the treble cut or boost really sets it apart and makes it a swiss army knife imo.

Brilliant demo. I wanted to find an extra Overdrive/boost and you convinced me to get one. Thanks you ... oh, and What the Zeus!
They are still not available
The pedal sounds nice... and... I agree about the wonky switch. They should fix that. What the zeus TC??

Thanx for the great review, does anyone know, when they actually deliver them? I pre ordered, too, can`t hardly wait, till it comes...

Could it be a Gretsch?
The Mojo Mojo has a bass knob. Other than that is it the same?
No it’s a different pedal
