We always have too much food. I thought that was a prerequisite for Thanksgiving. For 18 years we have gone away….to celebrate Thanksgiving and our anniversary. Haul every thing imaginable. Married on Thanksgiving Day in 1955. To top it off the first year my son proposed to his dear girlfriend. There are now 17 (9 grandchildren) and a granddaughter in law with friends who come along. This year we had 21. Lots of food, laughter and memories. Keep up the wonderful work you present.

You are so fun! I felt your excitement and anxiety every step of the way. And I love that you share your real people problems with us as well. My disposal stopped working on Tuesday night. That meant the sink and dishwasher were not functioning properly either. I called a plumber and of course they called back right as my weekend guests were arriving on Wednesday. I was in a panic rushing around, instead of hugs and “I’m so glad you’re here! How was your drive?” One of my guests fixed the disposal and everything worked out! And I am SO glad it did for you as well!!! I yelled, “Oh, NO!” When you said the water was spewing everywhere. I felt your pain.🤪😂
LOL! Oh that's such a funny story! Funny enough MY disposal went out the next day! A little coffee spoon got stuck in it and then was the end of that! Right when I still had a ton of clean up to do!! Yikes! This happens all the time at our house, and this time I really debated ripping the disposal out and just not having one ha! We don't have one in the French house and it's never a problem ha! How awesome that your guest was able to fix it! That's a very valuable friend indeed ha!! Happiest of holidays!!

I have a residential property in the washing dc area on a corner position. . I want to plan to separate outdoor living spaces around the house as you have done. .
