  • This video shows how to trap longer floats when knitting stranded colorwork and holding both yarns in the left hand. The yarn held to the left is in the dominant position, which means it will pop a little more in the finished piece. (Remember to hold the same yarn dominant throughout!) I show both how to trap the dominant color and the secondary color. To keep the stitches from bunching up, spread them out as you work! Note that stranded colorwork is traditionally knit in the round.
