I think with the stand...you can stage multiple mannequins around it in the middle of the store. preferable the standing ones...

Don't know if this was already commented on one of the other episodes, but
the advantage of the other cash register is that it can have a longer queue, so more people can wait to be served without getting impatient (may be the source of some of your unsatisfied customers)

I think I saw the customers looking at the mannequins from inside the shop, plus I saw on Steam images of the mannequins facing inside the shop, I think they look at it and want to buy from that, so the stands are prolly for them
