Knitting How-to: The T increase; Teeny Tiny Tutorials, Basics
Просмотров 3094 часа назад
The T increase by Assia Brill is a beautiful, perfectly centered increase that can be used anywhere you need a double increase. The method is shown in both continental (yarn held in left hand) and English (yarn held in right hand) knitting styles. To use this increase on an item knit at a looser gauge, use the first version shown. To use the increase on an item with a tighter gauge, where the m...
Knitting How-to: Romi's I-Cord Cast-On Hack; Teeny Tiny Tutorials, Cast Ons
Просмотров 5623 месяца назад
The i-cord cast-on is a neat and tidy way to start a knitting project, but the traditional method leaves a purl ridge and a row of elongated stitches. My hack gets rid of both the ridge right above the i-cord and the elongated stitches! 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 🧶 If you love this type of content, please like and subscribe! Teeny Tiny Tutorials tips & tricks: Russian join
I just realized that the thumbnail is actually for another video, and was wondering why the I-cord was never brought up lol
Love it! Thank you!
These are so cute and look so fun to add. Thanks so much for the teeny tiny tutorial.
Great tutorial!!! I am a retired dental hygienist… Who knew that super floss could be used in Knitting 🧶! Very inventive. Will be adding beads to a new sweater. Will also be doing a tubular cast on that I learned from you! You are awesome! Thank you 😊
Can this be used for a folded collar with the edge I need to fold with is an alternating cable cast on?
I’ve knit two Cactus Flower shawls. Fun knit.
Def move your fruit trees if you can. You don't want half of the fruit to be falling on your driveway and be unusable. You should look up how wide the drop zone is your tree are (it varies by tree) before you dig them up again .
Lovely! Thank you.😊
Hi Romi ❤
Teeny tiny brilliance! Thank you. You made this so clear and easy.
I asked a question on your Facebook page but so far no help
I don’t know if you will see this because I’m typing into a video you did 5 months ago butz I need help with the cactus flower shawl
Easy peasy... I LOVE it!!! Thank you!
This is so helpful for my lace project! Thank you very much for demonstrating how to do it with knitting needles as well.
This very helpful. Love this pattern.
Watching your piece a few days late!
Fabulous. Thank you 🙏🏼
I have watched a lot of videos and, while I understand the casting on method, I don't understand how it forms a seamless tube for things like socks. At what point do you join the stitches to form the round?
Straight to the point. Clear and concise. Thank you!
Você e o máximo para as explicações como fazer os pontos de tricô . Parabéns.Sua nota E 1000. Obrigada
We appreciate you Romi ❤
KAL yes!!!
I’d love to do a KAL.
Does this also work with single stripes?
Thanks Romi
Thank you so much!!!
Why do you put the beads on the wrong side? Will they show up on the right side?
Thanks Romi for all the great techniques. Your new socks are so pretty.
Interesting
I finished blocking the Falderal shawl yesterday and got to give it to my friend today. She LOVED it and started tearing up. She kept holding it, feeing the lace stitches, experimenting with ways to fold it, and how to drape it over her arm. In short, she's entranced. Thanks for making me look like a superstar by designing and allowing me to buy such a beautiful pattern!
I don't understand how to knit whit judy's magic cast on a sweater. When i am using the bottom needle? and which needle do you use to knit the top one?
Sweet Georgia
Thank you for getting straight to the point!
Thank you Romi. I am going to try the jogless stripes. I love the look of the knitting that looks like crochet. Looking forward to you exploring that more.
Outstanding modified I-Cord BO and modified garter tab techniques. Thank you so much. I plan to try these.
Sound starts about 10 minutes in.
I am finding this video to be absolutely fascinating! I'm an experienced knitter, but a lace newbie and the information is perfect. I do have a question though - at about the 45" mark you mentioned that you wind your balls 3 times for tightness. I have no idea what you mean by that. Do you want a tightly wound ball or are you trying to avoid that and why? Thank you
Thank you for this amazing tutorial, quick and concise and very, very helpful!
Thanks Romi. Such a beautiful pattern and interesting technique to start the shawl.
Thank you for all your teaching me 🍎😊💜
Amazing 🍎😊💕
I Love this idea the stripes are so even Yes I will make these for my local shelter Thanks Romi 💕🌷😊
Just aWOW WOW WINNER!
You make it look so easy ❤
Lovely I could never pick a favorite they're all Lovely 🌹❤😊
You're my saving angel this evening. Thank you for this post!
What style of knitting are you doing, please. It took me forever to figure out that there were different styles of knitting I thought it was just all knitting. And that's why I never did it, because there was too much to learn. Welcome after I had thrown away all of the stuff that I didn't want to do didn't seem fairly natural for me to do as a crochet or I ended up having to (or maybe it was on a whim to as maybe things were dawning on me), look up what style of knitting the Russians do because it turns out my hands -n- mind kinda like the very straightforward approach of Eastern European/ Eastern / Russian knitting! It kind of looks like that's what you're doing, but since I don't speak Knittin'ese, and don't make sense out of patterns, I'm not sure what you are doin'. I'm wondering if you're doing what is called Combination Knitting.
Romi I just want to thank you for your videos. I always learn so much and am amazed how you come up with all these amazing techniques. I have been knitting your designs for years going back to your shawl series. Every single design has been really fun to knit. I appreciate you. 😊
I just Love this this is so important so professional 💕😊
The one I received with the gold squares? Thanks
