"Shouldn't look too thought through or styled" this is the true of essence of great design. Bravo!
theurbancttg Well, her (beautiful) home sure looks very thought through to me. However in a “no makeup makeup look” kind of fashion. Which I love. Not to be mistaken for “barely there” there’s certainly a lot going on in that space. But rather how beautifully the “makeup items” that she have is used to enhance the beauty of the space and give the impression of not putting too much thought into it.
It’s like a well done movie, where things just flows and feels organic. Yet it’s very much organized to give that exact impression to the viewer. Or like figure skating, where things also looks very effortless and gracious, but behind it lies so much preparation and thinking through things, trying it out to see what works well. So, I like the way she has decorating her home. But it feels very much styled and thought through. - Which I consider to be a good thing.
@@NiinaSKlove voila!
Your own design has to come naturally to you or else itll just be a mimicry of someone else
Except that is exactly what she's doing - styling and thinking through ..
Whoever chose the music for this video did a brilliant job of matching it with the style of this space!
It’s seems so personalized and thoughtful. You want to meet the person who lives there because the treat and design it like a home, not a magazine cover.
The fabric on that stool is absolutely incredible!
I LOVE the idea of framing the Ballet Russe pictures!! I'm a dancer and HUGE lover of ballet - great idea!!
Ooh I love her library and the wall mountable antique ladder. Her home is lovely 💞💕
Love the bracket shelf over the radiator. amazing, beautiful idea!
Let's not forget to mention her lovely outfit!
And accent.
Now this place I love. I too take the approach of not having your home too thought out and planned looking. Love all those fantastic plants she has, makes me want to go out and buy plants tomorrow.
I too love the plants. Such great light for them. My place lack light due to bad design. 🤔 Surely they are not magnificent fakes, no? What do you think? If they are I will start saving and shopping today.
Love her flat so much, the bones of it and the style she has added. The little radiator shelf and library and green color.
Oh, I love, love, love this home!! I love the mix of patterns, textures, artwork, etc. I also love that the books aren’t turned the wrong way around in the bookcase!
Beata Heuman is very talented. I love her style.
Love Beats Heuman style - wow! Her use of space and eye to detail - superb!!
I love the painting behind you when you open the double doors.
Gosh I am in love with Beata Heuman ❤️❤️❤️..A huge fan
Stunning, clear and uncluttered yet homely, wonderful
Now that's a lovely detail-- the pinstriped framing😎
The most beatiful room I've seen!
Those windows and trees outside!!!
And, her artworks are truly lovely and eclectic.
Love this!
Love it all and her big windows, well designed🌿
vey pretty and whimsical!
Beautiful!! And so very simple
Amazing! Beautiful! Love it all.
So good!! Very inspiring!
Love the headboard!
Maravilhosa sua casa 👍🏽
Adoro este estilo de casa. Vou me inspirar em ideias desta casa.
Saudações from Brazil
I think I'm missing it, what ever I was suppose to see!
Interior design details lol
I love the plants in front of the window :)
Very cool! love your style!
You have a very pretty place to live. It looks very comfortable.
My mom's name was Beata. It always surprises me when I see that name. I am sure that there are more Beatas here in the USA but I have never met any. I have always heard that Beata means Blessed One.
Short & sweet. Cute!
Gorgeous!
Some great ideas!
i Loveloveloved this!
The individual pieces are beautiful. However, I would have liked to see more shots of how they look in each room.
so cute!
Absolutely love the Sloaney accent. It so suits the design and decor. Pre Made in Chelsea, Chelsea.
It’s interesting how a Swedish accent can sound so Sloaney - which this one did.
(I’m a Londoner. Americans don’t really understand or distinguish British accents.)
Beautiful
I love her dress. And paired with high top sneakers it looks so hip. :-)
BEAUTIFUL
Exceptional. ❤️
Love it❤️
Lovely home
Belíssima❤
Lovely
Nice and Beautiful
very great style
Does anyone have a link to the moon brackets? I've looked on Etsy and can't find them :( but I can't stop thinking about them!
Русский балет! Как прекрасно... есть ценители еще...🌺💝 Russian balet... Brava...
Приятное местечко
would like to move in as soon as possible please :-)
Great tip of hanging your stepladders on hooks in hallway
Ugh it makes me sad when people don’t rotate their fig trees... there’s no reason for it to be leaning...and she seems so detailed🤷🏾♀️
Really? You found it necessary to comment on her fig tree and yet say nothing nice about the apartment itself...
sfu nyc Ha! My oversight! The apartment is stunning! But I guess that’s what the comment section is for; to comment about what you want in regards to the related video... which is more appropriate then commenting about other people’s comments. Cheers!
@@sfunyc1281 still her comment is polite and relevant for the video. I for once, like the owner of that fig tree, was unaware that you should rotate them. I always take a look at the comments on RUclips because you learn so much. Yet there seem to have become strangely common to force people to say nice things, and strangely people who do that are usually far more rude or negative than the original poster.
The leaning hasn't got necessarily something to do with rotating the fig though... My fig is leaning towards a side because it's heavier on one side, and I always rotate my fig.
Does anyone know what the light fixture at 2:38 is or where it’s from?
💝💝💝
😍😍💕
How cute was her house?! 👍🏾
Can anyone tell me what the colour of the green study is please? 💓🙏
Bit late but it’s Farrow and Ball Calke Green
@@joogoo83 you’re a legend. Thanks!
❤
Beautiful I Love her esthetic what is her accent ?
Cockney as in low class

1:16 . Does anyone know what type of plant that is?
Monstera
@@ruthpearsall2618 :: Sorry, but the plant is not a Monstera. That is a Fiddle Leaf Fig.
Beautiful flat. What kind of an accent is that btw?
At the beginning she says she was brought up in Sweden.
Special kind of talent to show barely any good shot of the actual design of the rooms. Unfortunately very unnerving.
Could not have said it any better.... we basically saw that she had a fig leaf tree.... and maybe some books
i kept waiting for the camera to zoom out but it just never did...
It makes you think the space is alot less interesting in a pulled back wide shot, and doesn't do the designer any favors as anyone can create a corner tableau or cosy moment somewhere, tge trick is bringing the overalk scheme together.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Why block out all of the light with the plants
Without the plants, the room would look so sterile.
They don't block they filter the light and create an atmosphere...some rooms have too much light..
RitaTocta What? Too much light??? There’s no such thing, especially when it’s natural (unless you’re trying to get to sleep!!)
@@lornamarie5544 of course there is too much light in some cases ..then everything becomes shadows and you can't even read and it hurts the eyes...
To the house &garden RUclips admins: if it's a 3 min video, it is off-putting to the viewer to have a long advertisement before the video starts
#Dubois. @#SwizzleSticks @Narsicissim @#Augsperg @#SanDDPExpiry @#BrodyBallet @#RareMinerals
I like her …because she said she does not want it to look too styled … that is a good start … most interior designers are ALL about styling … too much styling … styling is the enemy … to me artists make better designers
Without knowing her at all I am impressed just by her name...Beta Human.
Don't want to understand "it". I just want comfort, color, and cozy.
Strangest voice I’ve ever heard
I don't mind to be rude but I can't understand a word she was saying.
Thank you. I could not either but I watched it 3 times giving it my best try.
Its really probably impertinent 4 years later, however there was a problem with your language and speech. For proof watch the closed captions, eye opening. Couldn't decipher shit
Pregnant?... Yeah I'm gambler.
