Thank you. The “random” stuff was what I needed to see. Also leaving your mic on let us hear the latency between the time you pic the string and the time the app played a note. It was actually faster than I expected it to be.
my mannnn, i literally saw your original video a few days ago and was wondering how your set up was. So glad that you came back after all this years ! Thanks for explaining !
Quite interested in this, although, being honest, it’s MUCH better for people like you with decent guitar skills. Making the same licks or playing of notes, translate to trumpet, or violin, is a really good idea in that circumstance. Now, the reason I got Jam’s MIDI Guitar 2, is because I thought you could strum at least a SLOW arpeggiated type chord, and it would ‘spray’ the MIDI notes into GarageBand iOS etc? I even contacted Jam Audio about this, but their answer left me just as baffled - it might not have been a ‘yes’! With SWAM trumpet etc now, and the amazing rapid improvement in the Audio Unit situation (plugins) for iOS/iPadOS of the last three years, things are motoring. Lastly, the vid I did that got most attention - and this is a life-lesson - was how to adjust the handbrake on a particular make of popular car, for which the manual is not readily available. To date, at least 20,000 people have been able to see what to do rather than snap bits of plastic off, or put the car on jacks unnecessarily. It seems to be a numbers game. Make lots, is the clear lesson, if you are serious, and latch onto a niche where people seek help, and you also have to make it interesting without being corny. A challenge, for sure. I am no longer able to make money on youtube, and I am not trying to. They set the payment system, and the subscriber numbers etc, through the roof for just anyone making regular vids. Good luck anyway. Take care, keep well and be safe.
Sorry to second-comment…I would have been interested to hear a bit about the ‘bias’ effects, and you shot past at top speed! I do not have that one, but I have Turnado, and also Mixbox, which I think is made by the same company that do Bias - iK Multimedia? So, not that I am a guru or anything, but as someone who you did get to arrive here, I’d have liked a brief rundown at least of the boxes, and which one or two you thought were indispensable, and why you chose bias instead of using the standard Apple GB ones, etc. These are just my thoughts as a viewer with some experience of youtube creation. Sampletank is an interesting box of tricks. It had a superb reputation, but somehow got criticised a lot as it went along. Don’t know if that’s justified, you might give your view? Stay positive, don’t sweat people’s adverse comments, if there are any. The internet and some spectators being negative, just go together, it’s an unpleasant aspect you keep yourself above - just smile and nod, neither of which gets on your channel. Anyway, I had to rewind and halt the vid just to get a look at your FX boxes in the bias app. You could see if there’s a way for people to get the same kind of ‘effect’ (sorry, pun) using GarageBand’s own FX. Last point, and as someone with an occasionally different accent to people I meet, I say this with feeling - when there is an unusual word, especially if it’s short and not in your first language, you really need to slow down your pronunciation or write it up on the screen at the same time. I knew ‘Bias’ effects were a thing, and I still had to rewind a couple of times to catch it. That’s not a criticism, except, it’s a way you can help the listener/viewer to stay engaged. Baffling or odd terms might not be readily understood. Well, that’s all, thanks again for the vid. I have watched it all at least, good stuff.
@@IanOmictin Can I doing the same using my harmonica? What's the app for this? MIDIGUITAR 2? With or without the internal mic of the app (wireless)? Wich MODEL of IPAD I must buy? Anyone? Is it necessary to be on line? Or only through wi-fi or in airplane mode is sufficient? I will wait for your answers, please. Thanks a lot. Ah! Is there a similar app for Android to do that?

what do i need for my pc hook up for my sampletank and midi guitar for a accoustic guitar
Is there a guitar amp/sim/midi app that will turn the guitar into different guitars like Fenders, Gibson, banjo’ etc just like a Line 6 Variax?
Hi sir. Can you do a pitch bend for example in saxophone sound? I am interested. Thanks
Is it possible to use this and say split the signal so that you can use the Midi stuff but also still run the guitar through an amp?
I can never get it to work properly. I get ghost notes all of the time and I never registers all of the strings I am playing…
