You do realize that when it comes to voice acting. If you're not showing your face then having your voice being iconic is not a good thing. In fact, that's probably one of the worst things. You could tell someone in the voice acting business because it means they're clearly not trying to be a character hard enough

Awkwafinas "iconic" voice is just someone's chain smoking grandma. It would be fine if she played those types of characters but she doesn't. None of her VA roles match her very range less chain smoking grandma voice at all. She's poorly cast in every animated film she is in.
The real problem is that if you were playing multiple lines from many of her characters you'd think it's just one because they all have different personalities but they all sound the same with the same humour

I just don't want celebrity VAs. It's done to death and is rather uninspired. Voice acting is meant to be varied for many roles, not the same. It's almost like studios are not confident in regular voice actors to attract audiences.
