I wish Chris still made the kits, I could sure do with one! A lot of work went into restoring the only series 'hero' bike known to have survived. It was on display at Cars of the stars, Cumbria, but it was sold when they closed. It is believed to back in the USA but nobody knows where :(
Awesome job! Great video! This is one of the later versions. The pilot was different and then they had 2 other versions in the show I believe. Really cool to see the up close details!
Chris The Suntman from show who lives in swansea had it and sold it to The Cars of the Stars Motor Museum was in the English town of Keswick Cumbria, and owned it. On 8 May 2011, the attraction closed, the museum website stating check the website for details of the relocation of the vehicles to a new location shortly As of December 2011, the museum website has redirected to the website of the Dezer Collection Museum and Pavilion in North Miami, Florida.
I had all the complete molds for the bike as well but back in 2002 we sold our house and the other house and moved to merritt island...the molds where thrown away by a clean-up crew we hired and didn't know it for a month.
+thatpropguy I wish I had that bike but it's now in Florida with the James bond cars, I did own Chris replica kit I wish I still had it pity the other 14 bikes are missing. I am just sticking with my Batgirl Cycle and BSG Land Probe projects
I thought I heard all of the versions of Streethawk-Tangerine Dream theme. Remixes, remasters, etc. I have never heard the second song on this video outside of the series. Where can I find this track? Is it on a rarity? I grew up humming these themes while riding my bike, It would be great to have it on CD!
Looks like the bike Eric Nagy (Knightonline) owned (who used to work for Universal studios). He turned out to be a rip off thief concerning replica parts he promised to make for the Knight Rider K.I.T.T. car.I know of many (including myself) who he took a lot of money off but never returned or made anything in return. The broken area around the front cowl/nose gives it away.
Well Chris Knows Streethawk best as he was the stunt man on the show and he made rep of the bike me and my bro owned which was spot on and sold to knights of England Stephen Winfield who does not do what he says plus he can even give any info of the person who he sold it too what was our kit onto and he paid around 300 quid for it
It appeared green in certain light. Was actually a bluey purple from what I can remember. I took the restoration pics and you can see my old bike at 2.15 the red XR-650. Chris put in endless hours restoring this.
Nicola Robynson Do they, I remember Chris selling it to Cars of the Stars in Cumbria but I thought when that place shut down it went out to a museum in Florida
Wow! I love it! The man,the machine...Streehawk 😉✌️
I owned the replica, but when I win the lottery I will save it and get it restored and show it
