Danny, whatever DD is paying you, it isn't enough. Your videos have helped me tremendously, and I have been playing over 20 years. You are the reason I ever looked into trilogy brands to begin with. And you seem like a cool dude. Thanks, man
New myself, would you mind to elaborate on "trilogy brands" and whatever you have learned from Danny about it? Or just the title of the video totally bored with free time so either would work for me lol. If you do much appreciated man!
If you think you are going to do all 5 in one session, you're either a guy with crazy stamina or you aren't really practicing. If you can go for hours, good on you, man.
In my personal experience, I’ve discovered that using a hand towel and get one corner wet is a good substitute for a heavy water bottle. I grab the towel by the opposite dry corner from the wet one, and it creates a powerful rats tail with the torque that comes from the added weight of the water. And just like grabbing anything else for that type of drill, how you position your hand affects where your swing is going to go. It might not necessarily be the best substitute for that specific drill, but it definitely is great for warming up! Hope this helps anyone out there who’s interested. As always, another great video! Grow the sport!
I've been having form issues over the past few months, but through this video and some of Danny's other videos, I've finally realized my feet were in the absolute wrong position to throw straight and generate power. THANK YOU for making these videos!!! I can even hit super narrow gaps off the tee now because I finally know what to do with my feet 🙏
Ya, so I wish I could post a picture of the results of my trying the Heavy Water Bottle Drill... I flung my heavy water baotle across my living room and right into the center of the 75" flatscreen I was watching your video on! Mayben now i need to hit up DD for sponsorship to help me pay for the replacement ... You were NOT kidding when you say that generates ALOT of power!!!
I'm curious to know your thoughts on the Pro Pull. I bought one and have seen improvement in my form, but I don't see a lot of people talk about the product.
Henlo, im am first comment Love the power pocket drill, I'll definitely be using this when I feel my throws are rounding out. Also, I want to point out that these drills are useful for players at any level! great mix of quick drills here
I actually do the power pocket drill too, but instead of a disc or a water bottle, I grab one corner of a dish/hand towel that way I can feel and hear the towel whip through after the pocket. Learned that one from a Dion Arlyn distance clinic video from 2011.
Hi, I've been playing disc golf since April, and I'm still throwing backhand from a standstill. I don't have any forehand to speak of. I'm throwing pretty much anything 5+ speed 180-220'. I've been working on not rounding and nose angle. I was wondering if I should work on perfecting my standstill form before adding the walk-up or will adding the walk up be such a big change that I need to add it first. Thanks for any advice you can give.
Thanks Danny, I'm a struggling beginner and hopefully these drills will help me improve my inconsistent form and gain a bit (or a lot) of distance. Cheers!

@@DoctorlyRob you probably know by now but trilogy refers to Westside Discs, Dynamic Discs and Latitude64
These exercise are great to improve my wrist position, thank you so much for this tutorial. I think it's one of the best tutorials I've ever seen 👏🏻
*comes back from my field throwing session to see a video of 5 drills I could’ve done*

seymourglass26 disc golf isn’t a strenuous sport though haha. Kids go to practice for contact sports for hours every day after school
seymourglass26 Is probably try to focus on 2 of 3 but I’m not so sure about all 5 lol
The Llama yeah I was one of them haha
Nice humble brag, wish I had my own field 😒

You are a good teacher 👍 Thanks for taking the time 🏆

I have been watching instructional videos for years and other than the “finger dislocation bottle drill”. This is good, original, stuff.
I would like to see more videos ( like this ) about forehand throwing.
I need this so badly. Throwing forehand came naturally, but I get sick of seeing backhanders match my distance while barely trying.
I was just watching loopghost video on the beato right peck drill. Something I'm going to go try and do here in the field soon

I love the DynamicDiscs site’s live chat. sooo helpful!
Thank you! These are very helpful and useful drills.
Nice drills!
These are great, starting them all tomorrow thanks bro!!
Thanks Danny.

any drill for forehand?
Can you explain how Disc Speed translates to arm speed or force of a throw?
Tip #1 - 'Ya Gotta" DRINK it!
What is that music? The hiphop beat in the pauses and the intro. Where does it come from?
Nice
Where can I get that bottle?
Make sure you turn your planted foot on the follow through or you might feel a little pop in your knee 👍
Danny, where is the best place to purchase toenail clippers?
Can you make a completely separate video of how to get rid of rounding? And more drills for that😅
